I am not talking about only one gender here and everyone in particular. This will pertain to both the male and the female gender and to only some people within. This blog is not directed at any one person…in fact, this thought has been with me for some time and only now have I figured out how to express it.

Many of us get our identity from the feedback we receive from others. For example, if George does a lot of charitable things for his school, chances are, George will get positive feedback from the people who he helped out. If George does this throughout his life and continues to get this positive feedback, George may develop a positive image of himself. In other words, he will begin to identify with this feedback and develop his ego based on this feedback. It is human nature for people to do this.

Let’s, for the sake of this blog, just use the example of a beautiful woman. Lol….I know, figures coming from me. Okay, it can really be any woman…or any man for that matter. But, I want to stick to the beautiful woman because it is easier to explain and to understand. Since her childhood, Margy grew up getting praise from her parents on how beautiful she is and how she is such a princess. When she gets into her teenage years, she starts to discover all the boys are giving her tons of attention. Even the girls gravitate toward her. Margy….well, she really is a truly beautiful woman. She is tall, perfect body, beautiful eyes, beautiful everything…..just a gorgeous girl. Well, Margy starts to discover that she can say anything and do anything and everybody just laughs with her and supports her behavior.

Now, into young adulthood, Margy, still a beauty queen as she was in her teens, continues on with the same behavior. She can be rude to others. She can get her way with everyone. She can dictate situations to her own personal satisfaction. The guys she is around never attempt to speak up. After all, most of them are after only one thing. The women she is around never attempt to speak up. Heck, if I am friends with Margy, she will be opening up opportunities for me with the people she has around.

Pretty soon, Margy, from all this “false” feedback, believes she is more in life than she really is. Until, her true close friends and family step in and try to offer her advice. Maybe, they try and point out the woes of her ways? However, Margy knows they are just trying to be rude, or, they are even jealous of her. Afterall, throughout my life, Margy thinks, I have never done no wrong. Nobody has ever spoken to me the way my “so-called” close friends and family are speaking to me.

Confusion and possible reality sets in….only after Margy ages and loses the “power” of her beauty.

So, being a beautiful person can be dangerous. One might think it breeds narcissism. Sometimes having people in your life that “check” you once in awhile, can be a great thing.

Of course, this can happen with men too.

What do you all think...yeah/no/maybe so?

I have a big problem with the phrase "drugs and alcohol". It makes it seem like alcohol is somehow different from other drugs.

Alcohol IS a drug.

Alcohol can be just as destructive as the hardest of drugs out there, it destroys lives, rips apart families, causes more trouble than we will ever know.

For some reason, we don't seem to recognize alcohol for what it is because it is accepted in society. We like to think that somehow alcohol is ok while a draw of weed is the devils smoke. I got news for you, alcohol is far more damaging than weed and alcohol has caused more problems in society than weed ever will.

I had to quit drinking alcohol years ago because of what it done to me. I had lots of friends at one point and lost most every one of them because I would get drunk and turn into a a**hole. It made me dirty minded and unsociable.

I know a lot of people who drink and I know a lot of people who smoke up. I can tell you that the smoker is more straight minded, never prone to violence, and never prone to making a a** out of themselves. I can't say the same for the drinkers.

Imagine there are two parties happening on a street. One is a pot party and the other is a alcohol party. Here is a rundown on how the night progresses at each of the parties.

The pot party has a handful of people sat around the table passing around some joints. They are laughing, carrying on, music is on but not too loud, they have a pizza later in the night, then goes home and everything is fine, still the best kind of friends the next day.

The alcohol party is out of control, wicked loud music and noise from people screaming out, cops been called 3 times or more, people into fights, a girls probably gets raped at some point. House gets trashed, Friends get split up because they get drunk and stupid.

I know this because I been to both parties and I know what happens at these type of parties. I have spent time with both the drinker and smoker and I can tell you hands down that alcohol is far worst than pot will ever be.

The next time you hear someone say "drugs and alcohol", tell them they should just be saying "drugs" because alcohol is a drug like any other, its only because we accept it in our society that we treat it different.

Today was is a perfect day and its these days that make a man happy to be alive. Everything is just perfect...

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just rent a wife for maybe a month or two, . . . Or.maybe lease.one for a.year,. .. that came with a service warranty.

Just getting back from taking a small trip....nothing significant to talk about...but, along the way I bought a pack of new socks. You know that little plastic thingy that holds them together...well, I just realized that you don't need to break that to get the socks loose. One side is designed a little thinner than the other side to allow it to bend and pull through the sock. It only took 30 years to realize that...unless it is a new design.

This morning i stops by at Starbuck to have my usual cup of latte , it was packed so i share my table with a japanese guy, seems thats he's on his way to work also.
He was wearing a khaki colored pants and light pink with stripes short sleeves shirt, black totes of Barneys and brown loafers. Looking sharp.

He was polite, he sits, put his tote next to him, drop his pack of smoke on the floor when he was getting them out, picks them up , drop his lighter on the floor again as he was getting it out , picks it up , lit his smoke , pick up a call , talk fast , smoke fast , drink his coffee fast , get up , walk fast , enter his building, gone .
10 minutes is all that it takes for him to do all that

I wonder, if that's how i should really be with my mornings, ultimate hustler.

Anyways TGiF !

I dont want to be a part of crowd.

If this is really a lifestyle.
Then i dont like to live like it.

If you are happy with a part of it , its upon you.
But for me its not a life bcs you are happy to follow someone.

I turned 40 last month and everyone is saying oh your 40s will be exciting. Nope. I feel like each year that passes is even more boring than the previous year. And I don’t mean boring like I have nothing to do. I mean psychologically boring. I always have plenty to do. I want to know when life started to feel boring to you guys and what did you do to remedy it? I feel like I’ve experienced everything except marriage and children and no good on that front as I seemingly grow distant from men each year that passes as well. I’m becoming LESS of what they want.
