Women were created for one man, men for more than

i hardly start to believe that women were created for a relationship with one man but the men for more than one woman at a time.... i know some of you wont agree with me but if you honestly observe the situation in all angles you will be agree .

If I had to describe myself

I dare to be a Human the iam, unfinished, but happy,
insecure in a new and yet inquisitive, sometimes anxious in decisions

confused in the oversupply of Ideas, but also enthusiastic about little things

Doubtful and hesitant, then again brave and serious, enchanted by words or withdrawn silent

Sometimes torn and full of contradictions,
but also one-sided and naive,

And even more I am,often fail to accurately describe,And yet I dare
to accept my self like this,
like i am,

whether I'm for it loved or not

I wish you all a nice Dayhandshake

2016

Like most years, before the Mods get round to cleaning up all the resurrections and other items I'd like to wish everyone thats active on CS, the healthy, wealthy and needy, the desert dwellers, the Ice mongers on the poles, the addicts and alcoholics, the sick, lame and lazy, scammers, trolls and most importantly all the genuine lonely ladies and gents on CS a very prosperous and happy 2016.

May happiness, health and wealth shadow you in 2016..

What's wrong with people

Every evening without fail I am watching Zelensky on our news and each evening it is the same ole same ole...feed me feed me feeeeeed me weapons. Never do I see reports of the real hungers in the world.

Give a brat what he wants and you create a monster ...
But where he is wrong, we have wronged him by NOT leaving him to clean up his own mess, if we HAD the mess the worlds in, would not be as bad.

There is so many wrongs in this war which began with Ukraine people sad flower
but that pity quietened with me when their racist ways snuck in the back door...
or did it?

Correct me if I am wrong but was there a ruling when it came to immigrating, seeking shelter and safety elsewhere, the announcement was Ukraine's first, brown people second, black, last. I have watched footage where people of color have been pushed and turned away and no" I have not watched such footage on the news.... must be something wrong with people when they think such is NOT worth reporting.

I don't know much about political wars or such and reasons.....
but what I do know is right from wrong, what is fair and unjust, what is pride and shame, what it means to win how it feels to lose.

In my books all the wrongs the unjust the shame and loss does not fall on Zelenskys shoulders alone...
its shared with the people who rather feed a man to kill, then feed one, to live sad flower

If you don't like my views....... TOUGH, spare me your complaints talk to hand

Oh' and since its fathers day in Ireland inniu .....
A though for all the fathers that WILL die today sad flower

Raining again

Welcome to Sunny Spain they said
320 days of sunshine a year they said
Meanwhile I had to put the light on in the kitchen to see to make coffee moping
and it is dark and dank and drizzling and dreary and dreich and

oh, dreich? a Scottish word. Definition - A combination of dull, overcast, drizzly, cold, misty and miserable weather. At least 4 of the above adjectives must apply before the weather is truly dreich. Yup, it's dreich.

sigh

Roll on next week when the sun comes back, and at least it will come back, in Scotland this would be it until about March.

Another sigh. sigh

You can see this isn't an English website, there's no category for weather. Or an emoji for a nice cuppa tea.

A 'Day' in my life.

Someone suggested why not make a video about a day in your life?

I was dubious and thought it would be egotistical, but I was assured it would be watched. So I did it.

[I note you tube analytics shows an average of 35 people have watched my prior videos. Many just watched part of them and only a few watched the videos in entirety.]

I selected two 'simple' projects that need doing and decided I would make a one day video of me doing them. LoL, here it is day 4 and the second roject is only half done.

My camera is a pocket digital. It saves video in a large avi file. Very large for some reason. A ten minute video saved in avi format is over a gigabyte in size. Shouldn't be, but it is. Firmware in the camera, nothing I can do about that. So I convert each day's shoot to wmv format which shrinks it all down enormously making it practical to upload them to youtube.

A problem I hit is each day's video shoot requires about 6 hours of PC run time to convert the images to wmv format and edited down to 10 or 20 minutes each. That's with Windows Movie Maker (WMM).

Don't get me wrong. WMM does a good job (and it was free), but wow, it is slow to load the avi files and even slower to convert them once told to.

So anyway, somewhere, in each of the 3 days is 5 or 6 hours of time spent converting and editing 5 or 6 avi files into one wmv file suitable for upload.

A second nuisance I hit was since I had selected two back yard projects, I was rewarded with hours of rain at times I wanted to shoot the video. Yes, the camera is waterproof. However, my tools aren't and I am not sure I am either, so no video was filmed during rain showers. Therefore I have had hours of rain each day with nothing happening while the rain falls.

Indeed, even now it is raining, which is annoying, not only because I think I need one more video to complete the series, but also because it is supposed to go over 100 Fahrenheit (38 Celsius) once the rain stops. I would much rather be sitting under the air conditioner then.

Also somewhere in there I had two medical appointments and also a visiting Nurse decide to pop in. Those also disrupted filming.

I was hoping for some feedback from someone I shared them with, but silence. laugh

So anyway, with some nervousness and trepidation, here is 'a day' in my life. Hopefully {perhaps) others will do this too.

The First Morning

Waiting for my Nurse

Repairing a truck tire

Attacking the mowers (day 2)

Attacking the trees

I hope it is not all too boring. One more to make I think to finish project 2 and 'the day.'

Funny Turn

The man at the check out next to mine at the supermarket last Saturday had a funny turn recently; I know that because I heard his wife telling someone. I was glad she wasn’t my wife; I wouldn’t like my funny turns to become public knowledge. For an habitual eavesdropper like me, supermarkets are good places to indulge the habit. Many is the time I have taken longer than necessary to come to a decision about which washing up liquid I most like the look of in order not to miss vital information being exchanged between chatting shoppers, mistakenly thinking they are having a private conversation.

I find women's conversations are the most interesting. Men usually just talk about work or sport, whereas women seem to be more interested in things of a personal nature. It can be quite an eye opener. I often wonder how many thousands of husbands there must be up and down the country under the delusion that their embarrassing medical conditions are family secrets.

If I see someone I know when I am shopping, I usually dodge down the next aisle in order to avoid them. I can’t see the attraction of prolonging my shopping trip by wasting time nattering, but I appreciate those who can.

Therefore I am

The original* is philosophical not specific, I know that, borrowing the words not the thoughts for this blog.

If I think I am happy, I am surely happy? I think.

but ....

If I think I am sane, am I sane?

They do say only the mad think they are sane. uh oh Split the difference. I’ll accept interestingly eccentric, albeit financially challenged. grin

If I think I am the most drop-dead gorgeous creature on CS, well, I am free to think that, but what others think does have to play a part. laugh

So how much does what others think I am, affect what I am? If I value someone’s opinion, and suddenly find out they think I am an idiot, does their opinion still have value? confused

My builders thought I was rich and gullible, and to be fleeced of every possible cent. very mad My daughter thinks I am going through a midlife crisis, starting with the books I’ve written, especially the Clarissa ones, now with moving abroad, and wishes I would settle down and take up crochet. Talking of Clarissa, a younger friend of mine now thinks I am deliberately torturing him by refusing to become his domme until he is submissive enough. Dyeing my hair green and getting purple and blue slashes tattooed on my face, well, I didn't, but so far as I can see no-one reads long paragraphs. I have a friend who thinks I am in denial about being old and need to start with the blue rinses already. Actually, more than one. uh oh

I think they’re all wrong.

(There are some who see me the way I want to see myself - even some who see me as braver, cleverer, more talented, more capable than I am. hug There are the special few who, whatever they think, support and help me on my way.)

I think I’m right, therefore I am.

Did somebody mention Motorhome?

Bought one a good number of years ago and had a fantastic time touring Portugal. Sadly it now sits abandoned in the drive waiting for some TLC.

With my retirement years quickly approaching, the idea of an American all singing all dancing motorhome is very apealing.
