pondering
I was just on my way back from a movie when I was looking out into the night sky. Parking my car, the stillness of the night revealed the lively chirping of the crickets.lol
awkward transition here....:)
It is often said as we go through life, we will discover our purpose of life. Don't you often wonder if there has to be more to life than just waking up, doing your routine, going to sleep, only to wake up to do the same thing over and over and over and over and over....okay, you get the picture.
Have you discovered your purpose? Do you believe we have a purpose? I can imagine a lot of people will say that their children are their purpose. That could be. Is it really your purpose if you are doing it for "my" child/children? That just sounds a little selfish to me (what do I know). Maybe they might be a hint or a path to your purpose??? I really do not know.
I cannot say I have discovered my purpose yet. I live my life trying to leave people better off (even if just so slightly) than they were before they met me. I might give them a genuine compliment, give them a constructive criticism, help them with something, give my non-bias advice/opinion, or give them few extra bucks to help them through this difficult life. Is this my purpose? I do not know.
What do you all think? Do we have a purpose? Do we have no purpose? If you think there is a purpose each of us have in life and you think you discovered yours....do you care to share it here? If so....let's hear it. :)

The more I think of it, it really seems as if I crawled out from under a rock or something.
Sure! Because most likely.
You are going to have to pay for something....
This might be a bold statement, but I think the internet is probably in the top 10 best discoveries/inventions of all time. Like I mentioned earlier, it is still a relatively new thing. As time goes on, we will see the good and bad in it and hopefully make corrections to prevent the bad.
Fortunately, we are alive to experience it....again, hopefully in all positive ways.
You bring many beautiful things to the blogs. Thank you.
Paying for both!....
yes, it's best to see and work on the positive side of things...but we need to acknowledge the negatives first so we can know exactly what we need to correct...
the way I see it...those negatives are huge and getting bigger and bigger for us to handle...i'm afraid we humans have created things that they are getting way way ahead of us and out of our control..
don't want to sound pessimistic...just being realistic
now, now, this is exactly why I try to steer clear from any deep and serious blogs...
maybe I need to pass by McDO later...
I almost wonder with the internet existing if Mazlow's (I think that is how you spell his name) Hierarchy of Needs might become somewhat obsolete.
On a serious note....parents do have a more difficult job these days monitoring what their children are doing on the internet. With smart phones, that is virtually impossible....I think. But, possible....I think. :)
everything is in the internet now...my son is 10 years old and has a smart phone and access to the internet. I tried to protect him by monitoring the things he has access to
BUT...the things he hears and learns from his friends are shocking...I find it hard to protect him from them, he plays with them and interacts with them in school or in the neighborhood.
The questions he asks me these days...boy they shock me from time to time.., no choice but have to be open to him and explain things to him early.
Internet has both advantages and disadvantages but personally I would love to go back to the time before internet conquered the world...life was simpler then...happier...less crimes, less corruptions, less evil deeds...less worries....more humane life then.
How's it hanging? Err, I mean, how's it going?
I read your blog here, and I still don't know what the heck it's about!
Anyways, have a cool fun day, and don't drink too much, drink a lot!
Robert...we are talking about crickets. What is some difficult to understand about that? Have a good one yourself. :)
For some reason, when I type responses to you, my typo ratio jumps astronomically. lol
