RE: How much jealousy is too much?

You make excuses. She's not paranoid and possessive, this is normal for a Brazilian. Or she's too beautiful to doubt that I want her etc etc... You tell yourself a lot of things when the woman you once adored is steadily descending into madness in front of your eyes whilst the relationship crumbles around your ears. It lasted 10 months.

RE: How much jealousy is too much?

And I think this how a lot of serious relationships die. One breaks the trust of the other, and because of the kids or whatever the relationship does become like a courtroom where one attempts to prove themselves and consequently the relationship never feels natural and pleasurable again. It is not the lying or the cheating which directly ruins the relationship, but the fact that you can never trust this person again.

RE: How much jealousy is too much?

Temporarily

RE: How much jealousy is too much?

Guilty until proven innocent. When the smallest and twattiest of things trigger the jealousy of the other and you can't through loving affection turn this jealousy on its head and invert the feelings into something passionate and positive, but can only disarm jealousy with cold, hard proof. Jealousy becomes too much when the relationship resembles the atmosphere and nature of a court room.

Jealousy becomes a problem when it's not an emotional story of peaks and troughs, but is instead an irrevocable condemnation of the other person(or yourself)where the relationship feels like one long trough.

RE: Biggest event yet? Massive crowd goes wild for Trump

It's like the madness from Donald Trump's hair is seeping down into his head, collecting at the back of his mouth, and then being spewed forth into the ears of the mindless masses.

RE: A philosophy thought

It would be more of a miracle if you didn't turn your money into beer laugh

RE: A philosophy thought

I'm willing to wager that you've seen many more beer mats than I have

RE: Avoiding Plagiarism

Quick tip: Don't try to plagiarise from the person you're addressing as something's bound to ring a bell.

RE: Movies that made you cry

Bambi

RE: girls- your bodies belong to you. donald rump and mike huckabee were never pregnant.

Ranting on, but when social liberals tell people to do whatever they want they are not being unfriendly to business and the !% by saying this. Removing all cultural barriers to commerce and trade, especially the barriers which preserve the community and the public good, is not in any way Left wing.

And ironically the only anti-capitalists are on the Right. Patriots and social conservatives are the only ones who propose barriers to trade(Trump's wall!)and have ideas which really scare Wall Street and the 1%.

RE: Arnold

Men don't really care how confident she is. If she's too nervous and shy to approach the opportunity might be missed but we wouldn't fancy her any the less. We decide within a few seconds based on how she looks.

But women do care how confident he is. If he's too nervous and shy to approach the missed opportunity wouldn't matter because she wouldn't fancy him anyway(all other things equal). She decides on how he behaves within that first few seconds.

Now it doesn't require any confidence to "approach" a woman online. Nonetheless the same habits apply, women are used to sitting back and being admired in real life and this carries over onto the internet.

RE: What do you think od Trump's immigration policy?

It's a great policy and Donald Trump shouldn't be allowed anywhere near it.

RE: Religion is great, just how it is used that is bad

The move was to rid the world of religion, superstition, and prejudice and in the process we created an apathetic, listless and nihilistic void that can be filled by anything from ISIS to the healing power of crystal skulls.

There is no foundation to our beliefs anymore and the caliphate is expanding because the centre cannot hold.

RE: The Consumers Prayer

Something of the variety is still there. Lidl offers a diverse array of crumbs off other peoples' tables. And Home Bargains has a wide range of weird and wonderful contraptions that you cannot believe ever entered mass production.

RE: Drama in your daily lives? Do u like it?

If people could tolerate boredom and didn't have a weak spot for drama they wouldn't be on these forums. Most are not here for deep and meaningless talk, none here are making real friends or romances, and so the only reason for being here is the vague hope that something might kick off.

If people didn't have a weakness for drama they wouldn't need round the clock entertainment because they'd be happy to be bored.

RE: Drama in your daily lives? Do u like it?

And the will-to-drama is all the fiercer where life is fancy and safe. In the past life was filled with greater dangers, but it was also austere and boring, and they appetite to create drama was less. But the generations of welfarism and easy money were those who fell in love with the soap opera and became fanatical about pop idols and their rollercoaster lifestyles.

Now that most people live the boring, safe and unemotive life of the bourgeoisie they go to extreme lengths to seek out or invent drama. Grandma and Grandad at my age were both well aware that they could both die tomorrow, and I'm sure that was enough drama for them hence why they married and stay married for 50 years without it ever getting dull.

RE: Drama in your daily lives? Do u like it?

You do realise that women feed on drama, envy, jealousy, petty power, and also bleed for 5 days a month?

Men who date attractive woman should acquire a taste for drama and the relationship as a roller coaster. Hot girls can do better than beta tranquility.

RE: a woman leader

I wouldn't support a woman leader and my mind is made up. She could kill a million Jews and it wouldn't make any difference.

RE: The Consumers Prayer

Consumerism is here to stay only with a lot more mouths to feed globally. It'll be a downmarket future and we'll fondly remember the good old days of Tesco when everywhere is a Lidl.

RE: Do you like average sized curvy women?

Yes to what a doctor or french person would call average. No to what a grossly overweight nation calls average.

RE: How to be happy?

Self-awareness, low confidence, and even fear will cease to exist if you drop enough IQ points. And all those dangerous and meaningless things will suddenly become appealing to you - drive drunk, jump off the roof, set your own farts on fire. There's no end to the fun to be had.

RE: How to be happy?

Massive head injury?

Knock 20-30 points of your IQ and I guarantee you happiness, or at least the ability to be easily impressed. The world is a much brighter place when you're dim.

RE: had an amazing date

You had a good time, didn't you? Stop complaining. Life's about the journey, not the destination.

RE: We are under invasion

And this is why we heard so much about the "squeezed" middle since the recession. We in the middle class were obese and now we're being slimmed down(I'm not - I warrant my income and my job is worthy - but you probably are)to make us competitive.

RE: We are under invasion

And where they've not become this wannabe middle class that indirectly survives on debt through phantom industry, then they're more like Detroit where drugs, dysfunction and alcohol rule and the people directly survive on welfare/debt. Unfortunately I come from a place which went the way of Detroit, but 20-30 years ago most of our working class split into dysfunctional Detroits or this fake middle class which plagues us all and tips the balance of society permanently into the red.

RE: what truly turns you off

Exactly. All bow before Obstinance your neo-colonial overlord. Would you like to be my asian concubine?

RE: what truly turns you off

I'm a faultfinder. Pose anything to me in the negative form and I'll have plenty to say about it. There's no shortage of things I don't like and the process of elimination is how I survive life. For example when I'm shopping for clothes I work out all the jumpers, jackets and shoes I don't like, throw them to the side, and then the couple of garments I'm indifferent to are the ones I wear.

RE: what truly turns you off

Wearing that same old ugly t-shirt with the stain on it you got from last year's company netball game.

RE: what truly turns you off

When she's your best friend's younger sister and shares many of the same mannerisms and uses the same turns of phrase as he does.

RE: Cloud Seeding and Drought, China's rain production against America ,,,

China is in a much worse environmental state, it can get anything done easier and cheaper, and it's Stalinist which never had any concern at all for mother nature(venture capitalism is hippy by comparison).

I expect America would only pull out the big guns if we get one of the worst ecological scenarios. Maybe disk shields in space to deflect the suns rays or altering the oceans to make the surface more reflective.
