No more questions your honor...

His supporters don't care about his personal life or his business dealings.
I predict his fury in the next few weeks to bring millions of campaign dollars.

Pretty scary...

The E. Jean Carroll case...

Apparently the jury didn't think so.

The E. Jean Carroll case...

BREAKING NEWS... E. Jean Carroll wins her suit against Donald J. Trump.

The E. Jean Carroll case...

ChesneyChrist, I've warned you about comments not relevant to the blog.
I'm warning you again.

The E. Jean Carroll case...

I researched this and found a few different stories that date back a few years.

She had the dress checked and found to have a man's DNA on it.
Trump said he would test and didn't.
The judge thought it would delay the trial and both lawyers agreed not to bring up the subject of the clothing.

If it was his DNA, he's done.
If it wasn't his DNA the case gets dropped.

The E. Jean Carroll case...

This morning he's already in the news, literally threatening they will will have to deal with him face to face on his return.
For what? Donald, that comes too late. You're under the 'shoulda, coulda, woulda' clause now.

The jury will decide on the evidence submitted in court.
His social media posts only serve as a negative. He was warned by the judge and didn't listen.

RE: Choose For Me, Please..

Around here, they use 'thin-set' tile mastic premixed that comes in 5-gallon pails. From that the tile installer will add some dry mix that is like plaster, so it hardens quicker. There is no reason to rush the process as the mix gives ample time to set tiles and tap into place.

The floors and walls with newly laid tiles are marked off so no one can touch them for at least 1 day. The grout doesn't get applied until the end, 2 or 3 days later as often there is some shrinkage in the mastic. Should they rush the process, you will see cracks or separation in the grout and they will have to return to touch-up the grout.

"So, yesterday, I was invited to hang out with a female friend in the city..."

Friend may not be the correct word.

I'm concerned about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas...

This blog is about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and some shady dealings.

Should I switch gears?

The E. Jean Carroll case...

Mercedes, I wasn't able to find that information.
"The nine jurors (six men and three women) presiding over the case were chosen out of 100, and are set to be kept publicly anonymous throughout the trial."

RE: Choose For Me, Please..

Kal,
I don't see any voids or spacing between the tiles.
Are they applying grout as they lay tile?

I'm concerned about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas...

A link with NO comment.
Other than a shoulder shrug, do you have something to say?

I'm concerned about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas...

You beat me to it.
laugh
I'm having lunch and reading the news.

thumbs up

No more questions your honor...

Track, what blows my mind is the Republican party turning their heads to vetting Donald J. Trump.
Vetting is the process of thoroughly investigating an individual, company, or other entity before making a decision to go forward with a candidate selection or hire for a top management position.

At the time, he was deeply involved in real estate development using money from foreign (Russian) sources. His clothing lines that were manufactured in China and Mexico, posed a conflict of business interest for the position of president.

By definition, he shouldn't have been allowed to be on the ticket.

Should E. Jean Carroll win her case against Donald J. Trump, this could convince more women to come forward and tell their stories...

The E. Jean Carroll case...

George Conway comments on Trump's lawyer's behavior.

Someone commented George looks really good in that photo, like he lost weight.
Yeah, one reply said he did lose about 110 pounds!

RE: Making plans for the USA! (final part!)

I will update you all about the trip when I get home!

Hopefully, the $1,265 will get you there and back.
Do you have a plan B?

Credit card on file...

Update. The old card had the numbers embossed on the front for the old style paper receipt method. Now the front of the card is smooth with the numbers imprinted on the back. My card fits into my wallet with a opening that I would move my thumb up and remove the card. With a smooth front, I have to wrangle it out or not press it into the holder so I can lift it from the bottom.
Small detail.
The old card had been used so many times I was getting read errors on the chip at the front. Some places I had to press down on the edge of the card for the machine to read it.
The new car has been working fine.

I heard bagpipes...

Go find something to do this afternoon.

Twister...

Cleanup is underway:

First comment:
" too bad it missed mar a lago and taken trump over the rainbow. "
laugh

The E. Jean Carroll case...

Does this mean that Trump's absence was to downplay the seriousness of the lawsuit?
After-all, he denied it happened, so why should he appear?

I found a link from a link to a podcast explaining how Donald J. Trump's lawyer who filed an early motion for mistrial that was denied by the court.

Underappreciated musicians...

I saw Guitarist Ted Nugent in 1969 where he played in The Amboy Dukes at the Miami Convention Center. In 1970 I actually met him as his group performed at a venue that my band often played at. 1971 he was back in South Florida. The band I was in was booked as the opening act for Nugent and the venue was an outdoor concert for a local college.

He was always a loudmouth with a huge ego... but he was a fantastic guitarist!
His first fame came with the group Amboy Dukes than he took control until their breakup. Ted went solo with lots of different band members, probably because he was too difficult be in his group for long. As time went on, his mouth got wider and his ego stronger and the political side of Ted came shining through.

I think his ego and abrasive personality overshadowed his talent as a musician.
The stuff he did as a soloist doesn't compare to the playing when he was in The Amboy Dukes.
As a whole, he's totally, underestimated.

The tune is Migration of the album Migration.
Give a listen...

The E. Jean Carroll case...

News this morning... Trump is seeking a mistrial.

Twister...

They should actually do some research.
3 communities where I live were torn up less than 6 months ago.
If it was rare, our cellphones wouldn't light up with severe weather warnings.

The E. Jean Carroll case...

I think it was intentional for her not to 'remember' a specific time/date.
Why?
If she did, Trump would amazingly produce an out of town calendar appointment on or before that date making the perfect alibi.

Smart girl, isn't she?

If you followed along, there was a change in the law that allowed her to file suit.

The E. Jean Carroll case...

I said it earlier this case could go either way, but it's up to a jury to decide. If they take into account how he feels empowered to mistreat women then the outcome won't be favorable on his side.

Twister...

I took a video of some marble sized hail in Boca Raton 4 years ago. I was in the parking lot at work and you could hear them pounding on the roof.

Twister...

Here's a link to some hailstones that look like huge ice chips from a machine.

Also another link showing a car being flipped by a 'suspected' tornado.
