I have been exercising very routinely, welldone!

I have been exercising routinely, Sometimes I feel a bit lazy, so I would purposely walk to a far area, and force myself to run back. I now realize exercising is a part of life, people need observe health by exercising almost everyday. I also try to eat healthily. I cut down sugar, and eat yoghurt with sweetner. And try to eat more vegetables, and sometimes fish and lamb, beef.

mail order brides..

why is it that american men are travelling to europe looking for a bride ??
well most men interviewed say that american women are not up to the job,
as they do not take care of themselves the way european women do ,
they are loud and brash ,
and are not well educated, among a lot of other reasons ,,
and to be honest i some how agree with them , in europe women are more graceful not only in appearance
but also in most aspects of life ,they are well educated ,have a good understanding of world wide affairs
and plan well for the future,,,,
and why is this the case,, well only 10 percent of americans actually hold a passport ????
yet in europe virtually every one has a passport ,, hence europeans learn a lot more about culture and living,
where as the majority of americans only ever see america so can never compare with other ways of life ...

Life in general.

Have you ever been watching a sporting event on television that went into overtime and the event lasted longer than anticipated?

Right after that event, the television announces we are now bringing you to your regularly scheduled program already in progress.

That is life.

We just jump into life already in progress.

Isn't that a bit weird to think about?

Where did we come from? What were we watching before and what is the program going to be after?

cheers dunno

Maybe more like a video game too...where it is a television program that is interactive.

What role do we play in it?
and
Have we overstepped our boundaries in this interaction? ....meaning, have we become too aware or knowledgeable of our situation and have we come to expect more from it than originally anticipated?

...just some thoughts

When we were given this physical vehicle (our bodies)...has our freewill accepted this challenge? Were we just randomly given it? Or were we forced to accept it? For ultimately what purpose?

...just some more thoughts

laugh

Are we here to solve a problem/mystery? Are we here to help others to make future watcher/players better off than we are/were? Are we just meant to be workers? Or, are we here to just hoard resources for ourselves? For sure though...we are here to reproduce vehicles(bodies) to allow new players to enter.

As far as we know...through our span of interacting (till our death), we are ultimately judged as to whether or not we were good or bad for the overall television program. Did we positively or negatively contribute? At least that is what our multi-thousand year old religions makes us believe. Religion...the "already in progress" television program's collective message.

My old fashion BlackBerry

Yesterday, I had a casual meeting with my secondary friend. He has been living in New Zealand for 25 years. We talked a lot. I need to show him pictures of my projects. So I hand to him my mobile phone. He opened up the cover....."OMG Lindzy, you are still using BlackBerry!! You need to change this phone." I laughed hearing his comment. That is not the first time to hear that comment over my BlackBerry. Few times, my boys do comment, " Mommy, you need to change this phone, it is out of fashion. Our phones are even better than your BlackBerry." I laughed, " Son.... I agree with you, it is old fashion...BUT....the best thing is.....even old fashion, it helps me to maximize my work and bring money to pay school fees.comfort

My Bellagio BlackBerry was bought around 2011-2012, after losing my second BlackBerry. It is the third BlackBerry that complete my life. Yes...I am a fans of BlackBerry. I love the qwerty type keypads. I ever try to use touch screen phone, but it is uncomfortable. My fingers are too large for the touch screen keypads. Create many wrong typing. Few of my friends also find the same difficulty in using soft touch phones. Honestly...it needs more time to understand their texts because of too many wrong typing. Some change their phones to bigger size...while I still prefer small phones which is easier to carry and use.laugh

Luckily.....I am not the type of person who puts pride on belongings. I dont want to waste time busy searching and buying things just to show pride. My pride is having proper sense of own value and that is the correct level of respect for the important and value of my personal character, life, efforts, or achievements.

teddybear teddybear Happy day CS....

Sorry...if the picture of the BlackBerry did not show up. Hahahaha...lack of knowledge posting pictures.

When Solitaire's the only game in town

More and more people in their 30s and 40s are choosing to be alone, to have a social network but no partner and no lasting ties. Most people on their own would rather have someone to go out with than to come home to. In fact the number of single-person households across the world has sky-rocketed by 80% in the last 30 years. The biggest age-group within that statistic is 35 to 64.

And at 64? Probably time to find a soulmate so you’re sorted for the last stretch.

One small problem, long-term singles are awfully picky. You might consider giving up your single status for someone who looks amazing, is excellent company but gives you space when you want it, will hop into bed and perform with gusto when but only if you are in the mood, and eventually look after your every need, including financial, as you move through the foothills of approaching age into the unknown. Anyone less, nah.

roll eyes

You could lower that bar, of course. There are a million websites offering to introduce seasoned singles to other seasoned singles. Find your very own lightly creased companion for the years ahead while you both have enough vigour and energy to get used to being together. Some do come with children, even grandchildren. No?

How about a young looker from another country who would rather be in your country and will in return be nice to you and look after you? You do need quite big bucks for that one. No?

So, looking ahead, what happens when there aren’t children so there won’t be grandchildren to make you feel young, when work isn’t the be-all and end-all that it was, and retirement looms, or has already landed. When the partner for life, if there ever was one, is no longer there. When being alone is no longer a choice but has suddenly become reality . . . uh oh

Problem?

Turns out, nah, not quite so much as you might think. The first few comments are bits that would have made this too long a blog. (Too late, too late!)

EGGS

So here's the deal- if you buy your eggs in a carton, do you use them all from one end towards the other, or do you use them from both ends of the carton to keep the weight balanced? Nothing shits me as badly as when you pick up an egg carton, and all the weight is at one end. Why must these morons do this? Cant they see how dangerous it is using them this way as somebody not prepared for it could easily drop them.

The price of being sick

Normally I like to begin my yard work in mid May. The April showers have finished, the grass has been growing since mid February, and a mowing in mid May will usually last till early July for the meadow grass.

Sadly, as some know, this year mowing in mid May was not an option for me. So some rains, some sun, some more rain..

Well today I decided to tackle it. OMG, some of the meadow grass is over 40 inches tall already. And while I was in the hospital the vines took over some of my windows and buried my poor hedges.

Did I mention my poor 1950s tractor with the 5' bush hog has a flat (original to the tractor, a Chief tire) tire and I am waiting on a new replica tire to arrive so I can mount it?

Fortunately I am both cleared for exercise, and I have a back up plan. A top of the line DR Field and Brush Mower.

So today I began attacking my side yard.

Hacking away

Here, the pesky vines have been dealt with, but work on the side yard is barely begun.

As sundown nears, the side yard is done. Note the tip of the DR sticking out. :)

Not done yet, acres of meadows on the other side and in front to go, but I am sure me and the DR can do it. Hoo Rah!

RS, I loved the ending of tonight's Game of Thrones. Dragon Power. :)

Done lost my job!! Boo Hoo!! (Actually Hee Hee!)

Practically everyone on CS knows I am a believer in the Almighty God. So this morning when I was called into HR to get the news I was laid off the HR rep looked so teary that I knew she didn't want to tell me. My Supervisor, Victor, could hardly control himself with being sorry I was being let go.

They were full of words of sympathy because I had worked good and they trusted me because of the sensitivity of house building information they
had all over the place. In their computers and in their desks as well. But my training as an Accountant told me to keep my nose clear of privy matter. And I built a great trust with the office staff.

My work was also very good. My super, Victor, never asked me to do anything because he knew I had it covered. The guys in the warehouse all liked me and me them. And so when the part of "references" came up the HR rep and the supervisor saying they would give me a glowing reference I knew I could count on them. They like me, I like them and I had their trust.

I believe that God always has a reason for things. I am about to move to Laughlin, Nevada. I was sad because I knew I had to tell the company I was leaving. SOOOO! When I smiled and told them things have worked out and where I was going it was like jubilation and celebration. And again they told me over and over they would give me all the support I needed!

Am I breaking my arm patting myself on the back? NOPE!!! I am giving God all praise, credit, honor and glory for all HE has done for me!! Amen & Amen!!
