If life is so unpredictable...

Not so long to hear from friends news of their beloved's cancer, fatal diseases or sudden deaths...

If life is so unanticipatable like that, what can we do to make the most of our existence on earth?

Such a hectic day really worn me out but that was good as i felt a bit more useful and somehow forgot my obsession. But my gym instructor's news of his father's blood cancer dragged me back to questioning my life and others'.

If only all people were nice with one another and there was no conflict of interests, then maybe there will be no toxic chemicals for foods, no wars... oh it is just "if only"...

If we can't change the facts, what attitude should we adopt? If i can't find my man in next 10 or 20 or 30 years, should i still restrain myself from having sex or just have some pleasure with NSA relation? But will that be an opportunity cost for pursuing the right man? Will i lose chances of having my match if i m invloved in NSA? What is a bad or good woman?

Haha, crazy me. Shouldn't think so much i guess. But can't stop ponder over such bad news from life. All the best wishes for those leaving the earth and for those who are left with unhealable pains. May you all strength to lessen the grief and reach peace in mind.

I wish i do really wish there will be no more sad news crying

Have You Ever Questioned The Religion, Culture and Way Of Life That You're Born Into ?

I did! And As I grow older and able to see, feel and experience life, I' able to make sense of things around me and form my own belief.

I was born Christian, spent many years with nuns, raised in very conservative society, with big loving family who raised me into a good person able to differentiate differences between good and bad, moral and immoral, acceptable and not acceptable according to norm in society.

I've sit, eat , work and sleep with people from different race, beliefs and culture...and I found we have one thing in common - we are all human being with a big need for love and acceptance and there's good and bad in all of us and religion has nothing to do with it.

I've learned that by accepting our differences from one another sets us all free and creates a better world.

I've learned that my religion does not make me a better person, my common sense and how my parents raised me has a lot to do with that. Religion will not save my a**, it will not make me happy, all religious books contains contains plenty bullshit. I believe doing good things for myself and others is enough to get me to heaven, if there's one.

I know with all my heart that whatever god maybe is a good god and sees the good and bad in everyone. If he's truly coming to judge everyone one day, I think he'll put me in the blue corner, among those non-judgemental, non-fear-mongering kind, loving and respectful people. Amen!yay

different struggles but one dstiny

i just feel like putting this blog out there
dont judge me coz of where i am coming from or where i am at
but where i am going .

sometimes people in our lives let us feel worthless because we may not have a a sophisticated job , drive a fancy car or own a mansion .
we are looked upon as being worthless.

everyone wasnt born to do the same level of jobs , drive the same kind of cars , own the same size house if so who would empty the bins? who would buy your older model cares or even work on them? where would everyone find enough land space to accommodate all the mansions ?

we all have our place in this world and we werent all born to be high achievers .

but in the sense of the world we are all equal no matter what we do , own or have achieved we all have had our struggles and until u have been where i have been u can never call me worthless .

inspired by
something i see happens

and a part of my own

Pie

Sometimes I include a family size fruit pie in my weekly shopping. It could be cherry or rhubarb, but is more usually apple. I do my shopping at the weekend, and will typically have a piece of the pie mid morning on the following day, with a cup of coffee. I then cut the pie into segments and put it into the freezer. It normally lasts me for the following two weekends. I am single and live alone, so my customs and habits are of little consequence to anyone other than myself, but it has occurred to me that I would find this pie carry on very irritating if practised by someone I had to live with, so I must assume that anyone who had to live with me would also find it trying. In all conscience, were I ever to find myself becoming romantically entangled with someone, I would feel morally bound to declare my pie situation before things became too serious. There are also other matters that I would feel obliged to be up front about. hole

If I decide, I will stick to it.

In life, I have experienced a lot of difficulties. I have a good personality: perceverance. I would also cry when I was beat up by the difficulties, but i will scrape off the tears, keep on dealing with the difficulties. If I have a belief, I will need a lot of solid proof to persuade me to give up my own idea. But when i make a decision, I would not regret even I have losses in that decision. I decide it, that's it. I will pay what I decide.

What happened to life?

Woke up Thursday morning to find I had no internet connection, tried all sorts of ways to resolve this... nothing worked. Only when I phoned the phone company did I find out my line had been “suspended”... Silly boy forgot to pay his April bill (Doh!)

So, dashed up to the post office and paid the bill. Half an hour later the phone worked... Great, but, no internet... bugger!

Four fricking days obsessed with trying to get back online, spent every waking hour without success trying to get my mobile phone to download apps and nipping off to hotels to use internet stations that barred me from everything.

I eventually realized.... I am caught in the technology trap whereby life revolves around a keyboard and screen or a TV.

Looking forward to tomorrow when am flying out to meet the light in my life, swapping warm sunny days for the rain and the cold where there is no TV and a whole month of not needing a computer, just lots of hugs and cuddles, home cooking, dancing and all the things that life entailed before technology cocked it all up!

what were you doing?

Has your life changed in small ways, huge ways, or not at all?

In 3 years you can get pregnant, have a baby, and have a toddler trying to get your attention right now. In some ways, quite a long time. In some ways, a blink of the eye.

I picked 3 years because it's coming up to when I first joined CS. That started a series of changes which could continue for years.

There was a revolutionary year before that but the 10 years before - well, I can't actually remember a single thing of interest that happened in the whole 10 years, apart from crashing one car and buying another. yawn

You?
