I have just watched the coronation and when looking at the majority of thousands upon thousands of hopefully British public (I know it was a mix) people I couldn't help noticing that they weren't half as obese as the USA public that I sometimes see on US channels.

Not sure if this is my imagination or not.
Has anyone else noticed this and if so what causes this?
I doubt it can only be the current fast food trade alone, maybe genetics?

I don't know what it is, but I seem to attract some people with novel different ideas. I was out at the bar the other night and this guy who I have never met before decides to sit next to me and starts talking. Now the live band was playing very loudly and it was difficult to hear him.

He opens up by asking me, 'what do you think of a government having a secret war with its people?' At first I am thinking, I am here to enjoy the music and not talk politics. But he went on. He then asks, 'what if you were a leader of a country...why would you want a secret war against your people and how would you carry it out?'

Still talking, I am half paying attention to him and watching and listening to the band, as I intended to do. Then he continues even further. Why? Why would you want a secret war against your people? He started spewing out many reasons. Some of them I do remember. He says, maybe the population is becoming more of a drain than contributing. Maybe a society is becoming too smart...catching on to the way things really are? I asked with that one, what he meant. He said, maybe about the secrets they hold and he mentioned many more things I could not hear completely. Another one I remember he mentioned is, maybe the leader and his elite surrounding people feel threatened. The last one I recall was, maybe the leader is a psychopath and he enjoys violence.

Like I said, crazy stuff here. It gets even more out there.

At this time, I am listening a little more closer to him. So I say, 'okay...how do you do it?'

He said that there are many ways. You could divide a people. You could strip their identities, you could reinstate a draft, you could remove safety regulations, you could create catastrophic events, you could remove benefits. I am trying to think of more things he said....just some things that are just out there. He exeven mentioned about the current Vegas incident. He says, 'what about setting up an old guy as a patsy without any sort of military training and have him carry out something experts could do.

He just went on and on....I cannot remember everything he said...could not hear either.

But anyway, I just got done seeing the movie American Made. Supposedly based off some real life events. Also, just a Hollywood movie.

On my way home, I got thinking a bit about what the guy talked about.

It was crazy that the government gave Flint lead water to drink.
It was crazy that the EPA themselves dumped a bunch of pollution in the Colorado river.

...then,

I somewhat recall some sort of conflict going on with Hollywood right now. I know they were supporting Hillary bigly.



Anyway....just having some fun with some crazy conspiracy stuff.

some call these, body "art"? A few tiny ones near nether areas, are probably OK. But talk to those unfortunates who have, at enormous expense, turned their skin into an advert that says, "Adolescent impulsive low self esteem stupidity can linger till advanced age, just look at me". These sad cases, once more mature, show a number of characteristics. Almost universal regret. Efforts to cover up. And increasingly, at enormous cost and generall poor cosmetic result, laser removal treatments. How many parents have tried to discourage this pathetic self abuse, when so many less toxic alternatives to identity issues exist? Try adopting the Goth lifestyle, for example. When you grow up finally, all you need to do is to ditch the clothes, and rejoin humanity. But other opinions exist on this topic. Aa.

With the rise of AI, is humanity doomed? Or are we flourishing like never before?




Robotic world is taking over almost everything that we can think of. The question is? What are the pros and cons?

My personal opinion is that, it is good, for as long as we don't get superficially controlled by them and completely take over our human ability to think and act independently.

Death is a somber thought but we must all die. Some may think that we are born only to die but between birth and death, the gods gave us a life.

have to live (for 6 months minimum) like the people they will be representing. I mean, how, otherwise, how could they understand what our struggles are? Let them understand that the tip they leave for a nice dinner, could be all some have to live on for a month. That some people can't afford to be sick. That living "paycheck to paycheck" is frustrating and challenging..... That a difficult decision is NOT whether to buy the $300.00 boots or the $1500.00 boots, but whether you can afford to buy boots at all....just sayin'...

Here we go, heading towards 2017 at a rate of knots - some alone for the first time, some have been single for a while, some even in the early stages of who knows, fingers crossed, might be good, hopes for 2017 ...

But this blog is for those of us on our own for Christmas, and how we plan to spoil ourselves just a little. Got your plans in place?

I'm writing this blog while I wait for a delivery of some Christmas treats (slotted delivery time, between 6.30 and 7.30, and it is now 7.11 pm) (where is he?)

Anyone else decided on their treat(s)? Any good ideas to throw into the pot?

And those who have fab plans lined up, that's nice for you - but rather please share your best ways of enjoying time alone, 'kay?

Apart from being on CS, of course - music, or films, or climbing trees, or -oooooh! Delivery just arrived!

How would you best describe the stage interesting, one on one, conversation goes with the opposite sex. Let's say it is a conversation between you and a person you might be interested in dating.

During these stages, what turns you off?
When does it become boring and you want to prevent that from happening?
What keeps you engaged completely?
How soon before you get into topics of private matters?

What if your life is not some dramatic Hollywood movie and it is somewhat mundane?
What if you are not comfortable talking about private issues?
Are there any tricks to the trade in the art of conversation one could gently extract that?

From my experience, most conversations starts with the meaningless chit chat...."oh, you do that for work." "I do this." "This is what I do for hobbies and the music I enjoy." blah,blah,blah....put me to sleep after days of emails back and forth with that stuff.

So....what stages do you find a good conversation takes to maintain and interesting dialog between you two?

I know...most conversations are spontaneous and most people do not think of it as stages...but, there has to be an underlying pattern?
