Why are there so many people in the blogs continually spreading misinformation regarding potus 45?

IMHO most of these bloviators seem to know little about the USA in any respect. It escapes me that these haters rent so much space in their heads to potus 45? I welcome all comments related to this blog's title.

Merry Christmas everyone! Go Bless you! wave Peace be with you. angel

Making plans for my next three holidays.

I have long been wanting to travel and to see the world. Most of my life, I haven't had the financial opportunity to pay for my own holidays, but now with me working, I can finally save up and enjoy holidays overseas. It started with the United States back in May. I am still blown away by the fact that it was back in May. I feel like I have just been there last month. Anyway!

Now that I have a stable income, I can now plan ahead for the next three years of holidays. They are as follows:

Italy with a friend next year. We're still debating on where we are going to go. I want to go to Rome, but my friend doesn't know where she wants to go. We'll get there soon.

In 2025, it's back to the USA again, to visit a friend in New York and take part in an American Halloween. Hopefully that'll be a fun time. I need to look at when it's best to book the flight. I might book it this time next year. The last time I went to the US, I went with Lufthansa via Frankfurt. This time I am planning on booking a direct flight from Copenhagen to New York, and luckily there is an airline which offers just that. I am willing to spend more on a direct flight.

In 2026, I'm heading to Southeast Asia, to a country in the western Pacific Ocean: The Philippines. I have always wanted to visit, and now that I have the money and ability to do so, I am definitely taking that trip. The Philippines is a big country, so there are many places to visit. I just need to find the right city to go to.

With all this holiday planning, I am thinking back to where I have been on holidays or layovers. It turns out, that I have been to quite a few places. Sweden, Norway, the UK, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, France, Malta, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Germany, the United States of America and the Netherlands.

One of these countries is one that I never want to visit again. To me, it's extremely overrated and I hate the capitol city. If you want to know, it's Paris. In movies and on promotional videos, Paris looks wonderful. Some might even say magical. But spend a few days there, and you're extremely disappointed with how filthy it is, how crime infested it really is and just how run down things are. Prague, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic - even if I got drunk on absinthe and passed out..

Anyway - For my next three holidays, I need to save up as much as I can. So far, it's going pretty well.

Get a piece of King Grifters suit...

I'm surprised no one picked up on this, but the suit that Trump wore in Georgia when he was arrested, booked and posed for the famous mugshot has been cut into pieces and being sold. This is similar to the coffee mugs and T-shirts promotion sold bearing his photo.
Last week, it was reported that Trump is offering 'pieces of Trump' in the way of cuttings of his blue suit, but you have to buy 47 $99 NFT's

That amounts to $4,653 and includes dinner at Mar-a-Lago with Trump himself.
It's an online purchase and the fine print states there's no guarantee you will get either.

Appropriate, isn't it?

Enoch Powell's Prophetic Speech

Who among the indigenous native-born citizens can now look back and state that Enoch Powell was a racist when he was actually warning us that when Britain one day awoke and realised we were 16 years away from being a minority Christian ?? White Nation.

Taking a good look at Uranus...

Connecting Singles members are really apathetic when it comes to science and astronomy. I've blogged about eclipses, comets and all sorts of celestial phenomena and those blogs get little to no comments when compared to political blogs... a subject that although readers complain so much about, they comment on.

For a while, I've scanned news about the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) that was launched in December 2021. JWST is 3 times the size of the Hubble telescope and equipped with sensors to detect the full light spectrum near ultraviolet to infrared.

The JWST has been sending images back to earth that are nothing less than spectacular, images not only of visible light to humans, but infrared light that passes through dust clouds that normally block visible light.

Coming up on the anniversary of the launch, and just a few days ago, I saw an article about new JWST images of the icy planet Uranus and some of it's 27 moons. These images are far greater than seen by Hubble.

NOW HIRING...

I hit a few appointments today where one was at a construction site and another the service entrance to a large condominium. It's become normal to have NOW HIRING painted on the work trucks.
Why the constant advertising for tradesmen ??
I suppose when times are good, businesses are expanding and always have the word out for more help.
I cannot say, times are good right now, so my realistic thought is the working conditions with those companies is so bad that they have a constant turnover in help, thus requiring hiring all the time!

That reminds me of a company I worked for 35 years ago where the owner didn't have to fire many people... they usually quit after a month or two.

I think at one point, he had employed every cabinet maker in the county.

Chance of a Lifetime

The Rolling Stones are going to go on yet another tour in the United States.....Not that many people (That are still alive) are even thinking of going to see them any more But Though I am not going to go? Maybe some of you might want to go for the chance of a lifetime And what might that chance of a lifetime be you might be thinking?
Having the chance to watch either Mick Jagger or Kieth Richards drop dead right there in front of you!!!
Just think now You could go back to your home town and be able to tell everyone you come across that you with your own eyes saw Mick or Kieth drop dead on the stage right there in front of you!!!!

Hendrik

HENDRIK VAN DER BIJL
By Willem Petzer.

This South African could have been the richest men in the world alongside of the Rothschilds, Carnegie  and others.

Hendrik was the greatest Engineer South Africa has ever produced.  After he invented the first intercontinental Telephone in America, had he stayed there, he could have become one of the Robber Barons, alongside Vanderbilt, Carnegie, and Rockefeller, but he decided to come back to South Africa and build our Industrial sector from nothing, after the devastation of the Boer war and great depression.

Hendrik was the son of a Farm worker (not a farmer), who saved up to buy his first oxwagon to start transporting goods between Pretoria, Kimberley, and Cape Town.  It was on the back of this oxwagon that Hendrik taught himself Mathematics, and Physics.  He then studied Engineering in Stellenbosch at the age of 16, and studied for his PhD in Germany, at Leipzig University, at the age of 21.

After completing his PhD, he went to work for Bell Labs in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a company that employed 15 Nobel prize scientists up until today.  It was here where Van der Bijl invented the first intercontinental telephone, by creating a telephone able to make a phone call from New York to Paris.

He was asked in 1920, by Gen JBM Hertzog to return to South Africa, to help with the struggling Industrial sector.  Leaving riches and a prosperous career in America behind, Van der Bijl came to South Africa with nothing.

He was the founding chairman of Eskom, leading the company to become the first to power a major city with electric streetlights.  The first in the world.  Under his leadership, Eskom, which he started from nothing, became the largest and most profitable Electricity provider in the world, powering every African country as high up as Ethiopia.  He stayed on as the Chairman of Eskom until his death in 1948.

Other companies Van der Bijl created and ran were Iscor, Amcor, the Industrial Development Corporation (later becoming the CSIR), Transnet, and Safmarine.

Had Van der Bijl built up these companies in his private name, he would have been richer than Rockefeller at that stage.  Funnily enough, Hertzog suggested Van der Bijl start these companies as private companies.

But Van der Bijl did not believe in Capitalism.  He was a nationalist.  He believed in public utilities, for the people, by the people, as he outlined in his 1919 paper "Scientific research and industrial development."

When he died in 1948, he had little more than a house and a car to his name.  Today, the legacy of Hendrik van der Bijl is plundered through corruption, state capture, mismanagement and looting. but despite stealing 100's of billions, and enormous mismanagement, poiticians, syndicates, and other criminals have still not been able to destroy the vast wealth created for this country by Hendrik van der Bijl.

Let him be our example.
Hendrik van der Bijl, and many other greats like him, are the people we should be looking up to during this time when we feel like the entire country is being destroyed by corruption and incompetence.

Let us learn from great men like Hendrik van der Bijl, and create instead of criticising. Let us plan and implement today as once was built, from nothing, by great men like Hendrik van der Bijl
