RE: Call This Madness But....!!

Europe is the place I make my home, having lived in the Middle East, the US but Europe is where I will come home to. Host families are common and I know they have them in the US, as my friend's son is at school in Colorado and he lives with a host family.

Well come on over, it is wonderful and certainly there are many places you could visit and hopefully find a person who wants to put you up. A suggestion, maybe a few days here and there, rather than just one place...

RE: How would you feel if the man you had been dating told you he was bi?

Yes SC, I know you are.

I guess we see it differently.

RE: Call This Madness But....!!

Yes, the trust thing rears it's head again and again...

I often think this when a person runs a hotel or a bed and breakfast as many places do here in Austria, they open up their homes and allow strangers in and usually it is their private homes as the houses are large enough to do this.

They trust, very much the honour system in place here and their are few stories of people not being successful at this.

Where are you looking to go? Europe?

RE: How would you feel if the man you had been dating told you he was bi?

No, Morgan there is no apology necessary from you.

It is I who must apologise. I misunderstood your post.

RE: How would you feel if the man you had been dating told you he was bi?

I too thought it was a valid question and I received a lovely email from the poster, who admidst his attacks was gentlemanly and kind. Never once bitter and just superb in his manner and his approach on this thread where he was completely attacked, told he was disgusting, to go put a shirt on and two men who could not handle the openmindness of a man much younger than them.

Something that sits very heavily with me, when a person is attacked like that.

RE: How would you feel if the man you had been dating told you he was bi?

Yes they do Krisha.

And some people love to come and tell people they are attacking people when they are not.

There is a difference between a personal attack and an exploring of a post.

Problem is here, people are lacking in the skills of debating and confuse attacks with debate and accusations.

RE: How would you feel if the man you had been dating told you he was bi?

Hi Morgan.

Yes, it is very wrong.

Have you seen page one of this thread? Where posters assumed the OP was gay? Where he was told to put a shirt on? Where he was attacked meaninglessly?

That is completley wrong. I completely agree.

A personal attack is when it is directed at a person, as the OP has suffered.

We all make judgements when we see a thread. The above post you are referring to is not an attack it is a question to a poster who has stated her opinion.

Not an attack on her.

RE: How would you feel if the man you had been dating told you he was bi?

Hi somechick.

But who is upfront at the start? It is so hard to tell all about us before we enter a relationship.

We are more fixated on honesty than love these days.

RE: Your Next Holiday Destination...Where is it??

You've done it now.

Maybe there might be a love affair happen because of this thread.

I am going to see nchurch in Florida as I am there in less than 48 hours...

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

Oh get a grip will you.

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

5TH December 2008.

RE: Call This Madness But....!!

Actually, we used to do this as kids at my boarding school. Students who were taking a year off would stick notices up on the notice board and families would take them in.

I don't think it is mad at all, I think people will distrust your motives simply because of the distrust they have around the 'online' aspect.

I hope you find a home for your ten days holiday.

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

What on here?

Or face to face?

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

tongue

Back at ya darling.

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

Hi jlb.

It has yes.

Thank you for your kind comments. It has been a great eight months. Some people thought at one point that I was him and I had two profiles, to make poor little Sommer feel better.

So while we never posted after the initial meeting, it has been ongoing and as any relationship runs concurrently alongside our lives.

Now I have three months off work, I can concentrate on my relationship.

Lovely to see you as always.

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

I've no idea who PVV is, Cris?

grin

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

Oh don't even go there.

We have been for eight months.

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

I feel like all people have just realised.

This has been going on for eight months folks.

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

Messy.

RE: In thirteen more days I will see my loved one again

What does this say?

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

Good place my great grandparents stayed away from Croatia then. I don't think there is much danger there for us, is there?

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

Tell me.

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

They were met with some hostility at first, concerns about any children that they might have.

But no, in the end it all worked out. They had the same grandparents.

So my Grandfather's brother's son married his cousin who was daughter of his Uncle.

Basically, my father's Uncle's son married the daughter of his Uncle.

Ja?

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

No.

I was waiting for that!

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

Plus, the English Royal Family.

How many crossed bloodlines are in there?

The Queen and Prince Philip have the same great grandmother.

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

In my father's family, we have first cousins who married each other.

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

You are a bad girl.

RE: Are you... jealous????

Hi Morgan.

I saw the opening question and saw the last few pages.

I could see that it had turned into a gender match.

RE: Have you ever dated two/more members of the same family?

Oh blimey Cris, this should be good.

My answer is no.

RE: Are you... jealous????

Indeed.
