Extreme thrill seekers...I often wondered.
I am probably one of the most boring people when it comes to extreme thrill seeking. I don't know if you would get me going to the mouth of an active volcano, or hanging from the side of a cliff without some sort of safety measures.Coming from that mindset, I wonder if people who are extreme thrill seekers should be locked up for their own safety.
....as something a bit extra here.
That lady in the commercial who gets here new high-end exercise bike looks scared to try it out for the first time. Hmm...

It is their lives, and they can choose to live it as they wish.
I don't think I would like to live in a world where the fun-police decide how we should live our lives.
But, I suppose.
Or crossing the street? You could be hit by a car.
Johnny, people put their lives at risk all the time. I agree that some do more than others.
If they didn't, you wouldn't be living in the US. Explorers would have been locked up.
or one volcano erupts.
I think it is crazy and people should be checked out if they have those sort of tendencies...but that is just me.
My point is, that our lives cannot be policed like that.
I personally may not choose to climb Everest or go to Antarctica, but I would never say that other people shouldn't.
It is their life to live.
Humans have explored and done potentially dangerous things since existence. It is part of the human psyche.
Whether people choose live a safe life but will inevitably still die, or choose to live a more exciting life, and still inevitably die, is totally up to themselves.
This is the reality. Life is anyway hanging by a thread. You can be safely in any place on earth but death can strike you without a prior notice.
So at least some are brave enough to challenge death and risk life. And if they lost life it's their own chosen way they exited.
I don't know...still a crazy thing to do and they should have their head examined. That is my vote.

I have other good qualities that can be very fun that don't require me threatening my own life over some sort of senseless act.
I can barely cross the country road.
You’re not boring, and if you think you are, wait til you get together with and all crazy in love with some over-the-top hot and pretty lady, and she’s the kind that likes to try daring things?
Heck, you’ll no doubt find yourself going along and doing all those daring things with her.
Life is to enjoy. Who knows when it ends for each person. But, while we’re here, we gotta enjoy life as we like, because as they say, tomorrow is promised to no one.
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be cautious, just means, don’t live in so much in fear. Go forward and live, love and enjoy.
You should someday come visit the beaches of California, and 5he nightlife of Vegas.
Don’t catch the flu this season. I heard if a man catches the flu last week or this week, it could make his private area grow to his knee.
Then, you’d have to buy new pairs of pants.
Okay Robert, I should get going here. Thanks for the fun.
I know you wouldn’t mess around on a girlfriend. You know, we just BS on here for fun.
“So, all you single ladies out there. Johnny’s really a good guy. Get to know him, maybe, or something.”
There ya go, Johnny. I was being your wing man by saying that promo for you.
Have a good night. Thanks for the fun chatter.
These folk were on organised tour so thought it safe, but fancied being so near a volcano and take pics they have for rest of their lives.
So sad that eruption and questions do need to be asked BUT NOT NOW.
Whats thrill seeking than to see so called dormant volcano. climbing Mount Everest, water rafting., etc etc, this was the site of a dormant (dormant) volcano
My thoughts are with survivors they have an uphill journey that will need bravery we never have to experience .
Indeed it is very sad. This thought was well on my mind way before what I have heard about recently. I did hear that the volcano was actually known to be recently active before they landed on it. That is what one news channel reported.
I hope everyone who is stranded there makes it off safely.
But, if it was not a crazy idea, then I suspect there will be no lawsuits with the cruise line.
I am just sharing my opinion here.
This blog is about extreme thrill seekers and like I mentioned in the original post, people who go to the mouth of an active volcano.
Like mentioned, I did hear from one news channel, it was reported to be recently active. I am sure that the lawyers will work the details out on that.
I am talking about the person is is doing gymnastics on the edge of a tall building's roof. Or,some of these people who are doing crazy things for attention and then post their videos on YouTube for attention.
If you have a fulfilling life and are surrounded by people who matter to you you won't go risk your life for the cheap thrill...
How cool is to die while taking a selfie on the edge of a cliff?!
maybe they should not be locked up for their own protection...then again, maybe. It would be maybe useful for them to seek some sort of help.
I wonder how far they would have to be for their loved ones not to feel the pain when something goes wrong.
I suppose you have rescue people and hospital accommodations....and money I suppose.
