Things That Happened In 2014

I passed out unconscious at the library and hit my head
Cause I worked 300 days at a factory I dread
Saw the Twins play baseball
Spent a lot of time window shopping at the Kennedy Mall
Bought a 2000 Cavalier paid in cash
Had a friend mad at me for selling the other I thought was trash
Juggled on the Badger Camp Telethon
Couldn't do Jump Around and Gangster's Paradise I had my heart set on
So I did Arthur's Theme and Rubberband Man
Felt like I was juggling for the man
Celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas at my Mom's
Felt fearful while I waited for the verbal bombs
Yellow Flicker Beat by Lorde was my favorite song
Got tired of all the Ferguson crap
Can't we all just get along?
Made some food, ate a lot of fast food from the Walmart Mall
My last creation was a cheese ball

Valentine's Day

The word Valentine comes from a priest
The priest named Valentine
He married couples against the law of the state
Went to prison and died for his good deeds
The ruler at the time needed lots of soldiers
Married men didn't have to go to war
While in prison Valentine healed the jailer's daughter
His prayers brought back her sight
Before he was to be executed he left her the first Valentine signed
"Your Valentine"

Another Nuclear Holocaust Holiday

If only these holidays could be wiped off the face of the earth:

Christmas
Valentine's Day
Easter
Thanksgiving
You name it

What a wonderful world this would be!

Then, instead of feeling like I'm being
wiped off the earth
I could be
HAP-PY!

Pot of Gold

Searching for a four leaf clover

in the green grasses that grow in the rocks

The little people point the way

Just looking for that pot of gold

Me thinks its in the hills or mountains

Not sure weather its north or south

or near the ocean or sea

It might not be gold in a monetary sense

or something I can see or touch

but I know its there just waiting..waiting

The little people told me so

This is the way I will go, searching for the pot of gold

Happy St Patrick's Day Everyone

A Summers Day

Finally that Summer sun beaming its bright light,
Music blaring in my living room am rocking,
Good job have high fences to see me dancing is a sight,
If I shout loud enough Free Booze the neighbours would come a flocking,

To feel that warmth and pleasant breeze,
Spirits high with a good feeling emotion,
No hay fever for me I do not sneeze,
When one feels this way then living life is devotion,

Songs playing enliven my rythm,
Play that Sax man rock these bones,
If a partner was here they would be dancing thats a given,
Guitar solos screeching out those dancing tones,

I have a smile across my face,
And my heart is full of joy and I am free,
I wish I could pass this on to all the human race,
So I send this message to all be happy come and join me

About this poem:
Because the warm weather has arrived those winter shadows no longer drawing out our life with its cold and dreary days. I just feel happy and am listening to music, the sun is out...so just share the moment and enjoy.

Ethereal Trip

I love the day
And especially the night
The soothing ray
Of that ethereal light

The freshness of air
Breathing so deep
I do say, I dare
Take the great leap

And float in the abyss
Drifting by, ever silent
Deep inside, perfect bliss
A feeling so oddly compliant

Down the river, I flow
To where? i dont care
Destination? I don't know
Not your average fare

All i know is im going
And thats ok with me
As the river keeps flowing
I just don't care, you see

Tissue Paper Hot Air Balloon

I have celebrated the 4th of July with different fireworks
I have even celebrated using Diet Coke and Mentos
I have lighted firecrackers
Fountains and fireworks that fly
I have used sparklers, snaps, and snakes
But the tissue paper hot air balloon is my favorite
It cost me only five dollars and lasted at least five minutes
It needs have calm winds or the paper will catch on fire
You need to have two people to light the balloon
One using a long plastic lighter to prevent burning fingers
One to hold the balloon till it has enough hot air to fly
And then slowly but steadily it climbs up, up, and up into the sky
Pretty inspirational

Trick or Treat

Bullied at school
When am I gonna rule?
My salvation lies in rock and roll
My friend gives me a record to fill my soul
I play it backwards and get instructions
To get even with this corruption
It works great
But the demon released by this record doesn't want to wait
He loves this hate
There is no debate
He wants me to help him kill
His music my thrill
I say no
You gotta go
But he gets out with a little help
From my friend who is a welp
At the high school dance
He puts them in a trance
Then shoots lightning out of his guitar
Killing numerous teens and one teacher near and far
Then he is played on the radio
I know what I have to do
Put a radio in the back of a police car
Taunt him to come get me and drive far
I will take him out
Before he hits the river he will shout
Then I will send him away forever
From a record I shouldn't have ever played
So be careful with your records
And don't ever play them backwards

JACK O LANTERN

HE ONLY SHINES FOR ONE NIGHT OF THE YEAR; BUT ONCE YOU SEE HIS LIT UP ANGRY FACE; YOU ARE SURE TO GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY FOR GRACE! HIS FRIENDS CONSIST OF; GOBLINS AND WITCHES WHO DWELL ON SCARING PEOPLE, WHILE DIGGING THEIR DITCHES! YES, THIS NIGHT IS SO WELCOME TO JACK AND HIS MANY EVIL FRIENDS; BUT WAIT TIL THE NEXT DAY, WHEN THE ANGELS APPEAR, AND RETIRE JACK AND HIS FRIENDS, TO AN ANGELIC END; UNTIL NEXT YEAR!
