It's Black Friday and I'm so excited. I've been looking online and I'm absolutely buzzing. The offers on some electrical goods are amazing. Laptops with 20% off, TV sets down by as much as 25%, and all manner of computing accessories at giveaway prices. There are coffee machines with ? off and toasters at ½ price. I've seen hair care and shaving gift sets at ridiculously low prices, and scented candles and aromatic oils.

If only I needed, or even slightly wanted, a laptop, a TV set, a coffee machine, a toaster, computing accessories, scented candles or aromatic oils; if only I wasn't pissed off by all the emails from Amazon and Ebay and God knows who else warning me not to miss out on this Black Friday extravaganza; if only I weren't a grumpy, irascible old git who just wants to be left alone, what a fantastic day it would be.

I’ve come to the inevitable conclusion that I’m not going to find my other half in life. So I’m going to make arrangements with an Italian man in LA to “blow off steam” so to speak. I found him on a discreet site. Well he found me and threw me a like. May as well pick a man I want to do that with…the very best. He is the very best.

The thing is though is that I post my best photos online. I’m not gonna look like that at a drop of a hat. It takes time to look good so I’m hoping he doesn’t say can I see you right now?? I always dread that question. The last time that happened the guy said you look nothing like your picture. I told him I told you I’m not made up. I have no makeup on. Before he could respond he deleted me. So I dread it.

I want to do this before I get too old and have no libido left. I don’t know what will happen in the future. It’s possible that I won’t even care about it anymore and I dread that too.

So thanks Luke for telling me to just do it. I agree with you. It’s gonna pass me by and I’ll regret it. The years are going by fast now. Might as well do it before I can’t get men that are perfect 10s anymore. He’s 45 and a perfect 10. Man he’s gorgeous.

In other news, I have a big interview coming up for a medical assisting position. I actually can’t wait for it because the sooner it happens the quicker I will find out if I’m hired or not. I will take interviewing suggestions down below. And no they’re not male so I can’t use my sex appeal. Lol.

But if I get hired I will be celebrating with Mr. Mambo Italiano.

My bank in Spain will shortly have the technology to produce the details of a payment – not just that I bought at a supermarket, but the copy of the sales slip. Woah!

Maybe not that efficiently, since they had the wrong retailer listed against the payment but the PDF option promised ‘soon’.

When my daughter visited recently she brought UK bank forms for me to change my address, and took them back with her. A week later when I tried to transfer funds to my euro card, which is operated through a completely different bank, it was declined because my address had changed. No problem, I could create a new account with correct address linked to the same card, but

When I logged in to do my UK tax return HMRC said “right, you earned this much from this employer, and this was the PAYE deducted. Then this much through the temp agency, and this was the PAYE deducted."

Not complaining, since the P60 from the temp agency has never caught up with me and I was intending to show it as untaxed income rather than faff around (not a big amount) but has anyone else noticed Big Brother is keeping much closer tabs than before?

Hi all, finally after 4 months in Bali, I'm back in Jakarta. Despite the beautiful beaches around where I live, it was really though to be away from your kids. Another thing is, for stupid reason some sites are blocked in Bali, including connectingsingles, which really surprised me as at least I knew 2 bloggers who used to live in Bali.

Anyway just wanna say hello to fellow bloggers and sorry for anyone who sent me messages and got no reply.
