When Love Comes Knocking At Your Door.
When somebody knocks on my front door, I open it. I think the majority of people do. Especially here in South Africa because most of us have safety gates to prevent surprises when we open the door. Something that was not necessary when I was a child. The average person doesn’t hide behind a closed door and doesn’t scamper to write down registration numbers. Unless - of course - if we expect trouble.
We open the door and if it is a friend, we let him in. We cannot just let a stranger in but we should listen to what brought the stranger to our doorstep. Then, after checking his credentials, we can decide if there is need for any action or not.
Why is it then that we act differently when love comes knocking at our heart’s door? We follow the extreme options. We either hide behind a closed door of we let the stranger in and give him a free run of the place without knowing his bona fides.
Why don’t we first listen to a stranger’s story before we decide what to do? Should we not get to know the strangers bona fides before we give him the full run of our hearts?
Your heart is a sacred as your home; treat it as such.

Thanks. I have it like that now. So it works that way but not when you upload them.
This fella is already inside the house. He's knocking on heaven's door. O so he thinks in any way.
It is just an innocent fella trying his luck.
I had to remove that large gif. I was casing problems my side.
and I dont shoot anybody, even though they often come in with guns, cause then I go to jail, so, I hide underneath a bunker I made. also sleep there now.
today, they broke my beware of the dog sign on the gate.
each day , they break something.
when they get inside, all they find is a few plastic chairs, a bed, and a washing machine that you cant get loose, the pipes are welded etc.
and the fridge, but the fridge, only has water in and a bit of stail bread. and half a cabbage.
they dont seem interested in that.
my laptop, take underground with me.
You are sure a strange fella. In what country do you live? Things are not as they should be here in SA but surely much better than where you live.
But the postman also knocks three times.
We are too greatful to get mail deliver on time.
I don't, I live too far out of town. I collect my mail at the post office.
Going to sleep so early?
This is so true for me. My heart is very sacred even more than my home. A person should always get to know the other person first , for me I believe you should be friends first.
Interesting topic and great blog!
Thanks.
Hmm, I should know. you made me work hard enough.
I told you before if it came too easy it won't be appreciated.
Hmm, right! Easy comes, easy goes.
very dangerous in JHB now, and most of the country, especially on or near farms, small towns etc.
they just invade your home and space, especially if its open, near fields, open land etc.
I live on the edge of town just one block away from the farmlands and we have nothing like that. the only problem I have is with the mice when they clean the lands. Maybe you are in the wrong province.
anything good on TV
It is 2:26 am here. Way past my bed time again. I will go to bed in a few minutes from now.
however i do open the door for people but we sit on the porch. i am hoping that my someone will soon knock, he travel far and the least i could do is invite him in
That is a good strategy. I will not easily date a woman if she is not known by a member of my family or one of my friends.
Can it be that bad?
