Why do men date beautiful girls bang them but never marry them?,i'm not married and when i look around in the streets or wherever i go i see ugly women with nice looking guys like me holdings hands walking together pushing their babies in strollers, has anyone of ever asked him/herself why do guys opt to go for ugly women when they decide to settle down?!!.
I’ve been trying to find a word that sums up the older single for my books and today I found a newish one on the internet, SWOFTY – single woman over fifty. Can’t find the male equivalent, maybe because a SMOFTY sounds like moffie, which in SA means a gay man.
Surely CS, many of us over that invisible dividing line, can coin something good? I'm not crazy about the phrase "mature singles", it sounds far too grown-up, and we could run into truth-in-advertising laws there anyway, I looked up mature –
Fully developed powers of mind and body / Complete in natural development / Ripe / Perfect (as in a plan maturing) / Grown up / Fully fledged, developed, experienced, knowledgeable, sophisticated. Okay, so we aren’t fully matured yet
Back to the drawing board ...
And yes, yes, any hilarious little trolls, "has-beens", very amusing. Trit trot along, this is for us feisty fifties and spicy sixties and our
friends, ‘kay?
The laws of physics would have it that no resource is infinite. Well...I don't know if there is any law of physics like that but it stands to reason.
I have been hearing a lot about love on here lately. People craving it. People yearning for it. People searching for it. People so desperately hoping to find it. As should be the case, we are on a dating site with most of trying to find a loving partner.
We are craving that warm hand. We are looking for that person who understands up. We are hoping to find that person that will accept us for who we are. We are trying to connect with that person who will fulfill our lives and bring a comforting harmony. We are looking for so much more in which beautiful love can offer.
If you are a person who cannot provide that same level of quality of life to somebody else. In other words, you are only a taker and not a giver. One can only take for so long until the exhaust your partner's giving resources.
I see a lot of I want, I want, I want on blogs...
I wonder if we will see any I will give, I will give, I will give blogs soon?
By default....everyone wants something.
By love...everyone should be willing to give as well.
Just my thought for the day.
:)
Enjoy the beautiful Monday all...at least I have one here.
online today!
My Special Place
Away from my house, there's an outdoor lounge, plush sofas and a fireplace, a view over the town and olive trees growing on the hills.
Trees, shrubs and a multitude of flowers greet you as you walk to my special place, scents of flowers and the sounds of birds singing.
Visitors come, some are sad, some are happy, they sit there in that special place and feel OK, they smile, they leave happy.
I sit there and think, I sit there and carve wooden sculptures...I sleep there sometimes.
At night the Moroccan candle holders and lights create a perfect atmosphere, it can be romantic, or it can be functional.
A fire warms you in winter, faces glow in its light, all happy and serene.
It’s outdoors but indoors, it’s indoors but outdoors...a special place.
Do you have a special place?
Who are we? Without feedback from others? Without a job that we have made business owners money for.
Who are we?
What do you think? Who are you?
Should passing down an inheritance be not allowed?
I heard a person on the news make that suggestion, inheritances should not be passed down to the family....or anyone. I am assuming the government would gain control of it.
What do you think?
I would say, with a NON-CORRUPT government, we would not have 1% of the people owning such a large portion of the wealth of our country.
I would think that business owners would have a great incentive to reward their employees well.
I would think that there would not be one single hungry mouth to feed or one homeless person.
I would think that our infrastructure would be top notch.
I would suspect there would be a smaller portion of unhappy people...due to stress with money issues.
At first, this idea sounds crazy....as does anything that creates change has the potential of doing. But, what would it mean overall for a society?
