Where did my dream come from?
It's your first day at new office and as you walk down the halls you notice that everyone is laughing and pointing at you. Suddenly you realize that you have no clothes on and panic sets in and BOOM…. you wake up and realize it was all just a dream. As you sit and discuss your dream with your friends at the lunch table, you can't help but wonder, what does it all mean? Such a situation could not possibly happen, so where could such a horrible idea come from? Many dream analysts, philosophers, psychologists, and interpreters have pondered this question for centuries. Can anyone truly find the source of dreams or even control them? There have been arguments, debates and volumes of written on various theories on the true source of dreams.
One author of many dream articles, supports the theory that deities or the gods send dreams themselves. which vary in each culture.

The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud....
According to Freud, dreams allow unconscious desires, fears or emotions to express themselves in a disguised way. Dreams are an expression of wish fulfilment communicating through symbols.

Freud is presenting a case study and explains his belief that there is a psychological technique that makes interpreting dreams possible,

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and so society has also possessed those how refuse to look forward, those who resisted the great thinkers in science and civilization....

The Intricate Mind of Sigmund was also a complex man that was a genius in his field. Sigmund Freud's studies, theories and techniques have developed his 'theory of dreams' to go further in his analysis.

Sigmund Freud was a pioneer within the field of psychology who developed multiple theories that introduced the world to the inner meanings of the human unconscious,
His theories on hypnotherapy, psycosexual development, and defense mechanisms gives people the ability to control and predict their future behavior. These theories, being recognized as some of the most remarkable for free thinkers and scientists..

A Beggar and Booze

Sometimes we think we know everything. The sky is blue, grass is green, homeless people are addicts.

Ok so those aren’t really all equal, but you get the point. The majority of people in this world look down on the homeless. Sure there is a percentage of homeless people who are not very nice people for whatever reason. But do they all deserve to be where they are today? Are they all selfish, despicable individuals? The scum of the earth?

Here is the guy doing the experimentwink

Fiji history to look back to....

wow its been ages since i posted something here :D
Hi everyone wave

I think it was the same time last year i joined CS. Im glad to have made new friends, lost them and found news ones again lol..

I came across something interesting. I dunno if anyone here would be interested in History but i am. I find the past a lot more fascinating than the future LOL...though of coz my own past is something i wouldnt delve into :D

i found an old song that describes the origins of Fijians. It was passed down from generation to generation. Fiji is in the South Pacific and this song (legend) tells that the first people to come to Fiji were from South Africa. Well a couple really with their kids, the guy was SA and the woman from Egypt.

Its really amazing how people from all over are related to each other. Probs nothing you'd wanna know but i found it something that i could share to Fijian friends who may come across this blog. Vinaka!!(thank you)

The Wooden Bowl

I guarantee you will remember the tale of the Wooden Bowl tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now,
a year from now.

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year-old grandson.
The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered.
The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and
failing sight made eating difficult.. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.
When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.
The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess.
'We must do something about father,' said the son.
'I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.'
So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner.
There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner.
Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl.
When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone.
Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food.
The four-year-old watched it all in silence.
One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor.
He asked the child sweetly, 'What are you making?' Just as sweetly, the boy responded,
'Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up. '
The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.
The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks.. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.
That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table.
For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason,
neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.
On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things:
a rainy day,the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a 'life.'
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back sometimes.
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you.
But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.
I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.
People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that you should pass this on to everyone you care about.

This is to all of you who
mean something to me,
I pray for your happiness.

Hiding In Plain Sight

Just was watching an interesting story about surviving the holocaust...one woman's journey to prevent the Nazi's from capturing her and becoming one of their victims...Edith Hahn Beer is her name...but not for long...she even married a Nazi officer!!

A thought this is a sad subject matter...it is encouraging to know that despite the intolerance and hatred regarding the Jewish people...some people are kind and good...risking their own life to protect them...we need to remember history and learn from it...

It is called The Nazi's Officer's Wife...cannot put it up for you to view...but if someone else could that would be great...new tablet...still learning about it...wine

capitalism make me cry

socialism seem better suited for a kind thoughtful woman. capitalism is an unstable system only for overly aggresive selfish men.

the founding fathers of our country were sexist pigs.

As We Grow Older

As we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that: Whether we wear a $300 or $30 watch - - - they both tell the same time.
Whether we carry a $300 or $30 wallet/handbag - - - the amount of money inside is the same. Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3,000 or 30,000 sq. ft. - - -the loneliness is the same.

And, we realize our true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world. Whether we fly first or economy class, if the plane goes down - - - we go down with it. Whether we fly first or economy class, if the plane reaches its destination, everyone arrives at the same time. Therefore we should realize that when we have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, with whom we can chat, laugh, talk, sing, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth -- that is true happiness!

Six Undeniable Facts of Life
1. Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy, so when they grow up they will know the value of things, not the price.
2. Best wise words: "Eat your food as your medicines. Otherwise you have to eat medicines as your food."
3. The one who loves you will never leave you because, even if there are 100 reasons to give up, he or she will find one reason to hold on.
4. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few folks really understand that.
5. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved when you die. In between you have to manage!
6. If you just want to walk fast, walk alone; but, if you want to walk far, walk together!

Six Best Doctors in the World

1. Sunlight
2. Rest
3. Exercise
4. Diet
5. Self Confidence
6. Friends

And, finally: The nicest place to be is in someone's thoughts, the safest place to be is in someone's prayers; and the very best place to be is in the hands of God.thumbs up

FAKE AND REAL

I love poetry, but these are just lines to warn that there are wise manipulative scammers who know the primitive, instinctive brain function of men who search and hunt. Have no intention to offend the gentlemen around... but I have male friends who've encountered them. You have to immediately spot a scam because giving in is allowing these people to fool others and will encourage them more.

SCAMMER LINES

Fake (what could appear)

My dear tender love, you are so kind
I need some money, do you mind?
My mother left me plenty of debts,
Some properties and taxes death
Why not invest in wood industry?
I'm not telling a make-up story,
As you know I lost my phone
I always travel, no fix home.
I look forward to meeting you
But I know you work and busy too...
I hope you like my recent picture
I wear bikinis to show my figure
I think really highly of you
But I need money this is true!

Real (what a scammer thinks)

He knows I'm a pretty woman
But I'm a real wise black man
So he likes the photo I've sent
I'll have success, I'm so content.
I know he dreams of a good sex
Nothing wrong, a fine reflex
The big brain of men are his balls
They think of pu**y when a girl calls
He'll give money before he can mate
Will write tender sweet, to update!
Showing I care through a letter,
A way to say, I'm no scammer
I think he might be a sucker
Before I look for another!

Just be careful dear gentlemen,
Catch a scammer if you can!
