Loyalty

Does it mean anything to you?

For me, it is very important. Specially in terms of love, friendship and political affiliations.

It took me years to change from Democrat to Republican. I was so into the aspirations of John F. Kennedy, but after they killed him...(conspiracy), the whole agenda of that party just changed. I know everything changes but when you see that those changes just kill those you love and or in terms of political leadership, kill the goods that is for everyone, then perhaps loyalty needs to be questioned.

What is your opinion?

Thanks for reading and or commenting if any.wave

Jazz????? How so??? please elaborate, I am so agaped with how it can be?wave bouquet
I don't think there's a lot of loyalty in politics, all depends on whose trough they can get there noses into laugh
Lindsy....obviously.....it depends on how deep the love is.....as to how you deal with it....

In my case....it ain't that deep....laugh
political affiliations I would have no loyalty to ,
I think whats right is right, nothing to do with who says it.

Love and friendship if you dont have some level of loyalty to these
you may well lose them both, My past has thought me this on both cases.

wine hug
There is a possibility you would get loyalty in love a d friendship , not in the political arena with those power hungry people.
Non, one thing I love about you is your ability to put yourself in a non compromising way. Yes indeed, truth is truth regardless of who is affected and not. So whoever serves your agenda works just as fine, doesn't matter if it comes from left or right. I like that.

I belong to a party that stands up to what I believe in, and staying with that party better defines and serves my objectives.

My country is so big that this group affiliations work best for the serving of the political interest of the majority. Today however, it is very questionable specially if we can feel that they are all robot now flaunting their alien objectives to us, humans..
Non, I am sure glad, your loyalty serves well for what is good in your need. Lessons learned steer us to be more careful isn't it?

I hope for the best always Non..hug
@Annleerose

I think LJ is asking would we GIVE Loyalty.
and do we feel it important to give it to these three options dunno
Ann, thanks for joining in. Yes, it is very difficult to measure loyalty amongst leaders that are so corrupt and only self serve their personal aggrandizement.wave

In love though, Ann. I demand loyalty..If he that loves me want me to be happy...in return make us both happy..he must adhere to what I believe in..I don't take that loyalty for granted..bouquet
But what about for friendship and or love GG? I didn't see you touch any of that as I know how much love you can give to the world.hug
Green I am glad to share your opinion in terms of loyalty to those that encounter our private most endearing life. Yes I am like you, can't and will never tolerate anyone around me, including friends who back stab and or say good things in your face only to learn how much they despise and or hate you. That to me is the definition of the most unwanted presence around me.

Now on politics, I feel you. I wrote so much about what a mistake Merkel has done for Germany and the European people as a whole. I feel how unjust and what a treason she is committing against German citizens and their constitutions and what baffles me most is that she seems untouchable.

She is obviously serving a handful of greedy group and yet fail to justify what serves best for the population.

And still in power, beats the hell out of me Green.sad flower
Sorry Linday, I didnot see your reply there... Yes the love, the good things...I think you wouldnot last long in politics with a soft heart. They become ill or leave softly, or become very old very quickly. teddybear
We need a lot of people like you on this planet GG. One thing for sure, compassion and kindness are so underrated today either in politics or our private world..don't you agree?
Jim,very nicely saidthumbs up
Jim, thank you my dear friend for being on here and smiling. How is the weather there with you guys? Sunny where I am at the moment and very good to wake up with a mild and rather mellow debate from last night.

Exactly my sentiments Jim. His wrongs are forgivable and changeable. The life that criminal Hilary failed to serve are not coming back.sad flower
Thanks MH!thumbs up
My good morning. How are you keeping up? Nice for you to join. And I definitely love what Jim expressed..wave bouquet
Lindsy,

Weather has been beautiful here! 70's + or -

Today is another beautiful day!yay

I watched most of the debate and I think Trump destroyed her!yay
Hi CH,

I agree with you!
In many ways our lives are all part of this political world. We can't simply sit comfortably in our chairs and ignore all the signs of our deteriorating world. We can't simply be nonchalant about it and think that our voices don't matter. It does, however difficult it is, we do create an impact as to what is affecting our lives and future.

Election is our ways of participating in for our choices and voices. Yes it is not always obvious that we do feel the need to be participating in this venture but the crucial part is that these leaders have to consider our needs one way or another. It is not perfect, nor it is by far ideal, but looking at from the different systems of political ideologies, I can personally vouch and say that US system is the best. It is not free from all the evils that politics are made of, yet if I have to choose where to live base on all the other alternatives, I would without a doubt, still be here and or CH for that matter.
CH, is the original name for Switzerland which stands for Confederation Helvetic. My only other choice if it were in my power to decide and still can. I might just go and retire there. I am working so hard to be able to afford to live there as it is one heck of a very expensive place to live. But when it comes to freedom and control. It is most libertarian of which I am mostly associated with.
Ading, I understand your frustrations believe me.

But like I mentioned over and over again. Between our choices I opt for him as it is easier to overlook his weakness against the other alternative.

While I don't necessary get slighted by your last sentence, you have to respect what other's choices and leave the judgment to us who do have the right to vote for whoever will be the next president.

Now on the poor and or the caring of the needs of the less privileged we do stand to have help other countries more than any countries in the world. Our leaders do direct these objectives based on the level of the other countries' need.

I do agree with you. War, must and should never be an alternative, but if you look at the history of the world, it has been a non stop chronicle after chronicle of wars. Why? again because of greed and power. If only we can truly achieve what is described in some religious books, that of an absolute ideal state. The stage where there is no evil, no negative elements, just pure peace, love and harmony.

How to achieve that? Beats the hell out of me.teddybear
As for the wars...nothing good was ever achieved by /through war...

America today was a product of cold killings...

USA helping other countries? by more killing?

War on drugs in Philippines ? by more killings?

There are killing everywhere, the only people who profit from war are those making and selling weapons...and those who kisses their asses.
Ading, we can't stop voting and leave everything to just flow on by chance. Of you compare our country with one without a vote, for instance in China, where there is no choice to elect. Are they any better?

I don't know ading but change do happen and when I see that my vote don't matter then perhaps I wouldn't. I doubt it will radically make humanity better by not voting. It is a fact that our societies have evolved from a very single simple and less dense unit than now. But no matter what organization you are in, there is always a leader. I would rather choose who is leading me than not at all.
How do Ms Jones wave
Loyal I can be but not if it means I must be deceitful to another.

Loyalty I think is not always such a good thing.
Yes I believe you. There is a friend who said this and made me think: "Take out all the guns in he Middle East and there is no more killing. Take all the guns in Israel and they will be wiped out from the whole of humanity".

I thought and thought of this and it just made me dry on possibilities. I can't truly say anything that either support nor argue on that.

Yet it does propel the business of making guns into an unlimited amount of profit.

I don't know ADING BUT LIKE YOU, I do want to stop all killings and harming others.

So let us start on that. How to make it happen.
Ms. Witch, Oh how nice to see you. How is your daughter? I hope she is fine.wave

Nice of you to join in. How could you be deceitful and be loyal at the same time? I am confused Ms. Witch. I can only think of loyalty to one person at a time, I meant in love, that is. bouquet
Good Morning Lindsy, wave Loyalty in friendships , relationships, and to political parties can sure wear thin ,if it is not returned. Gone are the days where a persons word, or a handshake sealed a deal.confused
Politicians talk a nice story ,but final results tell the true story, and so often talk turns into fiction.doh
As for friendships, and relationships loyalty is rare, but should be treasured when it is found, I find it so sad people don t realize it.
itowave how are you this morning?

I do know how rare indeed to find a truly worthy friendship. And even more so in love. But politics it is the trend that politicians are just as fleeting as the wind.

I do expect the one who love me to treasure our relationship by not violating that trust Ito.

Thanks for joining in.wave
She is no better, in fact worse... come tomorrow I think I'll be taking her for a 2nd opinion...
But ta Ms Jones, very thoughtful of you to ask hug

But you asked me a question....
I'm planning a trip in the near future I've two sisters that both want to join me .. now one is saying she won't go if the other one is doh

each is expecting my loyalty not caring how deceitful I'm being to the other.. frustrated
