Hope

Hope is the birthplace of our dreams; it’s perched in our souls.
Hope sings an eternal song avoiding all impossibilities with a returning option.
Hope is like an undistinguished flame that shouldn’t ever fully burn out.
Hope allows us to not hit rock bottom when all else fails.
Hope overshadows doubt and validates our choices in life.
Hope sets the tone for us to move forward looking ahead.
Hope demands self-forgiveness with less time to look backward.
Hope helps us to maintain clarity for future events.
Hope does not manipulate, dictate or control.
Hope is not silent but forever withstanding.
Hope is our static emotions in wait to fuel our dreams and aspirations.

Antivax Rats

The ship is sinking!
Rats doth flee,
Into the blue,
eternity.

In formless voids,
Rats do rant,
Until their words,
become scant.

A hobby horse,
A cause to vaunt,
But no science,
An empty taunt.

Sensationalist,
Conspiracies,
Rats to sink,
In raging seas.

Of misinformation,
And obfuscation,
There's no sense,
In obturation.

Still the rats,
Proclaim their cause,
Against all scientific laws.

"Vaccines are poison";
(They're apt to rant),
Although the proof,
Is rather scant!

Academia,
Is not their forte,
Into hysteria,
They do foray.

Using "science"
(Of which no one's heard);
Thus they "prove",
Their claims of merde.

Still, I don't wish them ill;
Because long covid's,
A bitter pill.

On they rave,
In words splenetic;
Vaccines (you see);
Make one magnetic!

They have a saint,
That you can see,
An osteopath;
Named Tenpenny.

Now, a saint's a saint,
(And sometimes useful);
Though in this case,
Is most untruthful.

Covid-19;
Designer virus,
Thus we need,
Vaccine inside us.

Coming from the "Institute"
(And that's a claim
They can't refute).

The way it is;
The world is now,
It's not my fault,
So don't have a cow.

Like an addict;
They know not still;
It's the Virus;-
That makes them ill.

There's another saint;
A medico;
Gain of function?
Oh no, no!

When it comes to covid,
Don't be grouchy,
Just say a prayer,
To Saint Fauci.

And lift that veil of,
Ignorance;
So you rats may,
Stand a chance!

Measure of Man

The measure of a man is not in his reputation
Unless it is the man who gives into temptation
Be careful the words you're speaking, what principles you're placing
Cause every single action has a day when you will face it
If you're keeping up with the times than you're already outdated
You think I'm lost in the clouds, but the clouds are where my faith is
For years I've been faithless, but for me that was basic
Dealt a life full of obstacles but I promise you I'll make it
The problem doesn't stress me it's the measures that I'm taking
Bad circumstances strengthen my determination
Don't focus on the money it's a product of my patience
Treasure ain't made of paper but of quality relations
The only guarantee in life is that it ends with you naked
So all of you that build check the ground where you're breaking
If it's possessions that you seek, than you fools are mistaken
True enlightenment is found way back in the making
Patience is a virtue, selected few earn the product
I dedicate my time and submit to the process
Acknowledge if it's fate, ain't nothing that can stop it
So I swim against the current and disregard all the comments
It's an interesting dilemma when all you have is options
I'm too talented to fail, execution's almost flawless
I fell too many times that I learned to be cautious
Risk is neccessity there's no excuse for any losses
Sleep on me now but I prefer you subconcious
It's better if you woke, you can witness the colossus
They'll speak to me for ages or remain in mental cages
The early bird gets the worm, the one sleep gets starvation
A lot of times in life it pays to be couragous
But speak in certain phrases and get no admiration
They'll phase you out in stages, left in isolation
The house is looking spacious but the barn is where you made it
I'm thankful for his patience, God really has arrangements
About to serve him only and never get complacent
If I get too outta placement, remind me of this statement
I owe the man my life, so my life I will pay him

~I'm a quiet man~

With a whole lot to say
At the bottom of that ballot
Was a box for an X.

Yet you studdered in pen
What you needed to say.

Look around you it's real
Beyond media hype!

Genial circus
With membership growth!

Self imposed blinders
Keeping it calm!

The future is yours
Yet in shadow you lurk!

My God can't you see
What's inside of that train
It keeps passing by
As each ticket is sold!

All future resides on our words being said
Yet, you curl up in a corner ingesting the news!
While it floats on by your reasonable mind.

Diversion attraction call it what you may
You're are part of the price the future must PAY!

About this poem:
What say you to this!I believe most people will shy away from a reply here, because of being afraid to speak out against what's in front of them. So it go'es to show that fear tactics work. I believe I'm here for a reason, not too sure what that reason is, but I'll not let fear interupt what I feel needs to be said.

Seeking Peacefulness

Is the pursuit of peacefulness worthwhile
Such as I discover in watching others
There is genuinely warmth in my smile
When I greet everyone as a brother

If the sun always shines somewhere
Does that mean my dreams are always possible
Not only for my own success is all I really care
Whatever mind my will makes unstoppable

Mistakes only make me want to press on
Get over them and beyond their past and dread
Just as each new day will bring a dawn
So why not enjoy brighter skies that still lie ahead

I think well of myself and life and peace
To live in harmony with all of God's creatures
Let me not take away nor rob and fleece
Just let creation portray all my features

Peace is always found in time and space
With faith and truth be the best I can be
All I really need to do is share my grace
And promise to be true to the best in me

Concierto de Aranjuez

A seafood risotto
mussels, mushrooms, a little salt
I'm pouring a little Cabernet
listening to Chet Baker and Paul Desmond
on Jim Hall's album Concierto
the tune Concierto de Aranjuez
if you haven't already
do it tonight
do it for your soul
don't let life slip by
without at least one listen

salamuna

who turns the earth?

The sky is ragged
And stars
Got visible in the holes.
The smell of rain
Has become
The only perfume for your soul.
You are canning summer air
In jars
So that November
Could be slightly diluted
With joy of June,
With shooting stars of August,
The tender sea waves of July
And love of March and April.
You preserve your thoughts,
Dreams and feelings
To open all the jars
On the New Year"s eve.
So in a kaleidoscope of emotions
You are the one who turns the earth..

Onwards into the Storm

Just as the willow
does not yield to the flood
nor fear the rains
spilling from the crags

nor does the tall pine
that severs the sky
fear the lightning shot
from the thunder ground

we shall not fear
this cursed pestilence
O! brave poets
of the corner

from whom the finest lyrics
are drawn from the rock
as did Arthur wield Excalibur
onwards into the storm my compatriots

Green Mussels

Yesterday I collected a bucket of mussels
from the rocks in the waist deep wash
while the fisherman looked on
from his rock
we cooked them on a camp gas cooker
with beer
sitting deck-chaired in the dunes
while the sun met the sea
the fisherman passed by
with a bountiful catch
we smiled
then up came the moon for a total eclipse
going orange like a mighty planet
nature was really working its miracles
just like Van Morrison said
When it's not always raining there'll be days like this
When there's no one complaining there'll be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me there'll be days like this

For a fighter

You were lost, and you did not understand that you should return, you walked and found no contrasts, you shone and there was no silence to let you be.
You searched for nothing, you gave up your promises, you humiliated your immortal condition, you left the end at the beginning, you stood on the wall of doubt.
You reached the threshold of failure, you turned your back on faith.
Even so, you are on time to finish what you have never started, break the chains that you yourself have created. Be Brave and look again! If it is victory! That is do not expect it to come to you! Arrive and Get it, along with this comes Happiness! ??
