i worked with children with dylexia on a one to one tutoring sessions and played this type of music while the sesion was going on. and it really helped them progress.

i also used essential oils of basil in an water burner. that also helps sharpen the mind.

Taking a cretin back is because she doesn't have the confidence that she can do better or deserves better. The cycle of abuse begins slowly until it chips away at her reserve. Really nice article. LDR do work if you want them too. It is a bit of challenge and dedication, however if both persons want the same thing they have to be some commitment. You never know where you can find love it does have any boundaries or racial barriers.

I met a really nice guy from a LDR and we are doing exactly what your article said. we send email to each other each day. I still have my social life. We came with an emergency number for each other in case we don't see each other, like an accident or business trip, no internet access. So i will advice anyone to go for it.

I had a friend met a guy in Italy LDR now they are married and he live here in our country really lovely story. So good luck to everyone.

I'm a man,I have a female for a friend.We have been friends for many years.We go places together,we visit mutual friends together.Members of my family and some friends,think,since we are together a lot,we are a PAIR.If one of us mention,maybe going out with someone,we get the reaction,why would you want to do that,I thought you two were,and so on and so on.We know what the other is thinking,we know each others tastes in things,but,we have NEVER crossed the boundaries,after about 15 years.

Good question. One I get often. It really cannot happen long term. The reason is, that in moments of weakness or vulnerabilty which we all have at times, we tend to turn to that person we know....then the relationship always turns south. Yes it is impossible. And their are studies to prove it. Like the NASA study, where the woman became so jealous she drove all the way to Florida in a adult dipear to get her revenge.

However, if you already made up your mind..then their is a school of hard knocks..good teacher but painful..lol.

Yes they can but they both must be of the understanding it is friends, and I am not talking friend with benefits. I am good friends with 2 guys I dated both around 3 yrs. We stayed friends, but I will say we decided to not talk for a few months after calling it quits. We do lots of fun stuff together that we shared in common while dating. I believe each need to take a break from each other for awhile though. I have men friends who I have never dated, some are single and some are married. THe married ones I have known for years and am also friend with their wives and know most of the family.
In any relationship in life trust and honesty are the mainstays! Without either you have nothing. But that is just my opinion.

It is so true that a man can be just a friend. I had moved to a small place of 16000 population and knew no one. I seen this man on another site from this same town, so i contacted him and asked if we could just be friends as i was new there. That was 3 yr's ago and he is my best friend today. We have a lot of long talk's. My opinion is that men make the best friend's...they know how to keep a secret.

What you say about ladies ending a relationship with:"I don't want to blablabla...' goes for the men also!

In my personal life I have met quite a few guys unable to express their feelings. I mean negative or positive ones.

And what you call integrity is what I call sincerity. Sincerity towards oneself first and foremost. That ability to set back and listen to the "feelings inside of you". Saying to someone:'I don't want to go on with you', requests quite a bit of honesty and respect towards who you are.

As a rule, I try to be honest with my feelings, with how I feel and try to express it. That way, I give the chance to a partner/friend,...to decide whether or not they want to go on.

I've come to realize that only a few people are able to do that. To share that gift of being open without false pretence (hum, don't know the word in English!!).

Anyway, looking at oneself with integrity/sincerity/honesty is, in my view only a winning position, even if what you see from yourself is not always 'good'.

Yes I agree. I always believe that people should keep writing to the 'lady' audience if they encourage ladies to be stronger. What I do to fill my time, is sports. Things like play squash, hike, jog, go out with friends etc. That fills the gap for me. And I blog. One can cope just fine single until the right guy comes along. And that was for the ladies. Amen girl! I agree. That is one reason I am so proud of my daughter being one of the youngest 1st degree black belts, in Karate. Karate has truly helped her develop things like sefl-confidence, leadership and pride in herself. The best part ishe does not need a man to validate her as a woman.

I also agree with your second observation. It is a term I coined, "CALLED LOVE HUNGER." The way I see it many women have this . heart tank. Think of a heart tank like a gasoline tank. All tanks after awhile, become low or empty. They have to be filled. Right?

Now the question is what will you fill your tank with? You can chose to fill it up with healthy and functional gas. i.e. taking a class of interest, developing a hobby, expanding your horizons, getting involved in a club, bowling league in order to grow and cut down the feelings of isolation.

Or the other choice is you can chose to fill your tank with unhealthy dysfunctional behaviors, like bad gas, it will always damage your insides. This inside damage leads to a vicious cycle, at first you feel good and enjoy the taste of attention, but afterwards you have feeling and even emptier pain inside you, because not only was the gas your chose bad for you it made you realize just how needy you are. Its like eating cotton candy, at first it tastes good, but after awhile, you don't feel satisfied. You like the taste at first, then hate yourself afterwards.

Sheez talk about CAPS! I personally have never or will ever take a cheater back. And I probably would not date the cheating kind to begin with "if I can help it". I think the thing with women is, they just want to be loved and they don't always recognise their self worth, it's goes alot deeper than just wanting to change a man. Sometimes they sell themselves short for a dream. And in the end its their hope in the lie (I love you) that leads them to take the guy back or it can be for security. Women are softer than guys. I think women defnitey need to become stronger and see their self worth. I'd kick a jackasses backside right out the freaking door with no hesitation whatsoever!

well there are a few reasons:

1. They are insecure and have no self esteem; they feel that they can't live without the guy. Always cracks me up when they cry after breaking up. Why are they sad leaving a cheater?

2. They romanticize what they had. They try to make it work out like a fairy tale when they dont' look at what it really was.

3. They dont' want to start over again; they are determined to make it work. You never hear a guy say, wow I put all that time into it so I'll stay. Women say it all the time.

4. Women are emotional; they dont' look at actions they listen to words. If a guy cheats but says I love you, the I love you's many times trump it.

5. They want to change the guy; never works.
