I didn't make a negative comment but I did point out that my children had been under the same criticism by several women I dated.
What I am saying by pointing that out is that you need to look at the situation one more time. That woman liked you, and maybe still does, if you ever make an effort to reconsider then that boy just may be come your best pal. Your influence on him, if it is positive, just may mold that boy into the man that will be proud of you for your support. Many good things can come out of this if you still want it to happen.
If not I have no judgement on you or anyone else because I have made some bad decisions in my life so I am not about to points fingers. I wish you well and I am a friend.
You are not clear in your writing if this girl left you but it appears she did. So with that conclusion I have this advice for you. Don't close yourself off to anything. Just when you think nothing will happen it will. It always does.
You have to go with what you got and not listen to anyone. And let me tell you, being nice is good! I am a 71 year old man and I still get laughed at by people because of their evil intentions. It used to bother me when I was younger but it doesn't anymore.
I definitely like Cybers saying, "Don't allow people to rent space in your head"! She has used that a couple of other times and it has made complete sense!
I caught that too but that's how teens write. And think. I remember my opinions, thoughts or any "emo" I had then was always twisting and turning. It was great being a teen.
I have always forgotten alot. It used to worry me to no end. Then one time I read a book about forgetting. It basically said not to worry because forgetting is a very normal thing. Good, because I can't remember the name of the book or the author.
Thank you for your nice compliment, Nevica. I have lots of wavy hair and the only thing i do is wash, condition and let dry. Maw Nature does the rest.
I have read in an article at some time that washing your hair everyday is overrated. Natural oil needs to nourish your hair. But, I will have to say, 34 years is a loooooong time.
I have also read that brushing your teeth once a day is enough. I think I will forego that opinion and brush at least twice a day and more like after every meal.
I was going to ask if there was fishing in the lake and concerts too. Good question.
Red:
Yeah, So what. Local entertainment is good too. A few years ago I visited San Antonio, TX and the parks, especially on weekends, are loaded with buskers. I mean, like it's a gallery of bands, dancers, mimes and you just go and enjoy for fun!
I once took a writing class . One day this guy sitting in the back piped up, "That doesn't make any sense. Your not clear".
Hah! To me it was. So friend BLUE! Keep on writing. I don't even remember what the critics drivel was about. Probably wasn't interesting but so what! He had his say so and that's ok too!
You are funny. Here you start with a "received call from ex" blog and it suddenly gets into football. Truly, a single irresponsible man like me.
I have not made any effort to have any contact with my ex even though she has done so a few times. I have just asked her not to contact me and it has been a few years since she has.
Yeah, better not to look back. Good for you not wanting to!
I googled the whole story and I was amazed and upset by some of her gross acts but that was her business. She was quite the beauty, though.
I was very dismayed that her children "disowned" her. If anything I would look at her from the standpoint that she had to do what she had to do in her life to support herself. It wasn't her fault that certain cultures "sell their children" when the parents need money. And she had to do something to support her kids.
Those old geezers that "bought" her and married her for her looks and then just dumped all over her were just as much to blame.
My daughter just turned 47 and I am just as delighted as I was the first time I saw her. Like your father I was disappointed for about a minute or so. When the doctor announced a girl I frowned. He frowned at my frown and said "Yes, come and see her". She was lying in a glass like thing resembling an aquarium. I saw her beauty and I was immediately captivated. I would not trade her for anyone else EVER! She's also my pal!
RE: Wild life
When I go fishing I also go because it is so cool to watch Mother Nature at work. It is peaceful just watching the wildlife.
