I'm thinking of getting a dishwasher.

In today's modern world, a man has little time or inclination for washing up. Especially all the greasy plates and cutlery, and all sorts of congealed muck which can grow fungus.

However, if I get a dishwasher and she cant cook properly or snorts when she laughs, technically I'd be better off doing them myself.

Our very own soap!

Every day thousands of people watch soap operas on television, they are fascinated by the volatile ins and outs of the relationships and daily lives of the programs characters.

I dont own a TV but thats not to say I am missing out, the latest episode on CS is playing out in real life and has everyone enthralled in the plot. As usual, the main character flits in and out of the scenes wanting to retire to a peaceful life but cant resist coming back to add comments.

Not only can I view the interactive posts on this channel but I also get the chance to see the "behind the scenes" action on the forum channel.

Of course this is not the only soap we have had on CS, apart from the bickering soaps that pervade our computer screens on a regular basis there have been other series' whereby the character once at deaths door is now a picture of health even posting pics of facials (still looks a bit pasty though grin )

Dont you just love soaps?.......... I do!dancing

Back to the good old days

The Middle Ages were cool. The common folk gathered together to let off steam, sing songs, and make bawdy s*xual jokes which were considered the height of wit, the cruder the better, and if some toilet humour could be added, people laughed so hard they farted rolling on the floor laughing grin

They accepted their lords and masters without question, even though they often mocked them mercilessly, and did as they were told even when that meant going off to fight, or their women being hauled off to the manor for a jolly rogering. They were bewildered or even angry when outsiders said they should work together to change things. CHANGE?

Outsiders who didn’t rock the boat were greeted with extreme hospitality because the villagers were vaguely aware that fresh blood in the gene pool was probably a good thing. They drank too much after a long week, fell into bed haystacks with each other - the prim Victorian age was many, many centuries in the future - and didn’t really keep track of who had fathered which baby, so a fair amount of inbreeding went on.

Their religion only ever became an issue if someone believed something else, when they became enraged to the point of apoplexy. They weren’t interested in anyone else’s point of view - their way or the highway pitchfork, bud

So - they were crudely mocking about sex, complained about their leaders, and were hostile about religious variations. I’ve been catching up on the blogs yay we’ve made it safely back to happier, simpler times!

I was wrong, Trump does care about the environment

It was reported last week that Trump's ex-Executive Assistant Molly Michael told investigators that Trump regularly reused paper in a bid to save trees.

He wrote to-do lists for her on the back of White House notecards used to brief him while in office, rather than recklessly binning them in landfill waste collection. They were only spoiled on one side with sensitive information and classification markings.

Molly Michaels went on to recycle the card through an FBI reclamation scheme.

15 years and now this, ungrateful sod

I can't believe the change in him since we came to Spain - oh, he's never been what you'd call devoted. There was a lot of open space in this relationship, but he was home every night. Well, nearly every night. Most nights. Even if I went to sleep alone he was there when I woke up, pressed up against me, well you know how it is. All lovey-dovey, eyes only for me, no-one else matters, yeah yeah. Whatever.

Fifteen years.

Now he comes home just to eat, gobbling his food, then he's gone again with barely a backward glance. He'd probably say it's my fault for dragging him on one too many property hunts. Huh. It's just an excuse. He's offended by living in a van and looking for better, that's crystal clear.

Well, fine. FINE. Throw away 15 good years. See the tear in my eye? No, because you won't. You can go to hell.

Stupid cat. mumbling

Women

As promised, my next blog was going to be about women, this time in a more positive light. There are many good women out there, as there are many good men as well.

There are many quality characteristics of a good woman. She is a nurturing person who more often than not see the shortcomings of another person. She will know exactly how to approach this person and offer kind advice to help them to see the errors of their ways.

The good woman can spot the underdog from across the room and take his hand out onto the dance floor and have a genuinely warm encounter while in mid-stride of the waltz. She will be the first person you know who will offer you sound advice on how to tend to an illness and will be the first one at your bedside when you cannot get up.

Both good and bad women can bare children, but the good woman will truly relish the moment she brings a new life into this world. She will naturally want to be around the baby as much as she can and be involved as deeply as possible in its life.

I am not aware of to many women who have ever forgot important dates, such as anniversaries, birthdays, or other special events. She is always very mindful of things such as this. Most women will give their partners the benefit of the doubt. I have heard on several occasions where a woman stayed with her man, while others around her could not understand why she did not leave him.

A good woman will know how to cook good food. laugh Just kidding.

There are tons of great qualities women have. A man should never take such women for granted and treat these beautiful souls as people who deserves his true love.

This is just a small few of the positive qualities I have witnessed first hand. I am sure if I had more time to construct this blog, I could have came up with many more.

What other positive qualities do women in general (or good women) have?

Mexicanos

Mexicans.

Do you really know a Mexican national?
Are we Mexicans; the disgusting waste of American society, according to Donald Trump says?
Why against Mexicans and not the Chinese?
Frankly I do not know, and despite being agnostic, the phrase "- poor México so far from God and so close to the United States-" seems an absolutely insane and frightening prophecy. moping
