the blue whale

we tracked it with technology
we fixed a tracing ring
in the hope of reading data
the haunted click to sing

we followed her in boats
she pitched a role to play
we watched her shoal a stanza
as time zones fell away

she beached in California
a thousand souls did track
in a sea of rhyming couplets
love just brought her back

her enigmatic measure
a pen as gambler's stake
once I thought she smiled at me
as eye did surface break

all currents are concurrent
all hungers grow with sate
all equals carry conscience
all actions carry fate

the new fleets of media
near hunt her to the brink
yet she thrives
where no man dives

a thirst beyond a drink

walRU

girl from elsewhere

there'll be people on sundays
standing in doorways
praying to statues
they want to believe

her face amongst many
a sunflowered penny
shined by the daylight
lucky to some

her eyes azure curtains
as nothing was certain
a flowering kindness
escaped from her mind

down at the station
her parent's creation
stares at my troubles
and takes them away

folks said they knew her
they hardly saw her
ivory feathers
under her clothes

not of this planet
she dips like a gannet
exiting waters
unswimmed, unsailed

I never.. kept a picture
but her features
are scripture
frescoed tiles

on the walls of my dreams

THE WORLD

Slowly encroaching
Upon your personal space,
Shadows enfold you
Obscuring your pretty face
From the light
That gives life
To the world.

The world
I once knew
That was built around you
begins to slip away;
Black and white
fades to gray.

The dreams
Of grandiose plans
For our lives we would have had
Now are all shattered;
the sad thing is
They no longer matter.

Endlessly wondering,
My heartbeat is racing
Silently waiting here
And frantically pacing
By your bedside
With tears in my eyes
For the world.

The world
I once knew
That was built around you
begins to slip away;
Black and white
fades to gray.

The dreams
Of grandiose plans
For our lives we would have had
Now are all shattered;
the sad thing is
They no longer matter.

I ask myself,
"Why didn't he stop to think
Before he ordered another round
And had one last drink?"

You were coming home
After working vary late
And expressed how much

The next thing I heard
On the phone
Was him hitting the car
After losing control.

Now, here I am
Holding your hand and seeing your face
While hearing the machines
Trying to make you stay
Here by my side;
Both living our blessed lives
In the World.

The hours pass by
Without even a wink of sleep.
My ears intently
Focused on every beep.
It starts to slow down
And I wear a frown
As I realize
That this is good-bye
To the world.

The world
I once knew
That was built around you
begins to slip away;
Black and white
fades to gray.

The dreams
Of grandiose plans
For our lives we would have had
Now are all shattered;
the sad thing is
They no longer matter.

The voices in my head
Tell me to foresake all
That I love
And methodically murder
That drunkard
In cold blood.

Just then,
There you are again;
Images clearly siered
In my brain.
your smile
That I miss so much
Reminds me of just why
I ever fell in love.

I hesitantly let go
Of your lifeless hand
And struggle with all
Of my might to stand.
I leave the room amidst the gloom
Heading down the hall.
I ask to enter
With an even temper
To see if he survived at all.

He stares up at me
With a silent plea
As I look down and smile.
"Just pray for your sake
That your heart shall not ache
As mine will for a while.
What you did was foolish enough
And it has cost me my dearest love;
However, I am glad that you live
So that I may forgive
You for what has been done.
My hope is
That you shall learn from this
And tell the events of this day
To the ones who still stray;
Saving many more lives
Than the one who has died
And left the world."

About this poem:
The idea hit me one day to write a song about a husband, his wife, and the aftermath of a car accident. This is the end result.

A poem with no rhyme!

If you get too lost in your own sense of importance
You will lose it all, you WILL cease to exist like us all,
And then it’s over, and all of your regrets will be lost
To nothing, no one will care that you were even here,
So, today, say to yourself I DON’T KNOW, and then
Life will change.

I look!

I look, I see, what was meant to be,
But nothing is divine, nothing here makes
You mine,
All of our creation, and all of what
You can be,
It’s decided by who?......you at the
Back, you are me!
Sometime in some way in someplace
And somehow, you will know,
You are me! In the past in the future and
Now!

I'll Set You Free

I'll set you free like a butterfly, you'll find your way to your future. Give you freedom to be happy and find what is good for you.

I'll set you free because I'm not worthy for you, I cannot give you happiness and life that you want me to do for you.

Find the future what is right for you without me. I'll set you free because I love you.

Spread your wings like a butterfly, fly high and find your destiny.
Even if it cause pain in my heart,
I'll set you free.

Genesis

If you could only remember who you really are,
being here, so near and so far,

Imagine something divided by two, then divided eternally,
that's me and you, you may not see,

For this "REALITY", blinds you purposefully,
and it's intention is to set you free,

To experience who you really are, from outside of
yourself, and from afar,

Just one Entity finding itself and being free.

Games and life!

Such games prevail, but sadness reigns, the
Show must go on, be what they want you to be,
And then, finally you see, too late, it’s over,
Oh such games we play, humanity is where it is,
Honesty and integrity, so many have failed,
So many pedestals, so many victims lost to
Fear, lost to not being, silently screaming with
No one to hear,
No one can be all you want them to be, and
Their fear ends in their demise, they believed
And fell to the lies.

The Old Man!

The old man left our house, took my car and drove away,
I was twenty one, I remember to this day,

There was no goodbye, there was no adieu, there was never,
we'll never see you, again,

And life went on, with someone gone, like a distant song, someone
sung, but the "old man" was really young,

Who I thought was old, was 53, nearly ten years younger than me,
today!

I feel his spirit nearly every day, he helps me, shows me, leads me
on my way.

He does!

Colours!

Colours……………., colours mean so much don’t they?
They can define your day, blue or grey,
Or soothing and colourful, feel the hint of spring
On it’s way,
Blue is cold, like a winters day, ….but snow, snow
Brings out the child in you for you to play,
Orange is warm, a tropical paradise, a holiday
A place that’s nice
And green is precious, not envious, just
Spend a while, in the Emerald Isle
Red can be what you want to see, or just a rose,
Colourfully,
There’s yellow, violet and indigo, it’s a wonderful
World, is that not so?
