A Different World ..........

Theres no shame in being yourself
Be it colour shape humour or size
It’s how people perceive what is worthy
In the deceit of their eyes
For everyone is born equal
Be it race colour or creed
No matter what pervades
Their thoughts should be freed
Every person born should speak
And say what clears their mind
So they may flourish uniquely
And live a life kind
Where acceptance of things different
Is but second thought
And friendships nurtured honestly
Should never be bought
Where love blossoms like a rose
With its thorns close by
But once respected and understood
Can carefully be admired .......

shades down low

Now the shades down low
evening in the street
puttin' down the rhythm
toying with the beat
taking my time
writing up the lines
feeling my way
with the old time rhymes
grinding to the flow
work it nice and slow
careful how I'm swimmin'
watch the undertow
riding like the dog
know its understood
haters on the corners
get you if they could
Now the shades down low
evening in the street
putting down the rhythm
toying with the beat
..

Wood Chopped Water Carried

Wood Chopped Water Carried
Robert N. L. Browning

Vital signs fading fast
Desperately hanging on
Slipping away, powerful voice
Let go, release and trust
Free fall infinite space
Brilliant womb of light
Total love and acceptance
All that is, was and will be
Beyond form, no separation
Highest self, one spirit connection
Survived, changed Surgeons life
No complications, cracking jokes
Faith, love, peace and joy grow
Great gift, dying before I die
Awe of life’s magnificence
Beyond ability to express
Grateful Transformation
Lamp lighter and oasis
Path breathlessly looking
Light within, truth revealed.
Before and after Enlightenment
Wood chopped, water carried.

PEACE TO INNER SOUL.

Standing on the waters edge, thoughts jumbled mind
Seek answers to questions, in the jumble try to find
Do you need too, or is the reason so obviously clear
Maybe you can't accept, from those you hold dear

Red flags, we all sense them but try to ignore
Until the dawning moment, we can do no more
To bury and consider, a reason that is safe
Instead of acting quickly, close an open gate

Did you wait for peace of mind, to overcome
When a relationship is toxic, commonsense wrong
Still hope burns strong, yet doubts take control
Time to accept, bring peace to your inner soul

LIFE'S TESTS.

Life sends us tests that attitude can over come
Yes health can be a factor, far worse for some
Then there is romance, to add to the pot
Love is important, but first join all the dots

Someone you can rely upon, at anytime
Sadly we never know, when life is fine
Time is the answer, there is no race
Spending time together, a foundation base

Devotion comes in many, shapes and forms
For some it is a birth right, gifted when born
Others find their true love, a soul mate too
It's what many search for, and can come true

Yet whatever the journey, to do your very best
Some are not keepers, compare as a guest
Also with health problems, they come and go
Supported with friends, is better than a foe

Select those around you, with the best of care
When you need a friend, real ones will share
Highs and lows, will be eased you'll see
Finding special people, caring is the key

To learn from life's hic-cups, a bonus of sorts
Means silver linings are a gift, isn't bought
I was lucky, finding special people that cared
Time they gave freely, and happily shared.

Kle76am a very special human

Is that a relationship gone sour ?
Just going thru the motion of a good wife,
A hard working woman and a loving mom,
This is who you are at the moment.

Many hidden talents ,
Pretty secrets buried ,
You are more than a woman ,
You are a Super human !

A mind to speak of substance ,
You can't take any nonsense,
Straight as an arrow and true,
You chase away all the blues .

Feisty and honest your motto,
Your mom brought you up right,
A lady, friend and comforter,
Thank you for being Special .

WINTER FADE AWAY.....

Days seem to alternate, between bright and grey
Gradually increasing, towards spring and summer days
Nature sets the stage, as skies turn lighter blue
Wind becomes a breeze, sending warm day clues

Trees that stood twiggy and bare, ready to wake
As early budding flowers, eager to colour make
Skies explode with light, earlier every breaking day
Welcome approaching summer, as winter fades away

In the northern hemisphere, winter will soon be theirs
Thoughts travel to inside fires, that families will share
Creeping up so quickly, is Christmas a special time
Thoughts will turn to sharing, we wait those familiar signs.....

A special Candykid tribute

53 times his poetry magic works,
In the hands of time two stars fallen,
He is living in eternal darkness,
Suspended around the dark matter.

He's incomplete and can't compete,
A ghostwriter trapped inside his prison,
His words filled with angst and passion,
Blind sided in order to dim lights.

Chasing immortality throughout his life,
Suffering beyond the garden of insanity,
His essence caught by a supernatural being,
From a ghostly aura of an invisible thing.

It transform into a sparkling black marble,
And again into his supreme Queen,
His adoration is simply indescribable,
Witnessed by the hundreds and millions .

And in the halls of the black nights,
His spirit weaken and soul stricken,
Possession from the scent of Fear,
Presence denied in the space of time.

But nothing compares from the history of earth,
Can stop the power of his neverending love,
Alas nothing is quite as it seems,
From the shadows dancing from within.

In the midst of the gigantic Candy Horse constellation,
God is not invisible because I see him clearly in candy's Christian face!

Indian rail

I remember standing in an Indian railway station
back country, 1990, early for the train
and all the action was on the Gulf War
people were a little nervous
unknown how Moslems were going to respond
But it was so peaceful
just rusting iron under an Indian sun
and the chirping and flittering of sparrows
that seem to accompany all building
of railway stations around the planet
Odd that on the boundaries of a war things seemed
so much lighter than the wall-to-wall
havoc and information barrage from a virus,
perhaps I'll turn the TV off and
just head out into the country,
find me a railway station with no trains

Drinking with the Lord

Sunday I drink alone
Just me, the humming fridge and the Lord
I like the company of a man who's been around
