How I do wish to God
That I was two Dogs
Then we'd play together all day,
We'd run through the bog
A' chasing Green frogs
And rise the odd pheasant or hare.
We'd lie down together
To doze in the heather
To the hum of the bumblbees
We'd swim in the lake
Then have a good shake
And nibble away at our fleas.
The birds in the air
They'd not give a care
For the larks of two Dogs in a bog,
The fish in the streams
Could go on with their dreams
While myself and my mate had a snog.
And as the sun sets
With our panting breath
We'd run down the old boreen
Then we'd scratch and we'd paw
At the old master's door
And be fed 'til our bellies were pleased.
While we'd lie by the fire
We'd be truly admired
As our coats would shimmer and shine,
And on top of a dresser
Among some old treasures
An old cat might stretch out and whine.
To the tick and the tock
Of a Grandfathers clock
We'd be snoozing by half past ten
And early next morning
Without anyone scorning
We could do it all over again.

About this poem:
Last summer, while out with my Dogs, I watched them play in the bog. It was such an entertaining sight to see them frolicking among the heather and wild flora, without a care in the world. So this "song" came to me like a bolt from the blue!
I ran home as fast as I could. Well you don't allways have a pen and paper handy.....Do You?

There’s no script for life! but it seems to me it seems to be,
Lights, camera action all of the time,
The director is YOU, it makes no sense, no reason
Or no rhyme , to fall in line all of the time.
We are not actors in a stage play, we are creators
And we can do it OUR WAY!

When you view this world through a speckled lens, there's those that resist, there's those that have missed, those with a bucket list, those that live in fear, those who refuse to hear, there's those that know, those that grow, and those that will never be, there's those who cannot see, life is not reality, but a dream that never ends, we will meet again in the next episode, my friends.

they said misfortune stalked you.. they said that life was hard
in the genetic school of poker
you were dealt the hardest card
a rogue gene: you misshapen henceforth they would detect
but all I see is beauty
in the poster I inspect
it was hard for me to process
I was new in town
I'd left a girl for the colour
of a certain wedding gown
she wanted picket fences
guess I was too remote
the only berth to interest me
was on a fishing boat
then I saw you in this poster
your eyes two drops of rain
I saw a man recoil from you
as if you held some blame
you followed me around town
I saw your face amongst the stars
I began to see you everywhere
in the licence plates of cars
you removed the night's wallpaper
to paint the air with sky
your beauty far too certain
to entertain a lie
so thank you girl for the memory
of the sky that melted blue
and all the pieces of your person.. stuck together with God's glue

If you divide the good by the bad do you get the mad? The sad?
If you multiply you and me what would you see?
A host of energy?
If you subtract negativity, then add positivity and all that could be,
Then you know you have passed!

I was never
taught
how music's
sold and bought
all I know
is every girl
I ever knew
had lyrics.. but never you
girl you are
a celtic air
a blend of strings
when no-one's there
no need for lines
nor lyrics wrote
a warmth beyond
a thing you'd quote
I see the words
of girls I knew
fade amongst
the morning dew
I hear your strings
at evening's fade
your head sleeps on
my shoulder blade

When you ask who am I, I shall say, go away,
I know you, and you know me, so, remember
Your part, go away, and take it to heart,
And if you come back, look into my eyes,
And see, that I will know your lies.

snow
snow from
above covering
the land with snow,frosty winds
with the wind chill factor ,most of
uk is coverd in snow biting winds frosty
cold conditions
children playing laughing in the snow
snow ball fights, throughing snow
children slidding from hill tops to valleys below
fun there having in the deep deep snow
frosty fingers, frosty toes all having fun in the snow
cars abandond slidding in the snow ,they have no place to go
cattle abandond in fields hiding under trees, waiting for
there next

long this
snow will

one knows
merry xmas one and all

tell me thelma...
the islands of your heart,
the cities of your soul,
the empathy of your world.
tell me thelma,
the peaceful lake shore,
and the fountain,
high in the azure..
tell me thelma..
the door is closed
on the wounds..
gentle cat asleep,
behind the curtain..
tell me thelma..
you have a crazy sailing boat,
in your head..
the power to tame oceans,
to appease volcanoes..
tell me thelma..
your words,
are english,french,
tagalog,
bird,frog,
water and fire..
thelma..
rewriting the lonely planet,
you are our connecting salon..

"father's fly me strength of two
all wars are old yet I am new"
the trees will bud bodies without any eyes
as the calm before battle sleeps in the skies
its beyond my arm what faces us friend
but into the maelstrom we soon will descend
the weight of my axe the blood of my kin
before the dawn they'll be wearing my skin
but I will snarl at the gates of this hell
and I'll take some demons with me as well
death comes but once to the brave
but to them without courage
it makes them a slave
