who is the best of the candidates on GOP?

Anyone watched the debate last night?

I'm sure some would be leaning towards Christy and possibly even Carson.

I am positive it'd better be someone who can collapse Hillary, as I'm sure she'll be the one on the liberal side.

I don't know who is the best Republican candidate, but I hope Donald Trump gets the nomination . That way Hillary will be an easy victory . . . . . . laugh
A gop is???????????????????
loveallnite. It is the Grand Ole Party known as the Republican Party.
Grouchy you must have a good reason why you're with the democrats.
Thanks Ccgrin
Dear Lindsy, Given the last fifteen years, I can't see any other choice !. . . . innocent

Did you ever wonder why the G O P uses the elephant as it's trademark ? It's because there is no land animal that makes a bigger pile than that thing !. . . .

I tend to think it was a conscience effort . . . . rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
Grouchy Obviously neither party are angels.grin
Vera, I know he's good but I'm truly leaning towards Trump. All his policies on immigration, outsourced jobs to come home, gun s.. I believe will restore what Obama has destroyed.
This blog seemed stalled ! I just thought I would comment again so all of you could vent your anger at someone who doesn't follow the " party line " . After all it is a free country , that is if you are the right color, income, and political persuasion .

IF WE DON'T CHANGE DIRECTION...
WE'LL GET WHERE WE'RE GOING!!!

I have this vision -
Four years from now...Hillary is running for her second term.
The 20th something Congressional Committee on Benghazi calls her to testify...
blah blah yawn

frustrated
They're actually making her look sympathetic & competent...
Keep flogging that horse & they'll get her elected.
"Eight Is Enough"...Let the latest one be the LAST one!

Veri, thumbs up thumbs up
I'm kinda likin' The Donald for the GOP.
How 'bout this for a matchup...

Democrats - Sen. Sanders
Republicans - The Donald
Libertarian - Gov. Ventura
CS - angel
wow

Whatever else...it'd sure be interesting, you betcha!

Hi Lindsy,

what I don't like about most politicians and their campaigns, is that they come out and tell us how bad the politicians running against them are. They find and search for any mistake, even made up ones to try and belittle and bring down their opponents.

I think rather than telling everyone how terrible their opponents are, they should tell us WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO FOR US IF THEY GET IN OFFICE, and will they in fact do it, or is it all just lip service.

It's like applying for a job, and when you get interviewed, rather than tell the employer about your qualifications and what you can do, you would instead tell them how terrible the other applicants are, just so that the employer would decide to hire the lesser of the two evils or bypass them both.

If all the promises made by elected politicians in the past had come true, we'd all be living in paradise, and we all know that cannot be so nor will it be so in the future.

I am not Republican or Democrat. I am independent, and it's been so many many many years since I've seen a good candidate. Right now, none have truly convinced me that they will do much. But then again, it's been like that for many years now.

Just my two cents worth, whether others agree or not.
Have a nice day. tip hat
As of now, I think he'd probably do the best of the GOP contenders.
'Course, we have 370 & some days 'til "the people speak".

What I do know for SURE...
We'll know more about it a year from this Nov. 15!

robrt I have to agree with what you posted.

If the Dems and Repubs were to spend as much of their time discussing the real issues instead of running down one another they might really accomplish something.

But of course it hasn't really made any difference who became our leader cause all they do is take up where the other person left off.

We've always had poor, homeless and jobless people.
The way the press makes fun of all the GOP candidates you'd think they'd get smart and be more sensible. At the rate their going they won't have a chance. Not to mention the polls!

* YouTube Clinton's Farewell Speech *

You may or may not agree with all his politics (I don't) but that speech is heartbreaking.
It's very short...about 8 minutes or so.
The first third he's basically patting himself on the back...as all pols do.
But the last part...
It is truly difficult, now, to listen to him, and think that could've actually been seriously ststed.

Grouchy I don't vote anymore cause the last time I voted was the last time.
Jim, I believe we are in the same direction. Trump will have a good chance of getting the job done.

I passed on the debate in favor of watching San Andreas. I am sure Jeb Bush would have joined me, but Supergirl (who he says is hot) wasn't in it.
Rand Paul because he had the cutest butt. Christie is my second choice.kiss
Lou I am glad to see you. How is your side of the world?

Well it looks like what he said is true: With Obama, how bad can it get? I do love his non compromising attitude. I looked at all his policies on the immigration:'Come legal" like his gun policy and specially the jobs that are outsourced would come back home. Now that will make our manpower rise up and secure more security for the American people's jobs.

There is nothing that I can think that wouldn't make me vote for him.wine
Mic, that is a lie, according to him. He openly said: I never filed for bankruptcy and I believe him. The press never said anything or presented any document to prove he is lying. It is easy to secure documents because it is a public record. Even you can check it out or anybody else for that matter.

You don't just say it, unless you can prove it.wine
Grouchy, I do listen to my brain..wine
Hmmmn your attitude is what makes the bad ones get elected Ken. Like CC being resigned doesn't make it any better. IMO.wine

From Politifact -
Carly Fiorina asserted, during the Sept. 16 Republican debate, four of Trump's businesses have filed for bankruptcy.
Trump does not deny four of his companies have filed for bankruptcy.
He claims it's a common business practice.

Take it up with Carly, The Donald & Politifact, Lindsy.
