Other than that, you've answered your own question. People have different opinions, even to the point of life threatening body dysmorphia.

You could have someone describe themselves as 'a few extra pounds', but turn out to weigh less than 70.

Why would anyone expect a physical description to fit their own private imagination, anyway?

For a long time I had my physical description set as 'curvy'.

I had a ridiculous number of mails from men just saying, "You're not curvy."

Wtf?

I think some men will nitpick, or pull you to shreds whatever you say.

I found out recently that I speak really quietly. Inside my own head I sound as loud as anything, but apparently not.

If there's no living record of it being sighted, I think perhaps it's unlikely to get hold of me.

Someone in the village once asked me identify an insect. From the description, I believe it was the very rare Great Green Bush Cricket.

He was frightened by it, so threw it into the river.

Is fear a good reason to contribute to, or cause extinction?

We are talking about god's creatures here Stringman, after all.

I voted for the right to treatment.

Nobody should be abandoned in their hour of need, even if all that can be provided is palliative care.

Nobody would vote otherwise if they were seeing a loved one suffering, so why should it be different if we don't know someone?

Nah, it's important to grieve and it's healthy.

Allow yourself the time to do that and you'll get through it, without it cropping up in the future all entangled with other stuff.

You might find it useful to look at a Change (Grief Cycle) Graph and see where you're at and where you're heading. It's not intended to be perfectly linear and you might go back and forth before moving on, but it kind of demonstrates that you're going through the process healthily and 'normally', just as we all do if we allow ourselves.
