You are a mother and a Christian soldier
Always ready to stand up for another
You have made your mark here on Poetry Corner
With your cheerfulness, wit and sense of humour
Your poetry displays a deep sincerity
That's a projection of your inner beauty
We know you have your responsibility
And we wish you will always be happy

About this poem:
Just my observation
Post Comment
Secrets aren't forever.
Though I've kept one locked away.
This day their binds I sever
For there's something I must say.
Though past words have been cryptic
And careful have they been.
I care not to be mystic
About the things I feel again.
I've written much for all to see
Though often meant for only one.
And now at last I feel free
For now what's done is done.
Some days ago I packed some things
And travelled through the night.
To her for whom my heart just sings,
A seven hour flight.
Even now we're sitting here
So near the Irish sea.
This poem I write is for my dear
The lovely LadyBee.
I'm smitten so, and now you know.
A secret kept as best I could.
But now we're basking in the glow
Of love that's strong and good.
We both agreed it's time to share
The joy we feel with you.
And say to you that if you dare
Your dreams might just come true.
