I think it would be perfectly reasonable for any country to extend offers, loans or any initiatives WITH simple requirements demanded in return. We don't loan money to consumers without getting something in writing. It makes no sense NOT to.

Dude, the American people understand that a full recovery isn't going to happen over night. We would have just been happy with a little recovery...ANY recovery. But all we have to show for three an a half years is worse conditions in virtually every sector of our country. Instead of recovery, all we have to show is a downgrade.

I would FAR prefer the "blood money" of a successful businessman over the UNHOLY ALLIANCE unions and the democratic party - ESPECIALLY government unions as that is an incredible conflict of interest. Imagine taking our tax dollars to fund government jobs and then seeing that money funnelled into union dues that - like it or not - go straight into the pockets of democrats. In exchange, democrats vote them in extreme salary and benefit packages along with air-tight job security (regardless of your performance)...again all at the tax payer's expense.
The good news is that I truly believe Romney and Ryan are sincere and that they have the skills to deliver.
Romney, in particular, has no reason or need to run for president other than wanting to fix our country for his children and ours. He HAS his screw-you money, he doesn't need to further his career or gain power. Really, if you aren't in it for money or power, you have to be truly dedicated since it's probably the worst job in the world!
Nooo! I didn't say companies needed to go overseas! I totally disagree with that also! What I said was that AS LONG as companies continue to go overseas.....
We need to stop providing huge incentives for foreign students to come to our schools. AND we need to do away with letting colleges like Harvard accept foreign money in exchange for control of what is being taught (Saudi Arabia is now running Harvard's middle eastern studies thanks to a VERY large endowment). As long as we allow foreign interests to control our education, we are doomed.
The point is that Obama is a completely empty suit with no background whatsoever. He sprang up out of nowhere, carefully groomed and propped up by his handlers. His background has been covered up so completely that nobody knows him at all. We only have a few scant publications to go on and all they show is that he launched his career in the home of a unrepetentant terrorist, he was not, in fact, the consitiutional law professor he claimed to be, for 20 years he followed a minister who preached his radical hatred of America, he has a wife who only came to love this country after he won the nomination, he had very shady business dealings with his buddy Tony, and two years in the Senate voting "present."
All we REALLY know about Obama is from his last three years in office. And when you look at the real, tangible things he has done since assuming the power, virtually every action he has made has served to weaken America.

Well it's certainly true that not everyone needs to go to college - but it's very important that they should have the opportunity and NOT be told where to go by the government or anyone else.
There may be more technical jobs available than other less specific jobs, particularly since that is the direction our wole world is headed. But the fact remains that as long as companies can't expand or continue to go overseas, there will be less jobs across the board - and certainly the salaries and benefits are less competitive.
Also, by releasing the news on the very same evening made all the information they had siezed from the raid useless and therefore, devalued the intelligence. It also gave time for every other Al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole.

It was Obama who threatened lives when he could not wait to crow from the rooftops about bin Laden. In doing so, he put the area military in critical danger and prevented them from being able to gather more information while the element of surprise was still on their side.
You are full of contradictions, Dude. It is Obama who says he saved the car industry when all he did was save the UAW. Their pensions may be secure, but only because Obama took billions of taxpayer dollars and threw it at them. We will probably never get paid back, but that's ok, right? Becuuse the union got it's fat payday and that's all that counts.
As for vipGOP types having "friends" like the "intelligent and civilised Gentleman" Obama.... How many people have come forward and said, "I've known Obama all my life," or I know Obama through business dealings," or, "I knew Obama in college?"
And in the most pitiful attempt yet, Obama is now claiming that if he wins re-election the "stalemate" in congress will end because republicans will give up.
How swiftly he forgets the "shellacking" that occurred in 2010 when the AMERICAN PEOPLE threw his low-life congress out of office because of the job they were doing.
How interesting that he isn't even trying to get re-elected on his past record. It's all about blaming the other guy.
And speaking of clear...another thing that struck me during the last two conventions was how much more we already know about Romney and Ryan personally. They have bonified backgrounds with little mystery. You hear from their friends, their family, their college days...whatever. Following Romney's speech last night, the platform was LOADED with his children and grandchildren, Ryan's children, etc. It's easy to see why someone like Romney might sincerely care about the future we leave to our children.
All we really know about Obama beyond his wife and children is that he has a smattering of relatives either living here illegally or living in remote regions of other countries. His entire college life and really most of his young life is shrouded in evasion and mystery. The only real things we know is that he has a documented history of friendships and associations with people who despise this country. I can't help but be suspicious. Does ANYONE really know him?
You know, Rumpy...I spent many years in public relations where I often wrote speeches and then coached the person on making speeches. When I listened to Ryan's delivery the other night, all I could think of was that is was just about the best piece of work I've seen in my lifetime. He was very direct, sometimes funny, he never missed a step. He was the most relaxed of them all and held the entire audience's attention throughout the entire speech. He an Condi Rice, in my opinion, were the two best speakers of the entire convention.

With that said - I would also admit that I was personally embarrassed and very unhappy with the remarks from Tim Pawlenty. It seemed to me that he not only offered nothing of substance in his remarks, but also felt his job was merely to belittle the president with terrible jokes that were unnecessary and unkind. It was like some awful slapstick comedy routine that wasn't even funny.
After three and a half years of the Obama/Biden team sneaking around making back room deals, whine, complain, brag, lecture, evade, waste money and blame all our troubles on everything but the kitchen sink, it is simply refreshing to see a new team that actually WANTS to return America to it's original greatness with integrity and good, old-fashioned professionalism.
Obama can keep his change, since he's the only one who has any change left.
