ONE

I wonder what the world would be
If you were never there.
I wonder what the world would be
If everybody cared

Your love has no boundaries, nor governed by rules.
It flows about freely despite all those fools
Listen you mortals who think you’re so cool.
Ever living your life to fool other fools

Trying to prove you are better by far
Than those, who you cast to the side
As you drive about in your new car,
Hoping they’ll find a new place to hide

You keep trying to fool all those that you meet.
Looking to find what it is that you need
Searching, not knowing it’s right at your feet
Waiting to end your longing and greed

Yet those who endure cruel lessons of life
Knowing, they are no better than you,
They’ve already found the meaning to life
They bend and give love so freely to you
Ere all of their days are full of life's strife

Each day you share your kindness and grace
Giving your love, with no conditions at all.
Making the world a much brighter place
Providing a safe place breaking our fall.

Though we are just specks laced upon time
Your light breaks the darkness that’s all around.
Providing the courage to continue the climb
Enriching our life because you’re around

I wonder what the world would be
If you were never there.
I wonder what the world would be
If everyone cared.

About this poem:
I dated a Pastor for a while and while it never worked out she and her friends were amazing people. I reflected on their contribution within their little sphere and came up with this.

We are Children Born Today

We are children born today
Growing wiser every day
We are parents of the morrow
Living life without the sorrow

Growing, living, learning, laughing
Every day a new beginning
Where we find our many lovers
Till we meet our one true lover

Now we’re parents of the future
With the children we must nurture
To become their dreams desire
Changing, rising from the fire

Now we’re older and much wiser
Knowing she will soon desire
The path of peril and adventure
Falling, climbing to her future

Waiting for our mortal ending
We will see a new beginning
Growing weaker day by day
A boy will mark a brand new way

Now here comes our darkest day
Marking clear our final day
Have we found the hidden key
To learn at last life’s mystery.

About this poem:
I am writing a book and it seemed the right time in a characters position in the story that she sing a song. She is alone on a trip to guide a boy who is a reluctant king that she brought to his kingdom. This is the song of a prophesy.

Once upon a river .......

Every morning is the same
I cross this bridge once again
And every day a different dawn
Different colours always warm
I look to the west and all I see
Sleepy mountains and fog to be
Rising above valleys green
A panorama so serene
I look to the east and all I see
The rising sun with a beauty free
Shimmering across a river fine
I feel i have entered the sublime
Every morning it is the same
I cross this bridge once again ........

Simply Wonderful..........

Stumbled onto this story
Of a lady named Maud
I was so taken by her
It was my reward
From the gentleness
Of her soul
Or the struggles
She may had
There was never indication
Her life was bad
She painted with colour
She painted with a smile
Her paintings simple
About a life worthwhile
Defining a beauty
That did surround
Her art remains
For all to astound .........

A Lil Peace of mind

I got no problems i can't fix,
gonna build me a house made from bricks.
Inside of me lies the foundations for a castle.
Is it worth it?,or is it just hassle?.
Do i help myself? will God help too?
Do i tell who'd listen that i got the flue?
"i want to stay nice!", i said to me,
then a habit occurs for all to see.
"Is positivity an act?" they both said.
"of course it is..".."the negativity will shed"
We all get manipulated, bullied and swayed,
listen to yourself..be brave..not afraid..
it's a brand new experience now receiving all this power,
now that you have it,in your heart....Build a tower!
Surround yourself with happiness and love,
but know your place from below to above.
If others around you don't want to feel this way,
Run away...keep the hounds at bay!!!

Cold to the Bone

Solutions
Cold to the Bone

Sometimes life throws us snowballs and our hands
And
Toes
Freeze
Sometimes we
Must find heat
To
Melt!
Necessity
Is the mother of invention
Truely
My heat failed
About
4-6 weeks ago
62-68 degrees
Human body 98
30 degrees cooler
Brrr ...
-20 outside
It's been quite difficult
To bare
The burden
Daily
Colder
Almost unbearable
Finally my house
Came to the top
Of the list for repairs
They ripped out
My old furnace system
Yesterday!
Only space heaters
Ugh!
Yesterday was tough
At night I woke up frozen
Wanted hot soup
But too cold out there
Got back under the
Covers
with a 3rd blanket
Body stinging w pain
My fingernails
&
Toenails
N
Pain
Like military
Germany
field cold days
Ugh!
I put a thermophore
Moist heating pad
Across my chest
Cranked it up
As high as I could
Stand
It!
Tucked
My hands
Between my
Sweatshirt
And
The
Heating
Pad
Creating
A
Kangaroo
Pouch
Hot
This way
My palms feel heat
&
The top of my hands
Hot
Toasty
Warmth
Aaahhh!
Now
How do I spell relief?
K a n g a r o o
Pouch!
THERMOPHORE
Moist
Heating
Pad
Has
A
Chammy
Sleeve
27x12

Drama farmer

See the karma coming for the drama farmer
Think you're untouchable n top G like Obama
No 1ne no thing can harm ya
It's that
Song what you sang
Your vibe coming back like boomerang
Now shizz hitting the fan
And to pot goes all your plan
Dam
I wish I could breathe some words of sympathy
But just like before you'd probably never listen to me
You were warned
But still you scorned
On not me her or him
But only on the self you keep on hating
Agitating n frustrating
Ya see da ting
Is
Leave people business
And mind your own
We're all grown
We feel say we should own a throne
But ya forgot to give that dog a bone
Leave the innocent alone
And charity always begins at home
With you
You
Must remain true to you
Or
See the karma coming for the drama farmer
Think you're untouchable n top G like Obama
No 1ne no thing can harm ya
Pick back up that humility
Respect for self integrity n dignity
I pity
The fool
Fooled by these earthly rules
Let Spirit take you to the schools
Where ya learn to swim this journey like in swimming pools
Oh yea
Bend n break the rules
Hating on yourself or any1ne else just ain't kool
Use your breath & your heart as a tool
To pull
You out of that hole
That's only rottening your soul
But then again
The problem always perception
Some jus Love fe dwell in stress n depression
I say this because I see no means to change
To me it seems fekkin odd n strange
We know better
Don't do better
Come let's make this water wetter
Bak pack pun track n jet setter
Live this life
Breathe this vibe
Tribe ah no tribe
Injoying the ride
That foolish pride
That ego that lied
Behind mask n veil where ya hide
haaahaaaahaaaaaa
Who can dare to be free?
Who can actually be the best that they can be?
Let me take a seat
Have a cup of tea
And wait n see

"Moments in Life"

My list of 9 most important lessons learned, some by advice, some the hard way, some by inspiration.

1. There are moments in life when you miss someone so
much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and
hug them and never let them go. So cherish them while they
are with you.

2. When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but
often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't
see the one, which has been opened for us. Man cannot close a door God wants opened. Man cannot open a door God wants closed.

3. Don't go for looks; they can deceive and rarely have substance.
Don't go for wealth; even that either fades or taken away.
Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a
smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile. They are usually diamonds
still in the rough. Hard and rare to find but worth the search.

4. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go;
be what you want to be, because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do. Remember, we are
not guaranteed a tomorrow, so make the best of the day given.

5. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough
trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and
enough hope to make you happy. Are you honest enough to admit
you have none of the above?

6. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way. God does not give me more than I can handle.

7. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past;
you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures
and heartaches. However, failures can be the greatest lessons
that lead to personal growth.

8. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around
you was smiling. So live your life so at the end, you're the one
who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

9. Don't count the years, count the memories.......Life is not
measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the
moments that take our breath away!

THE CHRIST IN 'CHRIST'MAS

God’s Word Came Down
In Human Flesh form
As Virgin Mary’s Son
Named Baby Boy Jesus
He Grew and studied
The Word at temple
Water Baptism by John
God gave his Blessing
With the Holy Spirit
Desert 40 days/nights
Resisted the Devil’s temptation
He picked 12 Disciples
Eleven Saints – One Devil
Healed Spiritually and Physically
Gave God the Glory
Was betrayed by Judas
Suffered abused and tortured
Then made to walk
Carry cross to Calvary
Where he was nailed
Suffered for three hours
Said “It is Done”
Placed in a tomb
For 3 long days
Rose on third day
He ascended into Heaven
Loves and forgives us
If we accept Him
Our reward will be
Life with Him forever
