Prostate Cancer and Arthritis

A sister once told me
If the male sperm sits too long in the testicles
It could cause prostate cancer and it's important
For men to have multiple ejaculations
Or even m**turbate often to release the sperm

Well, this brother told me that he agreed and he chokes his chicken
Or visits Mrs. Palmer and her five children often...
As much as possible!
And he admits that he doesn't have prostate cancer

However, he contracted arthritis
In the elbow, forearm, fingers, and wrist!
Now, ain't that about a b*tch?

The Perfect Poet

What is a poet ?
A poet has the ability to create great poetry literature,
Who is never stumped for writing great lines in poems
Someone who can always make each line rhyme with the next
A person with the ability to create a great poem title
The poem can have a powerful starting line,
Middle and a punch line at the end.
The poet needs to keep the audience totally interested
Never veering of course and giving total direction of the poem.
If you can do this kind of poem you will hold a captive audience
This in my opinion is the Perfect Poet, who will rise to great heights and become famous among his or her piers.

“Why did We Meet?” - I asked the God

“Why did we meet?” - I asked the God,
“Why is it that I love again as never did?”
The God responded: “Wait a little more,
Soon I will make you part – no more to meet.

You know, together you are not to be,
Not in this life for sure, just believe me,
But you yourself are well aware of this,
Law cannot be reversed, there’s not a thing for it.

It were you who asked to stay with him for blink,
For mere instance, just to look into his eyes.
No thanks, no gratitude from you I now need,
Though I’m aware you are sending curses up.

I gave you little more than you had asked,
If only for a shorter time, if not for endless spell.
But was is not for what you ever cried?
With him you’re happy, aren’t you?” And I will answer: “Yes!”

“Wasn’t it for what you ever prayed?
Feel happiness with him, be it for little while,
Say all you ever failed to say,
His tenderness, its smell to breathe inside.

You asked for kiss, I gave you nights,
You asked for tenderness, I gave you lust.
I gave you more, in vain you agonize,
It’s always painful falling from the height.”

“Do you remember, God, to you I prayed,
To let a part of him with me remain?”
And He responded in despondent way:
“I have this happiness in store for someone else.

Hold on to what you have, feel no regret for past,
And just remember that he was your happy chance,
That tenderness you keep in mind, with which you loved,
I’ll bring him back in dreams once you have closed the eyes.”

About this poem:
My translation of a Russian poetess for your pleasure, dear poets!
This poem is not about giving up on the past, we will cherish it to the end. It is about going on with our life and finding reasons to be happy, no matter what may be happening to us at the moment, cause life is more than the past, no matter how happy or troublesome, and it is more than the present with its worries and joys. Life itself is a precious thing appreciable in many ways with, sadly, end of the line at some point, so the mere fact of being alive and walking around seeing things should be filling us up with happiness!

A wave ride

Hold on there
Do not let the dark wave
Overpower you
Give in without giving up
Take a ride with it
Let it carry you
Away from the sea of troubles
Under the rain of streaming light
Shout out your pain
Dig it deep into the ground
And the flower will grow
Splash it on canvas
And mix with colors
Pour it on paper
It may turn into a poem

Love is Maddness

The silence is blissful
within my padded walls
till the voices start
i'm tormented once more,
crying whilst cradling
rocking back and forth
how am i here again
locked behind,the bolted door.

Blood on my lips
finger tips bitten
no time for crying
i spend my days spitting,
dry is my throat
even without flim
daily i spit out demonds
all for the love of him.

He who darkend my door
he who stepped into my shadow
he who did not walk away
he that stayed to follow,
demonds have held me back
but now love shall set me free
is he mad also
he,who is in love with me.

Confession

Balancing at the edge -
Is it possible to expose
The true, gentle, vulnerable yourself
And not get hurt?
Repeatedly burned
By being too close to the fire
Of love and friendships,
I kept coming back for more.
Playing safe
Was never an option.
The broken heart mends itself.
Stabbing wounds and scars
Turn into wrinkles as time passes.
No regrets,
The magic spark of connection
Is worth the trouble

A Broken Crutch........

It's been awhile
Since I last met you
But the feeling I have
Must only be true
How do I stop
And have a look at me
Why can't I see
What I need to see
Hopelessly I fall
Once again for your charm
No thought process occurs
Is this surely an alarm
Reaching forever reaching
So far but so close
My ignorance is alive
You're such a good host
Soaring with confidence
Flying with no fear
A splinter of light
Surely brings a tear
Only I have the power
Me myself and I
So why is it then
That I choose to die.........

Broken And Beautiful

A mould-shaped symmetrical bowl
has no character of its own
It's just like the mould-shaped others
and it is merely a clone
If the bowl is shattered to pieces
and the pieces stuck together once more
It creates a beautiful mosaic
that one cannot help but adore

The bark on the trunk of a young sapling
is just like that of any young tree
It is like an unwritten page
which is plain and ordinary
With age the bark gets cracked and broken
and acquires its own uniqueness
It provides a home for many insects
and becomes a thing of loveliness

About this poem:
Perhaps, it is because of the experience of being broken by hurt, and the suffering that goes with it, in whatever area of life, that we are able to experience greater depths of happiness at a later time.
Kahlil Gibran says:
"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain."
Perhaps, it is within the very cracks of our brokenness that we can discover a new joy and beauty that we may not be able to experience if we were not cracked and broken.
I wish to dedicate this piece to those who have experienced acute pain and suffering in their lives, whether in romantic love or otherwise.
Remember the words of Kahlil Gibran!
