was just out for

a walk with my dog, what a calm and unusually mild night for this time of year confused
The beach was empty. Not even the sporadic solitary fishermen who haunt the shoreline at night were casting their craft Tonight. An eerie calm I would say. Is it an omen or just what it is.
A calm mild Still and Silent winters night.

KING CHARLES 111. AND CAMILLA

Well, it doesn't matter who you are, you can still have adulterous relationships and become king of England and the commonwealth. And supreme governor of the church of England. According to previous interviews on TV Charles admitted his relationship with Camilla, who now becomes Queen consort. The marriage to Diana had apparently irretrievably broken down.
It was definitely a CROWNAFFAIR.

Ok let's roll out the hot potatoe

Why do so many bloggers find the need to cover their eyes

uh oh

When I was growing up I was told that people that have something to hide cover their eyes

Untrustworthy people or those who are telling lies can't look you on the eyes

Shifty ,

Weak willed

Etc etc

So what is your profile pic saying about you

When Solitaire's the only game in town

More and more people in their 30s and 40s are choosing to be alone, to have a social network but no partner and no lasting ties. Most people on their own would rather have someone to go out with than to come home to. In fact the number of single-person households across the world has sky-rocketed by 80% in the last 30 years. The biggest age-group within that statistic is 35 to 64.

And at 64? Probably time to find a soulmate so you’re sorted for the last stretch.

One small problem, long-term singles are awfully picky. You might consider giving up your single status for someone who looks amazing, is excellent company but gives you space when you want it, will hop into bed and perform with gusto when but only if you are in the mood, and eventually look after your every need, including financial, as you move through the foothills of approaching age into the unknown. Anyone less, nah.

roll eyes

You could lower that bar, of course. There are a million websites offering to introduce seasoned singles to other seasoned singles. Find your very own lightly creased companion for the years ahead while you both have enough vigour and energy to get used to being together. Some do come with children, even grandchildren. No?

How about a young looker from another country who would rather be in your country and will in return be nice to you and look after you? You do need quite big bucks for that one. No?

So, looking ahead, what happens when there aren’t children so there won’t be grandchildren to make you feel young, when work isn’t the be-all and end-all that it was, and retirement looms, or has already landed. When the partner for life, if there ever was one, is no longer there. When being alone is no longer a choice but has suddenly become reality . . . uh oh

Problem?

Turns out, nah, not quite so much as you might think. The first few comments are bits that would have made this too long a blog. (Too late, too late!)

What I've been up to

I've been spending a lot of my free time -of which I have quite a large
amount at the moment- messing about with a 3D modelling computer
programme. It also does animation. It isn't simple to use, in fact, it is
quite complicated and would probably require a college course to gain
proficiency. After much persistence I am starting to get to grips with the
basics.

This is a sample of my achievements so far. Providing I can manage to
upload it to the blog.

women's discrimination

I am surprised the women have not gotten together to protest this....blatant discrimination that has been going on for years.

It is called pretty privilege.

We are taught that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...while there is some truth to that, there are many characteristics of humans that are commonly held in favorable view....and considered beautiful.

Do you really want me to go through and post evidence of that?

How many of you noticed that attractive women get important positions in the workforce? Yes, there are unattractive women too that get great workforce positions...but pay attention to how many beautiful women get those positions over other women....Hollywood actresses, weather ladies, television hosts....the list just goes on.

I feel sorry for you ladies.

My Loner Life

I've always preferred to navigate life alone. But it's only recently I've really acknowledged and embraced my loner ways. Add this new found appreciation for who I am to my interest in story telling, I've decided to try document my life twice a month on YouTube - the film industry won't be knocking down my door any time soon it fair to say.

Welcome to my simple life.

The Power of Beauty

Just recently, I was watching the movie, The Dark Tower. In the movie, Matthew McConaughey's character makes a comment to his shape-shifting minion, (to the effects here) "Oh, I see you chose a beautiful face....with a beautiful face, the world is your oyster."

Also, I have heard it said that a beautiful woman is the most powerful person in the world.

....and, what about that song that says if you want a happy life don't marry a beautiful wife (or something like that lol)

I am just a dummy here and just trying to become more educated.

Is it possible there is something to beauty?

Is it possible that beautiful people should be paid a little closer attention to, to determine their personalities, their moral compasses...etc....

It is said that we are in essence products of our environments. We are shaped by our feedback we receive from others. Is it possible that beautiful people curry favor....they hear less negative feedback because many want something from them? Therefore, they become less empathetic due to genuine ignorance. dunno

I don't know....but I found that line in that movie very interesting.

In addition, the references given mention the female gender. Of course, this is not a gender specific subject. Men can also be deemed as attractive and curry favor as well because of their looks.

I am sure it is just Hollywood and it means absolutely nothing....but...what if.
What about the beauty Hollywood hires, why?
What about news networks with the majority being attractive, why?
What about weather channels and their beauty, why?
Scammers using images of attractive people, why?

Common sense would say it is a play on human instincts...they are not labeled "attractive" for nothing. They garner attention, people wanting to watch/see them. In other words they generate viewer dollars. They by no fault of their own, have a following for nothing other than their looks. Some, I would suspect know they are beautiful and can play that in their favor. Hmmm....I am trying to think of something I just heard on a show in reference to a woman using her beauty for selfish ends. Again, men can too.

Beauty can have the power of persuasion. I once heard that humans have 5 essential motivators....one is sex and one is money.

I bet people have done some pretty stupid things at the request of a beautiful person.

I am not saying all beauty is dangerous...but...just like anything else...some can be.
