Sites that promote twisted facts such as Fox news do a huge disservice to the US , it means that so many are ignorant of the real truth, and so increase the widespread belief that lies are not lies.
For example, the extreme always criticises a factual source, while supporting their own non-factual source, they fail to have the ability to even question facts.
I can post lies by Trump, but the ignorant just accuse me of lying, the intelligent would check the lies and show if they were false, using credible sources.
Fox news plays on this trait, and so the cycle continues.
"North Korea has increased production of fuel for nuclear weapons at a number of secret sites in recent months, according to US intelligence.
Agencies believe the rogue state may try to hide its activities while seeking concessions in nuclear talks with the United States, NBC News quoted officials as saying.
It comes just weeks after Donald Trump said North Korea was no longer a nuclear threat following his meeting with Kim Jong Un in Singapore." Perhaps now the international community will admit just how badly it underestimated Kim Jong Un.
When the almost unknown young man ascended the throne of North Korea in 2011, his hair awkwardly styled to resemble his grandfather's, he was laughed at and some wondered how long he would last.
The patronising grins started to fade when the senior officials that Mr Kim had inherited from his father began to disappear and were replaced by younger men close to the new leader. They faded further when he began to test missiles. By the time he had had both his uncle and his half-brother killed and had detonated a hydrogen bomb, the grins had vanished completely.
Mr Kim was no child king but a ruthless and brutally effective ruler in the toughest North Korean tradition.
But there is another side to him. People who have met Mr Kim describe a smiling, affable man, devoted to his family, with a ready laugh and a ready wit. He is very different from his reclusive father, who disliked making speeches or appearing in public - releasing written messages instead of delivering a traditional New Year's Day speech.
Kim Jong Un not only reinstated the tradition of a direct address to his people but started to appear in person at political meetings and to make speeches there too.
He seems to enjoy public events. The Chinese, whose leaders have now spent many hours with him, say too that he thinks strategically, that when he speaks he is always crisp and to the point, and that he is well informed and reads his briefs carefully. They also say that he is careful to put people at their ease and that, leader though he is, he is always careful to show deference to older men.
It is now also clear that he is very clever, or at least is prepared to listen to sound advice. Both in the run-up to Tuesday's summit and at the summit itself, he comprehensively out-manoeuvred Donald Trump.
Mr Kim has walked away with the cherished prize of the first-ever meeting between a North Korean leader and a serving US president without having to concede more than a ritual repetition of North Korea's commitment to the complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula. Did Mr Trump realise that this formula was first used in 1992 and has had no effect at all on North Korea's determination to develop missiles and nuclear weapons?
At the summit, having arrived slightly early to show deference to a US president nearly twice his age (Asians will have noticed this courtesy), he exuded power through a calm stillness that contrasted sharply with Mr Trump, who sometimes seemed anxious to hurry proceedings on. His remark that some might think that the summit was like a scene from a science fiction film showed a wit and a wry detachment that we rarely see from Mr Trump The curious delay between the working lunch and the signature of the joint statement, and the delay in the circulation of the statement afterwards, suggest that Mr Kim had engineered last-minute changes to the document, catching the Americans off guard and leveraging the knowledge that Mr Trump wanted a document much more than he did.
Then, after the summit, Mr Kim simply left - leaving the president to face the media.
Mr Trump repeatedly told journalists what he thought Chairman Kim wanted or would do. In effect, Kim Jong Un had recruited the president of the United States as his press spokesman.
Wow, bad analogy, as everyone involved in motorsport will tell you that the best and fastest drivers are those with a sound mechanical background
Give me 20 million and I could make it billions too, doesn't make me a good leader though. Good leaders get respect from their employees, something Trump never achieved, especially when screwing them over wages etc.
To me part of being a good leader is having those who work for you being loyal, Trump buys loyalty, whereas other top businessmen earn loyalty. A huge difference IMO.
You really should READ, before trying to make sarcastic comments Con, because I never agreed nor posted that Obama was right in his selection or indeed any other predecessors. I actually stated very very clearly, but obviously way over your head, that these selections should be a-political and not selected for their political bias.
If he was a good leader, maybe, I dislike Mark Zuckerberg and what he stands for, but he learnt different languages to help build his business. He is a good leader, even if he is involved with sloppy media products. And I am sure Trump can afford good interpreters so not sure the point you are making.
Trump has never been a successful businessman, unless he employed a specialist to do the job for him. Trump tried and failed to run a casino, he couldn't even make money on that venture, but when he handed over to those with business savvy they turned it around. Sorry will never agree that Trump is a good leader or businessman, the only thing trump does is sell the name "trump", which his father built up and is fast becoming associated with stupidity.
Yet again you attack the poster and not the posts.
Please detail exactly what Trump has achieved in NK, as from international news reports, he gained nothing, everything he claims is new has been done previously, and according to the press released this week, work has restarted on Kim's nuclear weapon silos, and that work is construction, not destruction. There is no written agreement on a final date for nuclear disarmament, and until that happens it is all up in the air.
As for helping the free world, so far he has alienated Americas closest and most loyal allies, while cosying up with dictators. But I guess that can be seen as a great step forward.
Really? Trump couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery His empire is all about money not his leadership, he employs other to run his businesses. Every time he actually tries to take control that business fain, becomes bankrupt and leaves hundreds if not thousands out of pocket. Just read about Trumps failures and you can see the pattern. You give way too much credence for his abilities. It was a huge mistake Ginsberg made in not retiring, I agree, I posted "why" she made the mistake, I see both sides of the coin, you underestimate me. As for Obama getting his choice, it would have been near impossible, you think the Democrats can stop Trumps selecting a far right wing Judge? They can try but unless they can get some Republicans (believe they need at least 3) on their side it is a done deal, in Obama's case the odds were far higher against him. It was all bad timing really.
That is just being facetious, a real leader would look for a non political or centre line candidate. But as we all know, Trump is never going to become a real leader
Not really. I read a lot, especially those who are non political economists, I also have some close connections that give other information. Added together, I tend to get a very middle of the road view on World politics, not perfect, but way better than the rubbish posted on these forums, by both political wings.
It was her decision, based on the political climate during Obama's Presidency, she was concerned that Obama may have been forced to replace her with a far right wing judge rather than one with common sense and a-political. With the majority being far right extremists, it will give way to Trump getting his way, whatever that may be.
The Judiciary should not be politically biased, but over time it has become so, and the laws are twisted to fall in line with political agendas, rather than viewed on their legal standing.
A sad time for the USA and the world in General. IMO.
My first ex-was and still is an excellent cook, when I visit the UK I usually drop round for a coffee and some of her homemade cake. She is also a highly intelligent South African with an extremly high academic achievement, thankfully passed on to our children.
I guess honesty hurts, I will try to lie next time. Playing the victim so you can divert away from answering the questions, maybe not so stupid after all.
If I understood your post I maybe could reply, but where in my post did I mention anyone being forced into anything? You have a really bad habit of twisting other peoples posts to fall in line with whichever argument you are supporting that week.
The sooner mankind across the world is one colour the better. The rhetoric espoused on some threads would suggest that will be the only way for world peace.
I started going bald on top at 30, have very little on top now, but still at the back and sides, never bothered me. I believe baldness is hereditary, or at least in my family from my Great grandfather to my sons.
