Caldrone is able to place his military on Mexico southern border and its northern border with the US. Make a southern border wall, I think. Two things that a liberal Obama has not done.

Has Obama tried to increase any anti drug program in the country? Methadone? Christian Drug Conseling? Or even non religious group Conseling? No. He does not advise any to be increased. All would cause division in the black community.

$4.00 per gallon is going mess up my summer travel plans. Dang government cannot cut some of the National reserve out and check the supply caused price increases. Heck with the Western oil shale coming in...(could I say gushin in?)....it will be replaced in no time.

If I were Obama....and glad I am not....I would make that Cheasepeke Energy well crackin technology a national secret and keep it in the good old US of A. But it has already been disclosed publically so to late for that.

Obama and Holder had two year to do witch hunt on the GWB administration and on foreign money. They have had wikki leak soil their evidence big time. They have seen foreign government drop legal cases on the GWB attroneys.

Facing a tough re-election at this point, President Obama is
in no position to do a witch hunt the previous administration. If he loses, it quickly become a investigation into his administration. Something he does not want. If does a which hunt on conservative, then it just proves that he was engaging in social warfare and wealth redistribution. Terms in the country that most don't like.

GWB and his administration are safe from Washington investigation/prosecution, Dude. Maybe they might get some international tribunal, el Bardi of Egypt (former UN Nuclear Weapons investigator) is calling for one. But were was el Bardi when that 550 ton of yellow cake in Sadam' Iraq was taken? el Bardi is sitting thin as well.

So I think that GWB and his administration are free and clear. They did what they had to do ...to protect the country, honor both the UN Iraq resolution and the Congressional war vote.

Your truely still gets letters and thank you notes from the White House. I just got a letter signed by the CiC three days ago. And in my email sits a White House thank you note.

Dude has never really picked up how the US government works. Or how the country works. From the outside....it appears all is political division and disharmony that is going on. While on the inside....well is not disharmious or divisive as the media makes it.

That is how a General Petreuas gets to be CIA Director. Talent on both side of the aisleway is respected in the country. Joe Biden's eldest son, a Iraqi veteran is just respected in the country as Sarah Palin's Afghan Vet son.

Dude does not understand this. He likes the idea of class and social warfare in the country. That bottom up and top down stuff.
Maybe that is because he not part of the country, but a outsider looking in.

It is OK, Dude. After the 2012 REP and Tea party victory...talented DEM and Liberals...will still find work. The unemployment rate will drop even more. Small business will begin to prosper again. But we do thank you for thinking of us.

Caldrone has had more Cartel death threats on him, then we can count. The Cartels hate Caldrone. He combined the Mexican military and Federallies into a cohesive force to engage them with joint operations.

Suddenly the Cartel moles inside the military and law enforcement had a second organization looking at them. It was a good orgniazational move.

Caldrone has let US aid and aid come into the country in the fight.
That is why our embassies and consultates have been hardened.

So tell me how a liberal Mexican President or a Fidel Castro would fight the cartels? Castro Cuba is known cartel transit off point. A liberal Mexican president would fight this like Hugo Chavez does in Columbia....he kicks the DEA out of the country. Why?

Hugo says they were organizing a coup. Or maybe they were to effective in connecting Chavez to the Cartels.

He worked his way to be both VP and President. Obama giving Petreuas the job....is also a opportunity.

If Petreuas lands some of the worlds bad guys....bin Laden, Alwalki, and others....with CIA covert operation......he gets the credit.

Obama might have made his worst political enemy here. A young dynamic military man that is doing a Elliot Ness on some global terrorist nasties. Instant fame and world recognition.

Then when he does? What happens? If falls back into Obama/Holders baliwik to decide if it is a military trial
or civilian trial. We have seen how well they make that decision. The best thing that Petreaus can do....get some bad guys in covert operation. Something that Penetta was unable to do.

Our president has been put in the same company as......Assad's Syrian Ambassador, the Qdaffi's Libyan Ambassador....and the other middle eastern parties that the United Kingdom...that is hosting the Royal Wedding....choose not to invite. Or disinvite.

This has to be a real shock to Michelle Obama.....that she can be in the White House...for several years, and get dissed on a Royal Wedding invite. Sorry Michele, the United Kingdom will not have you.

Stratfor has a report out on the changing conditions in Mexico.
A neat map shows that in 2010 about 2/3 of the country were cartel held. In only one years time, that has shifted to 3/4 cartel held.

More importantly the Simola Federation in the west has consolidated much of western Mexico to the border of CA, NV, AZ to the West TX. And in the east, Los Zetas moved inland to occupy much of the central disputed area. Los Zetas also has US border connection from the Gulf to mid TX.

What you have coming is a major cartel terrority war between Los Zetas and Simola Federation, if I read the map accurately. They now press against each other and have forced small cartels out of the picture. They will increase the violence sadly in Mexico for territory.

The question is for the Obama administration, with this war on
the southern border to heat up. What do they do? Is there a obligation, because of the American drug use.....to send US troops and DEA agents into Mexico to fortify the Mexican gov't?

Or does the Administration, watch the war from afar? Increased American presence in Mexico is being seen. And the cartels don't like it all. Defense walls around US embassy and consulates have been installed to protect from vehicle bombs.

In reality the US is in 4 wars. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Mexico. It says alot to the character and strength of this country that it can be in 4 conflicts at one time. Yes, Iraq has cooled, but the other 3 have not.

But the FED government still has not secured the SW border. AZ border residents still have illegals and cartel drug runners ransacking their homes and properties. It might be deporting more illegal back across the border, but the border is still swiss cheese. And with the two main cartels toeing up.....for a major fight....more illegals will come. And coyotes will make them carry more drugs into the country and the cartels will
fight for more border turf.

As much as I like US UAV flying the border...they cannot stop what is going to happen in Mexico the next could or years. Only Mexican agents inside the Cartels can do that. Just like the way mob related crime in the US was dealt with in the 1930s.
Inside and undercover agents are the key here. Till that happens, a cartel war in Mexico will continue to happen.

Some very brave agents need to be enlisted for this work. Americans and Mexicans owe them a thanks and appreciation for the risk they take and work they do.

Congress did not get a chance to debate the Libyan No fly zone, Reb.

And I recently learned that 40% of all Americans receive some kind of gov't assistance today. This is the major reason that the Fed budget has climbed and for the expanse of the FED gov't.

But is that the fault of Congress? Or the administration that manages the benefits and assistance programs? Congress wrote the laws and passed the funds. But the administration applied the laws and rendered the assistance.

England is one few the NATO countries that does not need Libyan oil. Getting lesser amounts then other NATO countries and with the North Sea fields nearby. Yet BP was down in Libya negotiating for more fields. Seems the British think that oil is a good industry to be in.

I think that the Obama administration is so green energy oriented....that those countries that maintaining oil based economies are subject to the kind of treatment, we have seen here. Britian actually has increased its oil consumption over the last 5 years, while the US reduced. And that is why the White House is not going to the Royal wedding, the Queen got a iPod and today the relationship of the two countries......has the US trying to withdraw from the Libyan no fly zone prior to it really being made.

Prime Minister Putin is railing on the NATO airstrike in Libya.
He is joining a increasing number of international parties that see the Libyan bombing campaign as a mean for western society to take over a Islamic country.

The common thought circulating in the Kremlin and in Africa.....is that this is again is to obtain oil for the west.

Putin has said that the west has both attempted to kill Qdaffi and to avoid his harm. Saying that Qdaffi has not had a trial, yet the west is trying to kill him.

Well seems like Mr. Putin.....the hero of Russia....for destroying several Chechen cities.....has found a moral indignity to war. That unless a trial pre cludes it. Then it is just to engage in.

Or unless you are like the small country of Georgia and have Russian ethic problem that needs a military solution. That calls for a just Russian invasion.

You know for a country that is weak in health care...the US has one of those funny records that no other country in the world can match.

It has the most centenerians.....people over the age of 100 in the world. Some 72,000 American today are over 100 in age. No bad for a failing health care system.

Projected the by 2020....this figure will be over 140,000. But of course these old timers are doing it without any health care. Must be a good diet and good living.

Now you would think that China.....with a population of 1b....3 times the US...would have the most centenerians. Or Europe with all that free health care would. But nope it is the good old US of A.

Americans just made a mistake in 2008. The country and the voting pool has aged. It will not make the same mistake in 2012 or in 2016. You saw the 2010 mid term results, REP and Tea Party canidates kicked DEM out of office in record number.

Today Trump goes to the high side of REP polling just by taking a hard line position on Obama and asking for documentation and transperency.

Unless Obama can motivate his shrinking base in 2011 and 2012, he is a one termer. How many one term Presidents that were running incumbant have lost in American history? Wish the answer?

The US did not sink a NKOrean Ship and kill 46 men last April, Dude. Nkorea sank a South Korean vessel and you want to play kissy face with KIM.....because he holds his people captive and repressed? WTF!

President Obama thinks like this as well. Orders a new converted boomer to surface near Nkorean waters endangers the vessel and crew. Then he orders the USS Washington into the Yellow sea, not knowing that 4 hidden Nkorean reactors and the nucs they had been making were waiting for a Carrier battle group within range of their missiles.

He was lucky world war three did not break out. His inability to discern the reality of the Nkorean threat....is what almost caused war here. He underestimate KIM and NKoreans. Now he sends Carter to play patty cake with them.

It was a REP that saved his...butt back in days following the shelling of the SKorean Island. The REP ain't doing it again. Hence you have Libya. If you have not noticed, Obama can get into wars all by himself.

The IMF dropped a bit of economic news that none in Washington is paying any attention to or is making public. What is that?

In 2016....or the final year of next American Presidency....China will over take the US as being the world leading economy. The IMF used a number of factors.....devaluation of the dollar, BOP, GNP, Deficits, and others to plot out this prediction.

So with that bit of bright news.....Washington again show a lack of fiscal restraint and leadership.....willing to accept 2nd place by default. Because when you don't accept a challenge and fall to second, it is be default.

Obviously for the high spending Obama administration being second place on the world lists of economies does not matter much. Else they would be saying something about it. And setting policies in energy, commerce, and fiscal reform to make the Chinese break sweat. But have not.

The only thing we hear from the Obama administration is.....the Chinese don't play fair with yen/dollar. Hey it was the Obama administration that sold China the 1 trillion in T-Bills and all the interest that goes with it. The IMF stacked that against the country in this.

Nor does the Obama administration wish to develop the one industry that the US has a economic advantage in. Shale oil production, were at a $!00+ plus barrel, the country could export and cut the BOP down. And at least cause the Chinese to
gringe when a super tanker of American crude pulls into port.
But that is not on the Obama energy agenda.

Nor do we hear the Obama administration talking about WTO charge against China for those stolen CD, DvD, and other American products. No, the Obama administration has pretty well forgotten Hollywood is a business at this point.

Nor does the Obama administration seem to mind it much when the Chinese make take over offers on American firms. They don't mind the Chinese managing a American company and American workers.

Nor does the Administration shut down China export of AK-47 into the country. Well aware of the demand south of the border for the gun, the Adminstration mine bully pulpbit the American gun industry for weapons ending up in the drug war....but when it come to imported Chinese's AK-47 down there....no words on that is heard.

The list of nors that I have is long....and boring. But they add up to why soon this country will be second place in the world's economies. Why the Obama administration let it happen. Sure the rationalization is.....1b people can out produce and out consume 308m. Yes, but that the American government and last several administrations sat on it hands while it was done....tells us a lot more to Washington thinking than just being second place.

The mid term was one reply to this question. It has been answered in part. The DEM suffered one of the biggest mid term loses in modern history. The Healthcare issue basically killed them. Only on the far west coast, did DEM survive the REP and Tea Party onslaught.

Healthcare was a major issue promoted by President Obama in both his campaign and in first years of his administration. But no matter how he spun it, it sank like rock. I think that was part of the problem. Healthcare was spun and used as a political ploy by the President. It showed him to be willing to use every trick, including back room deals to get his policy thru.

From the issue of Healthcare the FED government would gain control of 1/6 of the economy. It would become massively bloated with new agencies and staff. It would change the basic fabric of the country.

The mid term election put the issue to rest, one would think. Nancy Pelosi lost her majority whip position. Harry Reid nearly lost his seat in the Senate. 1000s of DEM around the country in State and Local elections, were moved to the sidelines.

It was a like the battle of the Alamo...only a few survivors from the 2010...made it out.

Dude want us to think that those survivors can run the country.
That a great nation should be managed by a few, for a few, with only a few to benefit. Great nations don't function that way.

They function great when their common man has great inspiring leadership. President Obama has disconnected himself from the common American. How many Americans take Air Force One to Hawii for a vacation? Or how many Americans will feast on Koby steak? How many Americans will take a staff of 130 security to Spain?

is not in the present one. These could have a Easter hunt on Easter. This one for political correctness and a Muslim outreach program, has a Easter Egg hunt the day after Easter. So it does not draw media attention, to the fact that the country is still Christian.

This is the inspiring message of the Easter season. Yet our White House can barely have a Easter Egg hunt? Pastor Franklin Gragham Junior, denied to DoD prayer service? Christians around the world being persecuted and repressed in China, Iran, Egypt,
Iraq and elsewere and our White House stays silent on it? Talks more of the Islamic rebellions than the persecution of the Global under ground Church? Aids a Islamic rebellion over oil with military power, but cannot place US forces in Iraq to be security for Christian church there?

Our President has disconnected from main stream America....and he has lost a inspirational message for the country.

I think at one time...I said....President Obama does not want middle east peace. How I came to that conclusion....was the mixed signals that he was sending to Abbas and Netayenhu.

Abbas just decided to go public with it. Abbas says the halt to Isreali West bank construction.....was Obama's idea. Then when he went along and up the tree with Obama.....Obama pulled the ladder from him. Obama backed away.

How ticked off is Abbas? Very.

Abbas wants Palestine statehood.....and he is starting to see Obama as the man keeping it from them.

Abbas says....everytime Michell came to them....they gave him ideas on how to work a nation state of Palestine. Only Mitchell never passed them on to the Isreali. Meaning? Obama stonewalled the exchange of information.

So why would not President Obama want middle east peace and a Palestine nation state? The easy answer here is Isreal. But I think that this plays into the present middle east protest and rebellions.

That if Obama keeps the Palestine/Isreal issue alive...then more of this street protest and rebellions will occur. Why is that?
Because its the Moubark, Allie, Qdaffi, Assads that failed to do anything about Isreal during their regimes.

Abbas is clearly not happy. It is not President Obama job to keep Abbas happy......but it might help to get a middle east peace agreement.

While I don't see Washington triggering the street protest, I do think that Obama is now using them to make a radical change in the power structure of the Middle east and N. Africa.
