Caught the Royal wedding this AM, and while hardly a royalist, enjoyed the show, and seeing this nice socially active couple. But I was saddened to see that the bride had only one member of her family in attendance, namely mom. Gossip media bring up alleged big family issues on dad's side. Of course, historically, and present day, hard to beat the British Royals for treetop family dysfunction, with some notable exceptions. They should clone the Queen Mother. Aa-V.
As I recall long ago I treated my uncle and grandfather to a fishing trip for walleye in Wisconsin one spring and of course it was a perfect day cloudy and nearly cold so fishing wasn't so great and as I steered the boat to shore I told uncle a polite reminder to wait till I pulled the boat on shore grandfather was off first being on the bow me in the middle and uncle at the end so grand got off then I walked to the bow to jump off and pull the boat on shore more as I grabbed the bow to pull it that's lol when my uncle started to stand up and done a flip in deep cold as he** water of course it caught me off guard like WTH then I hear Gramps laughing and a few shore fisherman then of course I did then as uncle reaches shore soaking wet he says boy is that water cold, that did it we all laughed even more and more for the next five minutes by then poor uncle was getting mad and we all started laughing all over again..lol

I must have been 12 or 13 years old when my father was pushing us along to get ready and go out. What was I doing? Probably watching TV.
He said "Get your pants, shoes and socks on"
I did EXACTLY what he said.
That's when I got a whoopin'
This could all have been avoided if he had told me to put on my pants, socks and shoes.

"Paint me a picture, Mommy" she demanded. And so I painted one. A huge mural that stretched forever - a mural of words. Words that spun tales like my foot on the pedal of the spinning wheel as it gobbled raw chunks and twirled them into long continuous strings of oily wool.
Words that exported us into the universe as we floated on the backs of unicorns, sailing through galaxies and sipping from the stars of the Milky Way. Words that bounced and soared, skipped and tickled.
Words that crept quietly, rustling in underbrush. Creeks of words that gurgled and slid, bubbled and sang along riverbanks of imagination. Words that flew and darted amongst tall cedars and scrambled lightly over soft, spongy, needle-laden ground.
Words that crouched in trepidation, hiding in long fingers of dusky shadows before bursting into the bloom of golden sunshine and sparkling with prisms of dew.
Words that danced, played, tumbled and somersaulted. A mural of love.
"Imagical Mom"
I will take
your small hand
and lead you softly
through lush forests
pause to lay
on spongy beds
of fallen needles
squint at blue sky
blonde sun peeks
through cedar boughs
dappling earth
woodsy fragrance
bites your nostrils
make animal
cloud shapes
touch gently
petals of wild flowers
play peek-a-boo
through fern fronds
hide and seek
in roots of
hollow trees
whisper secrets
to giggling streams
picnic behind drapes
of willow trees.
I will sprinkle stardust
tickling on your eyelids
and take you
on journeys
where unicorns fly
catch tails of
shooting stars
slide down
rainbow bannisters
bounce on trampolines
of clouds
tumble with trolls
dance with fairies
laugh with elves.
Some day you will
look behind
and know
that I have taught you
- magic.

Happy 7 days here and happy birthday to me hehehe..

There have been famous multiple births in recorded history: quintuplets, sextuplets, septuplets and even octuplets. But a Malian woman recently gave birth to the first surviving set of nonuplets.
Yes, that’s nine babies at once, and the kicker is she thought she was having seven babies. Halima Cissé, 25, gave birth to five girls and four boys on May 4 in a Moroccan hospital where she’d been sent to receive special care for her high-risk pregnancy.
Two of the children had gone undetected during ultrasounds. Cissé reportedly laughed when she heard she had delivered two extra children.
Video footage from the hospital in Casablanca where the nonuplets were born showed the tiny infants moving little limbs while being cared for in incubators after their birth at 30 weeks. The footage comes from news channel France 24.
i thought we are a perfect match. He promised noone will make me as happy as he can.
Everything went on smoothly ultil after we both declared our coming wedding and sent out invitations. the preparation aroused many arguments and sadness, even silence.
Now I am so confused and unsecured. the questions like is this decision a right one? are we meant for each other? should we reconsider this marriage? how to deal with all the set wedding arrangements? how to deal with family, colleagues, friends.... keep coming up and chasing my mind
what should i do?
