revisiting.......

shivering to the bone
teeth chattering
clambering my way up over
shell encrusted rocks
sharp insensitive
picking my way
through the pockmarks
of weathered enscarpment
carved by neptune
pausing to peruse
the bay in all its glory
feathered chandeleir waves
winding across shifting banks
leaving but a trace
of sand and salt
as i reach my perch
small caves of time
where like a shag
i air myself to dry
under the warmth
of the winter sun
while searching
the crystal clear waters
for any marine life
i gaze along the empty beach
upto the furtherest point
saturating myself
in the wonderment and beauty
of this hidden bay
kissed by the sun
dressed by nature
i am still in awe
thirty years from then......

Night So Bright

Night so bright, it is like middle of day
Full moon bathing all in her silvery light
moonbeams making a staircase to the clouds
stars so close you could reach out for one

Shadows and moonlight meet and blend together
the darkness fading as the rays light it up
all the planets shinning as the orbit the sun
magical mysterious night full of sultry promise

Times like this heal and soothe, completing us
there is beauty in the smallest of things, look
gaze around and ponder, let the moon work her magic
filling you with her mythical translucent silvery light

The Mountain Vista

Mountain ranges all blurry
peeking through the mist
The sun is still rising
as it does the mist disperses

Showing us crevasses
faint wandering paths
near to steep ravines
trees dotted around

A quiet magical time
follows the dawn
deer appear to drink
the eagle swoops

Every where a surprise
snowdrops nestling
in a patch of snow
startling in their beauty

Loud raucous sounds
from the nesting crows
splendid ancient trees
by the winding path

High up is the summit
we toil to reach it
resting awhile to drink
in our surrounds

At last we are there
and it was worth it
at our feet valleys
full of wild flowers

All around pure magic
the vista so fresh
its images so sharp
here is an unspoilt place

The Night Of The Comet

Comets, meteors and asteroids travel through the galaxies
of outer space, and often pass by Earth on many occasions,
when a comet get's too close to earth it could cause a
cataclysmic result, even to the extent of the extinction of
all life on planet Earth, Halley's Comet visits our planet

once every seventy five years, it's last sighting was in 1985.
when it was very difficult to observe, but way back in 1910
it was a totally different story, many people thought it was
the end of the world, as it came closer and closer to the Earth.
People on the ground seeing this disturbing sight were saying

"it's getting larger and it is so bright" others were saying "It's
doomsday we are all going to die" the old man says "It will
veer off, It will not hit us" a little girl looks to the sky and says
"Hold me daddy I am scared", minutes later the comet veers
off back into outer space, the old man says, " I told you we

would be safe it happened like that when I first saw the comet
back when I was only twenty years old". The world is once again
safe, and the comet will not return for another seventy five years.

sunset

The dimming red glow
Sets apoun the sky
The motionless setting
Sun glows red in the sky

Slowly setting its highest point
Now on its final decen t
Bright glows its red glaring rays, setting glows wide
Envelopes the sky

Sun set approaches its final glow
Downward the setting sun moves
Slowly. Dipping slowly fades
Darkness approaches
The final glow faintly seen

Now out sight that last sun rays. It sides with darkness now set
We wait for the morning due are wait begins

Summer Idyll

She has been waiting in the wings
now, at last, it is her time to shine
slowly the bud opens to the mornings
sun, petals each reaching for sunshine

The glorious drone of the worker bees
as they rush from flower to flower
seeming to like, most of all, the lilies
basking in the sun, we take tea in the arbour

A blaze of startling colour in all the beds
picture perfect as we gaze in delight
the children, now tiring sit on the bedspreads
this summer's day they will remember in hindsight

Waterfall

As I walked through the trees
in the far distance I could hear
a rumbling yet tinkling noise
drawn towards the lovely sound

I moved into deeper denser woods
few sun patches can reach through
cold and dank, the air feeling icy
chilled to the bone I carry onward

When suddenly to my wonderment
I break through into a glade of fancy
the noise explained as cascading down
the waters seem to laugh, giggle and dance

Flumes of mist and steam arise
as the falling waters land on rocks
a small lagoon completes the vision
before me is stretched a paradise

A rainbow shines within the falls
and utter peace surrounds it all
a beautiful and secret hidden place
I walk away knowing I can return

That it will be there when I need solace
when I am weary and tired by life
here I will come to repair my soul
and give myself over to its harmony

It is a fragment of prose! correct my English, pls

Quiet day ...
The roses in this space are somewhat wilted and sad {}
Laughter is not fulfilled in this environment ?
Birds sometimes calms down, sometimes it annoys ...
"Silver Rain" continually fall ... Thanks to Heaven!
Sporadically a sparrow sings, somewhat lonely
A motorcyclist passes by raucous street not
The sun is still warm,
My love calls me and says give me attention
Little things girls heart - who likes to hear a gentle song
I love you!

To Belong (Waterfall Challenge)

the roar of water
floods my senses
my hearing intoxicated
my vision overwhelmed
majestically pouring
its heart out
over time smoothed rocks
dancing within the eddies

a dress of white
cascading beautifully
elegantly softly
embellishing the surround
to be painted in colours
as bright an inspiring
as the birds in song
to allow this natural beauty
to feel to live
to belong........
