It is an optical illusion. two horses, one on the left and ond on the right stand with their backs to you.
Some horses share the same legs. and some horses disappear when you see the other. I count 8, but I believe ther are more.
It all depends where your eyes focus. Do something else and try again. You may even be seeing horses that I don't see yet
I believe there are even more. There is no way to know if you see the same 8 as I do

This cloak and dagger stuff is intriguing. It is such a pity my new novel is in it final stages else I could have worked this in somewhere. One section is s bit thin, but I will certainly keep this for my next novel.
