In Spring

Spring is coming
when cool wind blowing ;

Spring is coming
when light rain falling ;

Spring is coming
when warm Sun beaming ;

Spring is coming
when faint fragrance floating ;

Far and near
echoed with birds singing;

Here and there
decorated with new green ;

Then now again
the new leaves whispered in the wind:
Yes ,the Spring is coming really!

For all of these
how can I not to praise you!

About this poem:
Thoughts in rain, try to write down but am not a good writer.I want to learn... So please bear with me.Thanks.

PS: The typical Spring days in Shanghai drizzled often mixed with fallen leaves ... Sometimes you can walk on street with no umbrella and can enjoy this misty rain as well ...

Evening Serenity

Outside my window
There hangs a lonely sun
Drifting so slowly
Behind the mountain view

Shadows creep closer
Coming to take the light away
The fog begins to make its bed
On the rolling hills

It's late in the Evening
I can see the trawlers coming into bay
The seaguls follow
Hoping for one last meal

Rain clouds creep in from the sea
To change the tone of day
Cattle in a far off place
Say goodnight to all in the land

Solitude through nature
Its beauty captures my senses
Could sit here for hours
And make peace with all there is

It's quite reassuring
To know all the same will happen tomorrow
Outside my window
I can see the evening for what it is

Outside my window
Is the only friend I need

Dirt

Embedded image from another site

Dirt only knows how to be honest it's man who makes it stain
A dirty mouth, a dirty thought, or by something more mundane
Without it there isn't pond or lake nor any oceans to behold
To generate the wind over land and flowers to be blown
It cradles all the roots of plants for all that needs to eat
Giving to the trees that give our lungs the air to breathe
Dirt will leave it's mark upon the hands of an honest working man
It's the smudges on the faces of little children when they laugh
Add a little water and it becomes a thing we use to build
Then give it a little time and history is frozen still
It is as much a part of us as we are to the earth
It's the purist form of life and even in death it will rebirth
She is the mother of our creation and gentle like a woman's eyes
She comforts our existence and the apple of our heavens sky
So when that day should come please don't place me in a wooden case
Throw dirt upon my naked body so that gardens may take my place

redsky

Yellow glow
orbe so bright
Fiery tentical
Flames of light

Hot breath
Fires of heat
Send forth into the darrknes
The heat and light

Replenishred
It hydrogen gas
Fires burn that glows on the dark
We look to the night sky

That orbe shines bright
Heats are earth gives us light
Heats are oceans gives us life
Replenises are forest soaks up the oceans
Spreads the water on cloudy days
Forest bloom on rainy days

Beauty in nature

If only I could see and be as natural
as a tiger.

As tactful as a praying mantis

Loving as a lioness to her cubs.

as communal as bees in a hive

How natural instincts in animals
is unwarped by progress.

How I strive to be like that

As articulate and luring as the Golden Gower bird

We surrounded in beauty how be much better

be one with that.

Travel challenge.....Orientalkoru

I was asked to go to tassie
to do some work down there
no anchors in my life
no worries i said without care
a plane trip down to melbourne
did open my eyes wide
the terminals so far apart
in between macca's did reside
after dragging my gear along
for about a kay and a half
i reached the gate of departure
with not a skerrick of a laugh
boarded that jet all tuckered out
but my enthusiasm high
snuggled into that seat
and let the flight enthuse my sigh
it was hot when we left
but the clouds came rolling in
with it came the cold
and nowhere to be seen my grin
it drizzled when we landed
it drizzled when we ate
it drizzled when we arrived at camp
it drizzled till very late
then it poured like there was no tomorrow
and then it bloody stopped
and then without warning
it poured a bloody lot
i didn't see too much the time i was there
my bum was up and my head down
no time there was to spare
but i do remember seeing
the densest forest i have ever seen
as i clambered up the hill
it stretched for miles beautiful and green
you could not see a metre in
it was so very dense
it called out to me
its beauty made sense
i'd swear i'd go back
and spend a year there
and explore the place they called tassie
an experience i'd like to share ........

Contemplation

Embedded image from another site

Every morning he walked the path through immortal trees
Just right before dawn while natures at peace
Deep in the forest he listened to the shivering leaves
Celebrating their life with only the weight of a breeze
Strolling on through the wilderness still foggy with mist
With every step he's determined inhaling the wind
Surveying the landscape divided by rolling slopes
In search of the one perfect flower that will give meaning to hope
Beyond rushing streams in final remnants of night
Etched with the last silvered thorns of adorning moonlight
Near the end he discovered with sorrow decayed and disheveling trees
But then he heard cheerful whispers from the first birds to sing
As the morning swords of sunrise gave birth to new eyes
He admires the passion of the dying inspiring new life
And with contemplation he studies a beautiful rare flower in bloom
Growing upon the dead flesh of the earth and with peace his heart was consumed

Terra and Luna

terra opens her robe
and luna softly slips in..
mother comforting daughter
as the shadow spins

hiding each other
from dawn of day
holding each other
to keep the sun away

but alas the sun
will not be held back
mother loses daughter
as the robe goes slack

the moon slides away
sky slowly brightens
the old sun rising
to bring a new day

Anthesis

Embedded image from another site

Please do not disturb the beast in its peaceful and quiet place
Where the dead leaves are dancing merrily in a gentle wind of faith
Along skeleton paths of disheveled trees you can hear them whispering
Honoring autumns remnant decay and conjuring efflorescent spring
While birds begin to whistle in such a sweet soliloquy of melodies
Runaway ye fearless child into the darkness where you sleep
And clear a path for the wild ones leading to your hollowed grove
Where I found feasting among the dead a red blossoming velvet rose
Surrounded by a halo of darkness under a piercing blade of sun light
Tempted by its pleasure the beasts will insist that it's alright
Then by thoughtful contemplation I plucked it as blood mixed with tears began to drop
Painfully I pulled every petal repeating "she loves me so, she loves me not"
My Oh My how the colors have changed with the wondrous seasons reign
I guess she no longer loves me, but isn't that just natures way
Shy away you phantoms and let the new cycles of life rebuild their homes
Leave the undead to worry for themselves and let my luminous flowers grow

The seasons

In the summer we played
through the warm
sunny days,
we laid back
and soaked up the rays.

In the fall
we dressed up,
drank cider
from a cup
not wanting
to view the
seasons facts.

Now winter has come
our sweaters
we don
cooped up inside
by the fire
we reside
living through
winters pain.

Finally! spring
has sprung
we jump
and run
through the
pouring of
the rain.
