Their only wish~~~~~~~

Lets build a fire in the fireplace and have hot chocolate and watch a movie and then call it family night....

hang the stocking to have Santa fill them with lots of goodness and much little toys......

wrapping the gifts okay make the wish list.....

1) BRAND NEW CAR
2) TV FLAT SCREEN
3) PLAYSTATION-3
4) X-BOX
5) SEWING MACHINE
6) PICK UP TRUCK
7) SNOW MOBILE
8) LAP TOP
9) CAMERA
10) NEW WARDROBE

Well yes it is all right to have a wish list and this was an only child from a family of wealth and money...
( next wish list)

1)new shirt without holes in it
2)pair of jeans that fit
3)pair of socks
4)new tennis shoes
5)toothbrush
6)a car that runs for my mother
7)hairbrush of my own
8)colored pencils
9)my own bed
10) my daddy to come back to my mommy

How sad but true what our economy does to a wish list the real thing as we enter into Christmas it is not the gift it is the celebration of CHRIST.... well you often do see these things on a childs wish list and the comparision of a rich and spoiled child to a poor and thoughtful child this is how their list compares.....
Merry Christmas....

Santa's Insomniac Toast

A toast to all the insomniacs
who visit this sight.
Here’s to all your clarity
that surfaces during the night.

We know how to get things done
while all of you sleep.
If you don’t believe me
ask Santa if you’re not too
busy counting sheep.

Christmas at Washington Square

The last time I saw Santa
he was hanging out by our tree,
rattling all the Christmas bulbs
while we wiped our eyes to see.

Sure enough he’s a cross-dresser
by don’t let that scare you away.
Nothing wrong with wearing red
and driving off in a sleigh.

Wish I could be with Santa
and give him a helping hand.
I admire his big heart and
his reindeer are nothing
short of grand.

Would take a ride through Central Park;
pay our respects to Washington Square.
Bet you didn’t know that to this day
the remains of at least 20,000 are buried there.

Washington said it best after crossing the Delaware;
He provided the inscription on the arch that says:

Let us raise a standard to which
the wise and the honest can repair.
The event is in the hand of God.

Warm Christmas Greetings Everyone

I've checked off, purt near, all the days of the year
From the calendar there on the wall;
Outside here, it's snowing and winter is showing,
That it's close on the heels of the Fall.

The leaves have come down, save the oaks which are brown
All the asters are withered and bare;
This morning at dawn, there was ice on the pond,
And the temperature's dropping out there.

Inside here, it's warm and we don't fear the storm
We've a chuck box so full it won't shut;
There's a big stack of wood and the fire feels good,
To the Mr. and me, and his mutt.

The stock's all been fed and the children put to bed
So we'll sit here awhile I suppose;
We'll review the past year, while we laugh at our fear,
And rejoice in the life that we chose.

It's said Christ was born on a cold winter morn
In a stable with cattle and sheep;
So we're thankful today for things He would say,
And the promise we know He will keep.

When the winter wind whines through the pinon pines
And stirs up the snows of December;
We'll thank God for His Son, all the good things He's done,
And the family and friends we remember.

Were is Cafe?

Were is the Golden Knight?
Did he take flight?
The pen is his steady stead
His poetry is what we miss and need to read!
Is he scrubbing the castle floors?
and polishing all its doors?
He needs to take a break
and pen some poetry for Heavens sake!

Christmas Bells

The sound of ringing Christmas bells
Is a sound I love so well
Remembering moments when I have heard them in the of past
Those are cherished memory's that will always last
As the old saying goes when a Christmas bell rings
a angel will get his wings
So let the bells sound
and let there be joy all around!

Parisian Christmas

Parisian Christmas

The Christmas lights blaze up on the Champs Elysees

All the nightly glitter and twinkles following beautiful days

Amid the calamity of so many shopping in wild throngs

Through the cool air play all your favorite Christmas songs

Happy people sitting in cafes along the winding street

All scurrying about for those gifts on fast moving feet

Getting dizzy from the spinning lights of the Ferris Wheel

Toasting to each other and getting into that holiday feel

Oh what joys of all those wondrous Parisian sights

A sip of wine here and there enchanting the nights

Your head all a whirl living life the in the Parisian ways

When the Christmas lights blaze up on Champs Elysees

As the New Year Roles In

As the new year roles in.
May you find yourself in a brandnew light and not have your patience
wearing too thin.
The last year was a real duezey for some of us and me.
Hope we can learn from the past and work on the now as we are
supposed to be.
For only if the things we been working on can truly come true.
Then todays tomorrow can see us through.
With good intentions and alot of great choices that we have made
for ourselves.
Shall we be better people this new year with very good friends and
help.
Yesterday is gone to the things that are now in the past.
Let yesterday be a reminder that we can still laugh.
There are some who think that this new year will be our end.
Just know I think there are very wrong because 2012 is going to be
a year we can tell them about, even if some are lost again.
WOO HOO YEAH HAWWW!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year

Open Water

In open water
No sign of land
Not sinking
Funny
Because I
Don't know how to swim

Water-logged
Egg nogged
More whiskey
Please?
Cheers!

Merry Christmas
From the front line
Almost to the finish
Line
Almost outswam
The sharks

Happy New Year
New attempt
At old resolutions
Viva La Revolucion!

Diamond in the rough
Life is rough
Willow sways
Rarely snapping but
Snapped I have

I am in open water
But the water is
Clear
And the land will
Extend a hand

And I will run along
The beach
