This Paper Stage
I stand up on this paper stage
With only words to express
The deepest vowels, the highest consonants
Of what our hearts request
Dream on, sing on with me
In octaves of your own originality
Watch your words form linear lines
That move and bend in space and time
Imagination, Yes, Imagination
Give us old images of new shape and form
Imagination, Yes, Imagination
With each of our renewed perceptions, truly we are reborn
For all the poets and painters, writers and singers of song
Upon the written page
Let us write and recite our own thoughts and dreams

About this poem:
A poem dedicated to writers in voices of different forms/genres. Of the styles to chose from- chant seems the most close to my poem’s style but that doesn’t quiet nail it for me. Any thoughts on this?Water Without Judgement

Faces reflected in the Tides of Time
Nature struggles between growth and necessity
Knowledge bridges today and choice

About this poem:
The title ‘Water Without Judgement’ popped into my head and it stuck. Huh? What could that mean? Wrote this about 30 years ago and I still wonder. Think I was reading Will Durant’s ‘Story of Philosophy’ at the time. So this book and other works of different philosophers brought my writing of poetry often to take on a philosophical bent.
LOVE AND LIKE
Like and love, are poles apart
Both have rights, within a heart
Yet unconditional, comes to mind
Thinking of love, all-giving kind
Can one truly love, but never like
After pain-sorrow, emotions fight
Superior belief, I can't see how
Sharing life space, without a vow
For those that love, also defend
No doubt to others, more than friends
Decisions made, with knock-on-affect
Special romance, personally select
Is the more powerful, love or to like
Mirrored emotions, compare a kite
Soaring love, unconditional-unique
The truest of emotion, all seek
Only feeling, that wraps to hold
Shared by two, remaining bold
Special bond, triggered by touch
Shared senses, to another clutch
Both have rights, within a heart

Beacon of Stars
Beacon of Stars
There is always Light in Life
Let not the darkness envelop you
If darkness should fall
Look to the night sky
See the bright Light of the Cosmos
Reach out your hands grasping the Stars
While in your Grasp wish upon it
Pull it into your Heart
Let its Light and Warmth show you the way
Choose the brightness of Wisdom
Hold close to you all that which you hold Dear
Warm yourself upon the Shining Beacon of Hope
There is always Light in Life

You are my dreams, do you know who you are
Are you the moon, or maybe a bright star
Magic of the night, or warmth of every day
Your words like poetry, send sunny rays
If I am feeling lost, you're my special one
Makes a new day, when the old one is done
Echo of my senses, where past breezes run
Allows me to sit quietly, watch a dying sun
Are you my shadow, where I go, you are there
No need to turn around, I know that you care
Watching over me, especially when I'm sad
Never to be scared of, all good and never bad
Like my inner twin, be a mirror of mine
Inner being waits, for your special sign
Will you remain, or in time fade away
Questions I ask, what will you say?

A is for awesome, absolutely & amazingCome this far don't give up now or make the stress or mess be phasing
B is for beautyfilled, brave n yes bold
Brutal the way you display that Love you can't hold
C is for calm, care creative n calculating
This existence called creation collectively collaborating
D is for dance, dream, divine n destiny
And a desire to delve deeper into those bettermost parts of me
E is for everything, empathy n elegance
Even at the so called end the epilogue still eloquent
F is for funtastik, free, Force n friend
Happy are they whom find even 1ne on which they can depend
G is for grace, gratitude n goodness
Giving glory momentarily n multiplying this bless
H is for happy, heart, heaven, humble n honour
The hardest nuts get the heaviest test n reap the highest of honours
I is for infinite, I am, integrity & insight
Into the inner irie I n I
J is for journey, joy & the jewel that is you
Indefinable by names like Muslim, Christian or Jew
K is for kundalini, kind, kool & kin
Kindly telepathically kissing
L is for laughter, Love, like & learn
Letting go n laying low to be elevated in return
M is for mother, maker n music
Mystically unravelling this mystery as we move it
N is for nature, nice, nurture noble n nourish
With no nonsense but with the right tools n common sense any newborn would flourish
O is for observant, omnipotent, opportunity n overflowing
Optimistically optimistik n naturally glowing
P is for peace, positive, passion, patience n perception
Please practice persistence in understanding those reflections
Q is for quality, quest, quirk n quintessential
Can't be quiet all the time communication is essential
R is for real, royal, righteous n rare
That relative reason you radiate so brightly everywhere
S is for soul, star & Spirit
A simple smile, sparkle bright, even in da shit
T is for truth, timeless, teacher & thanks
Meditation is therapeutic so take time to join its ranks
U is for ultimate, universe & unity
Unique we are, to be honoured indefinitely
V is for valour vigilant n vital
On your voyage use your voice whether town or tribal
W is for wonderful, warm, welcome & weed

Welcome the world n nurture the seed

THE PLACE
There's a place I go to hide,
A place deep in the, Canyons of my mind,
In this place there lives a child,
The child that I was,
Once upon a time,
It's a place I go to learn,
When so much of life, Seems nothing but a blur,
And I run there when this world,
Begins to frighten me,
Knowing I will find,
This wise old child,
Will always enlighten me,
God watches over me,
This much I can see,
God watches over me,
And one day I will be....,
When the world's just not spinning right,
When the hounds Of Hell
come charging out of the night,
I know just the song,
This Ancient Of Forevers child,
Will write,
Wherein this troubled world,
Will always be alright,
And here I go again, Running to The Place,
Chased by a dark evil wind,
But the answer's right here all along,
My Dear Friends,
It's a new creation of singing,
My deep inner child writing,
A brand new song

Tapping into our inner mind to find ways to resolve troubling issues. ALL OF US HAVE POWER TO OVERCOME ANY PROBLEM. And, there's a way out of anything. There is no PLACE you can be where Angels cannot find you.MORNING HOPE.
Stillness of the morning, silence controls
Dawn has broken, giving earth its soul
Colour explodes, as sun rays dance
Dew on grass and flowers, enhance
Overall appearance, as a waking day
Fresh-shiny, waits creature who play
A dawn chorus, as birds joining in
Lift the anticipation, together they sing
Soon with action, a world slowly wakes
Across mountains-land-oceans-lakes
Stirring imagination, as well as sound
Positive emotions, thoughts abound
The word life, which is ours to take
Enjoy every moment, never as fake

nothing better than a new day......to be positiveATTITUDE.
Life has a way of sending curved balls
We carefully balance, trying not to fall
When catching our breath, we ponder
Our mind not our feet, can wander
The picture's gets distorted, but we try
Smoothing out wrinkles, but never cry
Usually we find a special way to cope
As every situation, comes with hope
Positive approach, is best we know
Negatives, to a breeze we throw
Until the moment, finally understand
Accept, move forward joining hands
Every situation, can make us smile
Move forward relax, you're not on trial.
Attitude, is the make or break goal
Each step taken, cleanses your soul
We carefully balance, trying not to fall

Just up ahead,
Around the next bend,
Mud River Revival's 'bout to start,
And you're invited to attend,
You might disagree,
With some of what you hear,
But don't you dare judge harshly now,
Cause what they're spreading ain't fear,
Along the Mud River,
Or as the legend goes,
Voices of the long departed preachers,
Whisperings of hope any way the wind blows,
Not in it for money,
Recognition or fame,
Just want to share the Good News,
In our Sweet Saviour's Mighty Name,
So, come on down to Mud River,
Get the Gospel painted across your face,
And have your own Mud River Revival,
Any time and any place.
