RE: Re: serenes randoms

Wish my ex-husband wouldn't be so chatty lately and casually tell me what a fortune he is earning now...Perhaps he might like to pay for 16yrs worth of unpaid child maintenance. Nah....He's now a solicitor - who knows what I might be beholden for.uh oh

RE: Re: serenes randoms

Yes, I know. Would rather see him bring out his new range of (male) lingerie.grin

RE: Octomom

I guess it could be described as a production line, so industrial seems apt.laugh

RE: The latest pearls of wisdom from the Catholic Church

RE: The latest pearls of wisdom from the Catholic Church

I prefer to focus on the upside of the latest bloops on the face of the Catholic Church...and that's the one about the Catholic priest who revealed he had been secretly married, I think for about a year(?).
This could open up the flood gates for all these eligible men, all of whom are highly intelligent(minus the few who like little boys!).
cheering

Now I'm wondering why priests don't all go on strike to win their right to get married.( No different from most other men who are married to their job!!)...besides, the bishops are hardly going to replace them...with who? An Islamic cleric??laugh laugh

RE: what do you want to say ?

Don't you just love the continuity of dialogue here on the EU's?

I could hop on a plane, travel for 30+ hours for Aussie land, then more travelling when I get there, settle in to where I'm going, be there for a week or so...

...........

And still no new posts on any of these threads.

RE: Would YoU date someone

Well, my son will be 27 later this year. While I get on well with his friends of same age, as for dating that age group, I couldn't imagine why it would enter into anyone's head to start with uh oh

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

Singleagain50

It borders on the criminal, bringing children into the world and then take no responsibility for them, leaving them to grow up as a wild child.

You might be right there. For someone who had such a good premonition about the lotto numbers, she was way off target with her husband's behaviour.frustrated

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

No intention of challenging you on anything.

I cannot comment on what you do in your job or the circumstances of the clients of the organisation you work for.

I write only on what I know to be correct. As for buckets of money, many abound. Quite obviously.

As a newly wed, what would you do if...

I think she might be doing a bit of it for him.laugh

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

In the spirit of correct information:

Short term courses as per above are paid out of another bucket.

The person who is registered with a Jobseeking organisation and with Centrelink, is identified as requiring a short term training course(s) as part of their speicific return to work program, then this is paid for through that bucket, not any Centrelink advance.

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

I've said many times on here, that I never take this sort of thing personally and I don't. Blizzard is most welcome to have his say anytime.
We all are.

RE: Deadly Hotspots

If you're in Australia, one person dies every 8 hours of brain cancer.

Straight from a brain surgeon's mouth...so there you are. One more to your list.dancing

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

heaven forbid. Taxi licenses are bad enough.

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

Not a matter about my being right. I'm just quoting what resources are available.

And yes, applying for a truck license happens to be popular, along with security and forklift, as these are in demand with various employers.
So are kitchen hand certificate and Cert.III in Child Care/Aged Care/Community Services.

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

It's not the least bit illegal, as it is regarded as steady income from a reliable source.

RE: Single parents to be forced to work....

or training in getting a security licence, or forklift driving, even a truck driver's license and so on.
