The Dangers of Finger Slippage
Am I the only person to accidently have finger-slippage when looking to see who is online, and end up perving somebody's profile by mistake?Then dancing around the floor on the spot wondering if you should just mail them and say it was finger-slippage, or hope that they just ignore the perv?
Most ignore it luckily, but some seem to grasp at it as if you were their last hope on earth!
Others then, feel sorry for you. That is even worse! I finger-slipped a fella last week who then emailed me to say he noticed I had perved him, but that unfortunately he was not available.
I immediately mailed him back to say it was the dreaded finger-slippage, and that I was not looking anyway.
He responded again (!)to say that he hoped I too would find someone, anybody..sometime...
I gave up at that stage!
Finger slippage is a grave problem...

Believe me a slip of the finger is not half as bad as a slip of the tongue.

This is a dating website and profiles are there to be looked at. I don't pay much attention on my WVM list and I find these "thanks for viewing my profile" emails completely ridiculous.
Yeah I have that, handy for checking the piles.
My ex said I hope that's a thermometer.

As for the profiles... I don't really worry too much who sees me on WVM list so it doesn't really matter. I know some people make a habit of returning the view... or occasionally send a mail as an opener... but I dunno. Maybe reading a bit too much into what is, for many, mere curiosity of a OCDesque leaning mind.
Obviously, I chose to call it that. I could have called it 'mistakingly pressing somebody's profile...oops' or 'hitting profiles by mistake' or something similarly boring.

I got banned one week...not months...
