RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

I don't believe I have ever once quoted any of those individuals, Dude.

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

It looks like the UN is at it again. You would think with all the taxes coming down the pike to pay for Obamacare and our huge deficit, we would finally tell the UN and it's Agenda 21 to go pound sand.

"A 1 percent tax on billionaires around the world. A tax on all currency trading in the U.S. dollar, the euro, the Japanese yen and the British pound sterling. Another “tiny” tax on all financial transactions, including stock and bond trading, and trading in financial derivatives. New taxes on carbon emissions and on airline tickets. A royalty on all undersea mineral resources extracted more than 100 miles offshore of any nation’s territory."

And just WHERE does all the money disappear to???
dunno

RE: Would you date someone who is unemployed??

We have a TON of unemployed people over here right now and it's through no fault of their own. I think it would depend on the circumstances. In my age range, I would be less inclined to date someone if they have not built up any savings by now. Not because of the money itself, but because it tells me that the person probably has not made good choices throughout their life. The amount of money a person makes isn't nearly as important as what they choose to do with it. Living beyond your means is just not something I would be interested in. I've saved all my life even when I was dead broke and it wasn't easy - and I've always lived on a budget...I wouldn't be happy with someone who doesn't have the same discpline.

RE: 'Vote 2012'...What Should The Focus Be?

Oops. I agree it's jobs - but good jobs; not "shovel ready" crap jobs that will evaporate in three years. Get our corporations back up and running and the rest will take care of itself. More people paying into the tax system + less people taking unemployment + higher GDP = instant deficit reduction.thumbs up

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

From Judge Napolitano...

"Is it any wonder that our embassy in Cairo has been attacked and our folks who work and live there are threatened every day? Should the president alone be able to help depose a foreign leader without the consensus of the American people or their elected representatives in Congress? Did the president’s miscalculations take into account that it might be better to leave in place the devil you know instead of inviting the devil you don’t know to replace him? Did he consider that the leader of Egypt is for the Egyptians -- and not the American government -- to decide?

The case of Libya is even worse. There, Obama unlawfully, deceptively and unconstitutionally bombed Libya in an effort either to kill Col. Qaddafi, its former strongman and American ally, or to weaken his defenses until he surrendered. It was unlawful because he used the CIA to fight a war. It was deceptive because he lied about no boots on the ground (“boots” referring to troops, rather than intelligence agents with military hardware). It was unconstitutional because under the Constitution, only Congress may declare war on another country. This was an act of war on a legitimate government, one that then-President George W. Bush and then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair praised a few years earlier as a partner in the war against terror, and one that posed no threat whatsoever to American freedom."

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

Here's more evidence that the current "SKEWED" Election Polls are indeed not to be trusted...

LOOKS LIKE DEMOCRATIC VOTER REGISTRATION IS WAAAAY DOWN

A half a million less registered Democrats in Ohio alone, and it's a trend reflected in just about all the states. The current polls have RADICALLY oversampled the democrats this year making the poll results very inaccurate.

"Voter registration in the Buckeye State is down by 490,000 people from 4 years ago. Of that reduction,. 44 percent is in Cleveland and surrounding Cuyahoga County, where Democrats outnumber Republicans more than two to one.

"I think what we're seeing is a lot of spin and hype on the part of the Obama campaign to try to make it appear that they're going to cruise to victory in Ohio," Cuyahoga County Republican Chairman Rob Frost said. "It's not just Cuyahoga County. Nearly 350,000 of those voters are the decrease in the rolls in the three largest counties, Cuyahoga, Hamilton and Franklin."

Ohio is not alone. An August study by the left-leaning think tank Third Way showed that the Democratic voter registration decline in eight key swing states outnumbered the Republican decline by a 10-to-one ratio. In Florida, Democratic registration is down 4.9 percent, in Iowa down 9.5 percent. And in New Hampshire, it's down down 19.7 percent.

Don't be surprised when Obama loses...

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

Now everyone knows the golden retriever belongs on the roof of the Romney station-wagon..]

I thought that was a classic "gotcha" moment. Obama's team tries to villianize Romney for putting his dog in a crate on the car - only to have it slip out that Obama ate dogs as a child. laugh doh laugh

Then they try to make a big deal about the Mormon religion and pologamy, only to find out that Obama's father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all polygamists. laugh doh laugh

RE: Very Important... Before you VOTE in November...

Speaking of which...here's one I'll be interested to see if the liberal media covers... and a key fact to supporting the premise that the polls are extremely SKEWED.

Frost points out that those three counties all contain urban centers, where the largest Democrat vote traditionally has been.

"It's understandable that enthusiasm is going to wane a little bit from that historic moment (in 2008)," says Michelle Diggles, the study co-author and senior policy adviser for Third Way. "You can only elect the first African-American president of this country once

RE: Very Important... Before you VOTE in November...

Nah. I don't believe that Ooby. It's too hard to find anyone who still supports Obama. Seriously, my town is primarily registered democrats, but wherever I go people are talking about Obama - and it isn't good. I think a whole bunch of this is the Soros media desperately trying to paint a rosey picture.

What I don't understand is how you can be working the stock market and obviously trying to plan for retirement, and still support someone who's just cut your income in half with all this quantative easing. Don't you know it is just outright theft of YOUR money? Any gains you've made in the market or anywhere else will be completely nullified through the coming inflation. So why support more of this? dunno

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

Better to be born with a silver soon in your mouth than a golden retriever. tongue

"Poor Harry Reid has truly lost his last surviving brain cell and tells Huffington Post that it might or might not be true but he heard that Mitt Romney didn't pay taxes for 10 years.

Fortune calls out Reid, in their headline, for his "BS."

Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) made political waves today by claiming that a Bain Capital investor told him that Mitt Romney didn't pay any taxes for a 10-year period.

ABC News calls it "wild speculation" but liberals and the liberal media are repeating the rumor as if it is gospel.

This instantly brings to mind reports claiming Democrats were starting to panic over Obama's reelection prospects, panic over Romney's outraising Obama for campaign donation, and panic about "paving the road for a Romney administration," as a DSCC message declares.

Barack Obama, Democrats and liberals have been throwing everything, including the kitchen, sink at Mitt Romney and nothing is working. They have implied Romney is a felon with not even a hint of any investigation against him, they have attacked Romney's business experience because to liberals making money and being successful is some kind of crime, they have attacked his wife, his religion, his term at Bain, and last but not least, one liberal bimbo actually attacked his underwear.

Reid's latest rumor-mongering is further proof that Democrats are truly in panic mode because the two issues Americans are the most concerned about, jobs and the economy, are the two issues that are driving voters from Obama to Romney.

The lengths Obama, Reid, liberals, and far left Democrats are going to in order to avoid addressing Obama's economic failures is giving a whole new meaning to the word pathetic

RE: Opaque transparency the O Admin lies

Well he certainly hasn't been transparent about "Bengazi-Gate" and it's creating a bi-partisan uproar...

"Fresh claims that U.S. intelligence officials knew practically from the start that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was terrorism possibly tied to Al Qaeda have lawmakers alleging they were misled and questioning whether the administration has something to hide.

"This is turning into something not short of Benghazi-gate," Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., told Fox News, adding he's "very suspicious" about the way the administration has handled this.

Two senior U.S. officials told Fox News on Thursday that U.S. intelligence officials knew within 24 hours of the assault that it was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved.

The account sharply conflicted with claims by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice on the Sunday after the attack that the administration believed the strike was a "spontaneous" event triggered by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islam film.

Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, a member of the House intelligence committee, said that's consistent with what lawmakers were told in briefings.

"If there was information a day after that was to the contrary, I think Congress was misled," Thornberry told Fox News. "But again, it's even more serious than that. It means that we have a real problem in not being able to face up to the national security challenges our country faces."

Corker also said a briefing he and his colleagues received was "worthless," and he demanded "answers" about the changing story.

"This has now turned into a very bipartisan concern," he said. "There has to be something that they're trying to hide or cover up. ... This is just not the norm. This is way out of the norm, what is happening in this case."

He may not have been perfect, but he had so much more class...sigh

RE: Obama or Romney for President: simple vote here. one vote only. ;-}

Liberal pollsters and the Soros Media are doing everything in their power to control this election and part of that is using 2008 data NOT 2010 data (which they have actually admitted). There is a BIG difference in the outcome if you use the 2010 numbers.

RE: Obama or Romney for President: simple vote here. one vote only. ;-}

Uh...Have you ever googled "Unskewed Polls?" The results are radically different when you use the correct methodology.

RE: Very Important... Before you VOTE in November...

And Obama has based his entire campaign on destroying Romney because he doesn't have anything to run on after three years of failure. It wouldn't be all that bad if he didn't keep getting caught in lies....but this is our American president? Lying over and over again? Yuk. thumbs down

Joe Conason? You MUST be kidding me! That article is pure tripe written by a Village Voice flunky with a big-labor chip on his shoulder. No facts, and I wouldn't trust anything out of Joe Conason's typewriter.

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

And about those Soros media........

"Mitch McConnell attacked the Department of Justice for using its Office of Public Affairs to collude with left-wing advocacy organization Media Matters for America on Wednesday.

“The leader has said that the best way to address these types of actions is to change the administration,” McConnell spokesman Don Stewart told The Daily Caller. “And the bottom line is this: If the Justice Department had spent as much time getting to the bottom of Fast & Furious as it has on this, it wouldn’t have taken so long to start getting some real answers.”

McConnell has been an outspoken critic of political groups like Media Matters operating under tax-exempt statuses.(Why IS Media Matters tax exampt???)

Last week, TheDC published a series of emails, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, that show Department of Justice Office of Public Affairs Director Tracy Schmaler and Media Matters staffers working together on posts that attack reporters covering DOJ scandals, as well as other administration critics.

House oversight committee Chairman Rep. Darrell Issa said the email evidence laying out the targets resemble former President Richard Nixon’s “enemies list.”

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

They didn't want to say because that would be an admission that it wasn't some stinky video but rather, Obama's middle east policy and the fact that he's aggravated the situation over there by bragging about Bin Laden every chance he gets. That's why they were chanting "Obama, Obama We are all Osama's" and burning HIS effigy in the streets.

He's failed in every way but the one last thing he had to hold onto in this election was his Mid-east policy. It would have been too much of an embarrassment to admit he sux at that, too.

But to let good men die???? Innocent men??? To leave them out there with ZERO protection because he didn't want to admit they still hate us?

What was he thinking?

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

Obama Expenses Cost Tax Payers $1.4 Billion!

Kyle Becker September 27, 2012 10:29 am

A shocking revelation from a new book slates the Obama family’s cost to the American taxpayers at $1.4 billion. The figure takes into account non-official staffing, housing, travel, entertainment, and paying for Obama’s re-election...

Between the jet-setting on Air Force One, the gas-guzzling Beast, more rounds of golf in a year than was played by Jack Nicklaus, and deluxe accommodations at five star palaces that would make the British Royal Family jealous, we are talking about some serious skin in the game to pay for the perquisites of the food stamp president.

While 80% of the country thinks poverty in this country is “somewhat severe,” we have a former community organizer leading a lifestyle of the rich and famous that would make Robin Leach blush, skipping out on jobs council meetings for months and more than half of intelligence briefings, clubbing it up and sipping Courvoisier with Beyonce and Jay-Z while the Middle East burns, and guffawing on late night shows with has-been comedians.

But hey, impending nuclear apocalypse in Israel, anti-American Islamism on the rise, disappointing economic numbers for the gazillionth month in a row, ticking time bomb national debt, Taxmageddon, skyrocketing energy costs, rising food bills, and an Obamacare bill three times cost estimates, what’s not to support for a second Obama term?

The guy is some mean “eye candy.”

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

Here's the mentality of an Obama voter...

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

The problem is that if government agencies cannot or will not pay their taxes, something is going on. Who in the world would "suspend" the investigations and then brush it under the rug.

You know, Romney supported auditing the Fed while Obama and his henchmen dragged their feet kicking and screaming. Why? Well, I guess they didn't want anybody knowing that Obama and the Fed quietly sent $16 trillion newly printed stimulus dollars to bail out other countries, banks and corporations.

And you know what the worst part of all these inexcusable and irresponsible money games is? Every damn time the Feds print more money to prop Obama up, they are stealing from us by devaluing the dollar and then raking in more taxes. Our money remians stagnant or maybe we get a tiny boost from the stock market - but the dollar is now worth LESS than it was, so inflation sky-rockets and we little peons all go broke.

This joke of a president doesn't care ONE BIT for the average Joe. It's all about him and his big government/corporate cronies.
'
And all the little lemmings just fall all over him. doh

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

Hey Dude,

Guess who is one of the biggest Tax Dead Beats under Obama? The Federal Government. Here we are with Social Security underfunded by a massive $17 trillion, and combined with all the Medicare parts, a total of $100 trillion dollars....and the not only is Obama unwilling to tackle the problem, but his own agencies aren't paying their "FAIR SHARE."

"WASHINGTON (AP) — If the IRS really wants to find tax scofflaws, it should look at the federal government.

That's right — the federal government owes about $14 million in unpaid taxes. A Treasury Department watchdog office says that 70 federal agencies owed taxes at the end of last year.

Federal agencies are exempt from paying federal income taxes, but they are responsible for turning over employment taxes, mainly Social Security and Medicare taxes, that their employees must pay.

The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration says 40 of these delinquent tax accounts totaling about $2.6 million were still open three years after being identified. In 80 percent of those cases, the investigations had been suspended

What is this? Do as I say not do as I do?

Obama is a crook.

RE: Who is going to win the american presidential election in November? Obama or Romney?

I don't know if you saw my earlier post to you, so here it is again. I would genuinely like to hear your answer to the question at the bottom. No snarkiness, I promise. I just don't understand why you would support this guy so maybe you can tell me.

Unemployment is over 8 percent.

$16 trillion and climbing despite his promise to cut the debt in half.

No budget has been passed during his term.

A new entitlement passed that is now forecasted to cost more than $1.7 trillion during the next 10 years, plus new reports daily of the miscalculation of costs which double and sometimes triple initial projections. And we STILL don't know "What's in it."

46 million people are receiving food stamps.

More people living in poverty since 2008

An 8.2% decrease in the net worth of almost all Americans SINCE HE TOOK OFFICE.

No plan submitted to save Social Security or Medicare other than to gur Medicare to help pay for Obamacare - which is still woefully underfunded.

Handing Obamacare "exemptions" to 160 of his closest union buddies, congress, and various corporate buddies.

14 million people are projected to lose their employer-sponsored health care.

Gas prices are approaching $4 a gallon.

College tuition is up over 8 percent in 2011.

Foreign policy that has created a Middle East crisis and puts the United States at risk.

$26 billion IOU to taxpayers from General Motors, that will likely never be paid.

National Credit Rating downgraded for the first time in history, not once but TWICE

Freedom rating downgraded multiple points

Misery Index Higher

Complete misuse of stimulus funds (90 percent of Bush's stimulus funds have been repaid. Only 10 percent of Obama's - PLUS he did not use the funds for purposes outlined in the TARP bill).

Now it's your turn..... What has he done that's improved anything?
