Lying in my bed (with Sweetie napping by my side, as usual) I caught a memory whilst reading online, of one of my childhood dreams. This dream, in particular, was as a result of a popular show from the 70's-80's called "BJ and the bear". I remember it being fun, action-backed, and age-appropriate (of course), and my inspiration (which was probably fuelled by the 'tomboy' in me) was to drive an 18-wheeler like the one driven by the star of the movie!

During different periods in my life, and usually whenever I see these trucks, I'm awed by their presence - powerful, majestic, over-shadowing, amazing pieces of engineering. Yes, I still want to drive one!

Now that I'm retired, with the time to do something like that, I'm going to investigate how I could make this childhood dream come true.

That is so very true. Man's survival is always based in Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
At 49. I have a different perspective of love for a significant other. If I can survive without that person. That is not love. Just a fascination from a curious mind. About human interaction. It is different when you can not live without that person no matter what. The presence of pain or heartache is a sign to stay safe & welcome change. Most people can't accept rejection. It leads in stagnation. Preventing GOD'S assigned partner for them. Just let go easily. Do not linger in the moment of wanting someone or something. For me happiness is a state of mind. If I serve my purpose in someone's life. I let go. Life is a constant change along with time.

I was wondering about this a long time,If you had the mind that you have now,and you were born again,what would be your goal in your new life?
As for me? I would make my 2nd life's goal to be a Long Distance Runner

Sometimes choosing wrong words can create a rift in relationship.
Sometimes choosing wrong words can lead to war between two countries.
And sometimes choosing the correct words solves all the problems.

Your tongue is boneless but it can cause more damage than any weapon.

Truth is naked and ugly while Belief is well dressed and beautiful with make-up. Pure truth is tasteless hard and immutable because it is created by Nature whereas Belief is very tasty flexible and soft because we make it ourselves according to our wish.
The quality of Truth is that it is true for everyone and is acceptable by all. The drawback of Belief is that it varies from person to person and conflicts with each other. It is not wrong to live with one's own beliefs, but being bent on proving one's belief is the best and highest creates conflict among ourselves.
"You mind your own business and I'll mind mine, You kiss your own sweetheart and I'll kiss mine."

If we could create balance between Truth and Belief then our life and this world will become very beautiful.

Have you noticed that changing someones opinion in CS doesn't happen? Especially in politics. What you believe is what you believe and NOTHING factual posted here will make you change your mind.

I'll give some examples:
The 2020 election. It's been disputed (by the same small percentage) but no evidence came up to change it.

The Biden family is the most corrupt group in America. Right? This usually comes up when the talk is about Trump court cases. Yet, they haven't found any dirt on Biden needed to get a vote to start the impeachment process. That doesn't stop those who repeat him being the worst president in the US and the most corrupt.

Fake news... usually the ones who parrot that phrase listen to the news service of Fox who was sued by Dominion Voting Systems (and lost) in a settlement of $787 million.

The earth is flat. Yeah, it's all done by holograms.

Believing the posts on TRUTH social from it's creator, who was banned from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for making UNTRUE statements.

Denial of air pollution and climate change because in winter you had two feet of snow in your city. Let's discuss this in direct sunlight. Your place or mine?

America needs to start using sludge / tar oil from The Keystone XL Pipeline. Shall we because it's raising our gasoline prices. I guess, that hasn't been disputed enough on CS.

When Trump was president, Mike Lindell was in the news. I'm guessing he poured money into the Trump campaign and bought rights to have White House clearance as he was there often. He was banned from Twitter but not as a claim to fame. Let's (try to) get past that, but his name keeps popping up in some weekly news.
I think he was in the wave of those protesting of election fraud... I believe he was in the boat with attorney Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani. Those too have a handful of lawsuits against them and Mike is just icing on the cake.

This week, it's reported awaiting food at a Hardee's restaurant, the FBI with a warrant seized his cellphone.

Mike, next time, spend the $150 and get a pre-paid (burn) phone.

What is friendship? Is it any of the following:-

Prepared to help in any situation
Patient
Never gives up on you
Appreciates you and your personality
Doesn't compare you to other people
Never insults you
Recognises your qualities
Realises that no one is perfect
Doesn't categorise you as specific type
Does not judge you but tactfully indicates the possible choices you can make and their consequences.
Realises they don't completely know you

These are some qualities I think should exist, but what do you think?

Not matter what? we have to stay Positive!
And make the best of our daily life!
Either when it come down to catastrofe you could find something positve!
Each ob as are important,
Everyone ob as has talent just we have to find it! Always sorrender your self with positive people! People who will love and respect you not matter what?

Take a hobby that you will really enjoy!
Avoid stress by arriving to an interview at list 5 minutes early!
Take a piece of chewing gum, and chew it every time when you are nervous!
Do not stress your self thinking negative thoughts!
Do something nice for your self by buy a little thing as an icecream, smething that will make you happy!
By thinking in other people!
And thinking how they feel without money and a place to live!
That some how you are lucky
To have what you have!
