For years, I've avoided entertainment awards shows for various reasons. Sometimes it's the politics in the business, sometimes a case of who you blow or who you know and not the actual talent you have. Always, and I mean always, there are disappointments and hurt feelings, especially from the losers.

What was it... less than 2 weeks ago, there was another show and while accepting an award for Dr. Dre, Jay-Z (Beyoncé's husband) decides to use his time in the spotlight to slam the Grammy's because she didn't receive an award for album of the year.

In her career, Beyoncé has raked up 32 Grammy's and holds the record. The two of them combined have 56 wins.

I read some reader reviews and that his action didn't sit well with her fans. Simply put... Beyoncé's last album wasn't considered good enough for an award.

Let's answer the last bit of the question: Is universal healthcare socialism?

No. For decades, developed capitalist countries around the world, have had universal health care. These countries consider universal health care necessary for a healthy economy and population. Places like Australia, Japan, and Canada all have universal health care.

But what is it? Universal health coverage (UHC) means, that all people have access to the full range of quality health services they need, when and where they need them, without financial hardship. That means it won't financially ruin you if you have to go to the hospital to get surgery or if you decide to add another human to the population. It basically means that everyone is entitled to health care. From the homeless on the street to the CEO in the biggest company.

How is it funded? Via taxes. Financing comes predominantly from state-level general tax revenues and, to a lesser extent, a municipal income tax. That means that if I pay my taxes, I can get all the coverage I need, without having to pay for my visit.

$30K for a child birth. Because Denmark has universal healthcare, we pay absolutely nothing for the birth of a child.

Now, you might be asking "How much are you paying in taxes?"

I will tell you how much: 39%. I pay the bottom-bracket tax. The top-bracket tax is for people who are high-earners. The limit is 568.900 kroner per year, or $82.299. Anything above that is taxed an additional 15%.

Yes, we do have a high taxes, but they aren't too high. Most people can make ends meet without having to work two or more jobs. Our salaries are also pretty high, so that is also a contributing factor to making ends meet with just one job.

I have been working at my current job since August 2022. Well, since August 8, 2022, if you want to be precise.

That means in six months, I will celebrate my 2 year employment. Ever since I was a child, I have been told that I have to join a union, for my own sake. I have been wanting to join one, but I have always been putting it off for another day - mainly because I couldn't afford it and I didn't really need it when I wasn't working. My only permanent jobs has been three years in a supermarket, in an office in Scotland and where I work now. Three permanent jobs since 2007. Other times I worked had been through a temp agency, and even then I didn't know if I needed to join a union. So I didn't join one.

Now, with me working full time, and making enough, I can now afford to join a union. I joined the cheapest one I could find. It will set me back a whopping $83 a month. The first six months are free, however.

Now, I know that there has been a LOT of talk in the US about how unions are bad, but I see them as a good thing. They can help me if I somehow feel like my employer is treating me bad. If I get laid off unexpectedly, I can get unemployment funds for 2 years. More than enough time to allow me to find another job, if required. 2.254 million people in Denmark are members of a union. It's encouraged to be a member from the time you start your higher education. I just never joined one until last week - when I am almost 40..

But at least they'll help me if I, for some reason, get treated unfairly at work or if I get laid off out of nowhere

Is an EU sanction being discussed today because the EU has always been the aggressor punching the Bear when it can? Is it because the Putin interview doesn't fit the bullshit EU narrative which explains why nazis in Ukraine should be funded with my money?

And why is there an EU? What is NATO good for besides taking my money with no plans to repay me. What does it mean “ in the name of democracy.” How do I benefit sending my money to nato.

Back to EU sanctions:

I think USA will survive the unceasing destructive horror of, among many things, moral fiber, families and higher education decay. Speaking about education, we need to bring back passing standards. I want the best educated and most skilled people available to do everything and get due credit for it.

We need qualified people designing buildings, protecting our border, flying aircraft, in law enforcement, as lawyers, as judges, performing medical procedures (including abortions!) farming our food, inspecting our meat etc etc. We need to stop climate change nonsense and the insane inflamed racism and division perpetrate on us. Let’s make America and Britain great again!

If a woman is always treated nice by men and the men agreeing with her and not leading and or calling her out on her manipulative ways,more likely the women will have an affair or walk all over him because he is not being a real man. This is key, Rudy Giuliani was the person telling Trump to 'just say he won' on Tuesday night. The professionals know that votes are being counted in the days following Election Day. Why you ask? Mail-in ballots, oversea ballots, early voting ballots, etc. Some States count the early votes and tally them into The Day vote, some States wait until after The Day. America has pristine elections. Some recounts found extra votes for Joe Biden. There were no 5,000 dead people voting anywhere. I'm an honest architect. I only work with honest clients and honest contractors. To lie when designing and building a project would be a travesty, wrong on every level. Trump lied and he continues to lie. Rudy helped, quite a lot.

Also relevant is the actions of Trump's Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, who took automatic sorting machines out of post offices to slow down the movement of mail-in ballots -- the very votes which Trump feared would go against him.

Actually, no. Serious crimes were committed by Trump/GOP/Rudy for which these folks need to be held responsible. It's called justice. There's nothing political about being held responsible for breaking laws.

Financial fraud is a felony. How difficult is that for you to understand? Trump was under investigation and being subpoenaed long before he decided to run again... so who exactly is weaponizing the justice system?

Why stop there? Why don’t you accuse the govt of deliberately not helping trump to be the next president? You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Rudy should have known from prior experiences people have had with Trump, get it in writing. On top of that, you have this "weaponization of justice" comment again. It's not persecution, it's prosecution. A jury of his peers found him guilty in the civil case against him. He lost, and was ordered to pay $148 million, not by the justice system, but by his peers. And please, the FBI has been led by a Republican throughout its existence.

Ted Goodman, an advisor for Giulani, wrote in a statement that the former New York mayor has "earned everything he has in life through honest hard work". This speaks volumes, because he's both financially and morally bankrupt.
