soul of soul

These thoughts
Filled to brim
Joy of joy

Yet
Deep the bend
Gentle winds shivering
Slow the sway, the ripple’s end
As if utterance is set to pause

These thoughts
Filled by embers warmth
Joy of joy

Yet
Deep the rivers bottom
Gentle, the rain cleansing
As words set to whisper nothings’s sweet
As if yesterday had no purpose other than to birth now

These thoughts
Filled by laying truth upon my rising
Joy of joys

Soul of soul

soulful

it is kindness
the still of my rush

it is the non of judge
the easing to believe

it is voice and laughter's warmth
the breath seeking peace

it is the non of push and pull
the please of as you are, the mind set free

it is " i am enough"
as this presents its woe or glee

it is the just of self
the instability released

it is kindness
creating tranquility’s lease

it is the live of you, and the love of me
now breathing through ability
it is kindness

CHOOSE LOVE AND LIGHT

Each earth's journey will always end
We'll miss a loved one or a friend
Why be sad when souls are free?
They're closer to God than you and me.

Hearts are not made of stone and steel
Joy and pain we'll always feel
Happiness and sorrow are so real
Life and pain are a package deal
Choose love and light, a way to heal!

Before the sun forgets its way

Before you get your winter stuff out
And become
A layered cabbage of clothes
To keep you warm

Before the wind blows colors away
And the rain drizzles endlessly
From the heavy hats of grey clouds

Before the dark forces get to rule
And the sun
Forgets its way to our land
There is a spark of brightness

The red and orange umbrellas
Pop up on the trees
The cool air
Mixed with the smells of decay
The mist over the pond...

The last dance
And the crunch of leaves
Moaning under your feet
When you walk away alone

il mio respiro per correre (my breath to run)

There are hopes that, like the myths, linger in the stories of those who contemplate them, and truths that take their breath away from hope. Yesterday I hoped it would stop raining, but without the rain I would not see the rainbow. So I found my breath to run.

welcome Seeking Ginger

Welcome to the halls of the sanctuary
I'm Ancient Bullman around here
Where magic awaits your every touch
Every word and every thought.

Come and dwell with us
Bring your burden in bulks
Shed those tears and smile
You are with family and guild

The Really Really Short Version of the Bible

God created the world in six 24 hour days
Then on the Sunday he rested
Then God caught Adam and Eve eating apples
And he threw them out of the garden of Eden
Then Cain killed Abel because God likes lamb chops more than broccoli
Then Noah road on an ark with two of each animal
Everyone else drowned because they were wicked
Then Moses freed the slaves, parted the Red Sea
And got the 10 Commandments
Later on in a town called Sodam and Gomorrah
They anally raped strangers to death and wanted to rape angels too
So God destroyed them and turned Lot's wife into a pillar of salt
David then killed Goliath with a slingshot
Jonah gets swallowed by a whale and lives inside it for a few days
The devil bets God Job will stop praising him
If God kills off his servants, family, and livestock
God proves Satan wrong and gives Job back his abundance
Jesus is born in a stable
Because in olden times you couldn't make reservations
Mary and Joesph take Jesus to Egypt
Because King Herod would have Jesus killed if they stayed
Thirty years later we find Jesus performing miracles
Turning water into wine
Healing the sick, blind, lepers, bring dead people to life
Walking on water
Turning a few fishes and loaves into many more fishes and loaves
Driving out demons, washing feet, and telling inspirations stories
Then Jesus gets betrayed by one of his disciples named Judas
Jesus gets crucified, Judas gets some gold coins and kills himself
Jesus then comes back from the dead three days later
Then he hangs out with his other disciples and then goes up to heaven
Then a long time after that the world will end
There will be four horsemen, a lot of angels blowing on trumpets
The dead will be judged
Satan will be chained up for a thousand years
And Jesus will come back to rule the Earth
The End

About this poem:
I tried to write this as a cliff notes version for someone who had never heard of the bible. I left out one of my favorite stories. The one where the little girl asks for the head of John the Baptist on a platter. Mark 6:14-30

Kindred spirits

Embedded image from another site

Kindred spirits … It is a lot of them on light?
How to pull out happy that ticket,
That to meet a kindred spirit in life,
Wandering still in a haze?

Around there is a lot of, in general, good,
Neither angry, nor silly, but foreign people …
It is possible to talk not bad to them,
To learn, perhaps, a heap of news,

To eat and drink, the song to sing a duet,
Then to dance … Yes, choice here big!
But to keep silent and to understand everything at the same time –
Perhaps only with close soul …

I dream

I dream...
I dream of days of love, of compassion and empathy
Days when we'll rise above battles and war, foes and enemies
I dream of days of brotherhood...
I dream of days of plenitude, of wealth to share amongst us all
Days when no one in solitude faces to starve and going cold.
I dream of days of sharing food...
I dream of days of peace, of honesty and kindness
Days when men reminisce of old stories for kids' happiness.
I dream of days of pure bliss...
I dream of days of being wise, of protecting the innocent..
Days when we look up in their eyes to find answers to our torment..
I dream of days where we seek truth...
I dream of days of construction, of a future in our present,
Days when the word education contains fun, laughter and amusement...
I dream of days of new order...
I dream of days of right for all, without gender, colour of skin..
Days when we take care of animals like if they were our next of kin...
I dream of days of protection...
I dream of days of liberty, of speech, of faith, of movement..
Days when borders forever will be, things of the past and atonement...
I dream of days of freedom...
I dream.. join me.. it's free...
And together, maybe, we can make our dream a joyful reality...

About this poem:
My father always saw me as a useless daydreamer.. last year he commented on a picture on my Facebook by saying "are you still dreaming!"
This was my answer to his question.. unfortunately he doesn't speak English.. so he'll never know what I dream about!!! ??

Sunset blues.......

The crimson sun delicately snuck behind the remainder of the day's clouds
Almost drawing them down as it sank vibrantly over the horizon
In its wake it left a hue of deep pink highlighting the dark blue of the distant mountain range and the deep greens of the valley in the forefront
In a mystical magical way it was enchanting and me in my grubby work clothes was transported from my despairing workplace to a beautiful place where I am constantly reminded what beauty abounds ..........that was all I needed to end my day..........
