Don't Worry, Be Happy

I am a fearless Kiskadee
Sitting on a branch of this tree
Singing my theme song happily
With a Kis Ka Dee Kis Ka Dee

I sing my song very sweetly
Seeking to make others happy
Filling them with ecstasy
With its rhythm and melody

My message is not to worry
Despite how things in life may be
Don't let them make you feel crazy
At all times, strive to be happy

One can state things that are likely
But no one knows what things will be
So keep your chin up cheerfully
And sing Kis Ka Dee Kis Ka Dee.

About this poem:
The Great Kiskadee (Pitangus Sulpharatus) is indigenous to Central and South America, the Caribbean and Southern Texas.

I have added two more videos.
One actually shows a kiskadee in action singing his song.
The other gives an audio of one kiskadee calling and another kiskadee answering.

Along Came A Spider

When we all think of spiders we think of
them as a annoying insect that bothers
us around our homes or in the garden

The spider is one of the most intelligent
insects in the world. They have the ability
to build their own home without the help
from other spiders and in very quick time.

The spider web is a masterpiece in
engineering design, glistening when the sun's
rays shine across the gossamer threads as
each fibre resonates when the wind
blows through it or when unsuspecting
prey stumbles into it.

When the spider needs food he hides
at the corner of the web waiting for
an insect to stumble into this elaborate
trap, the spider then strikes down his
victim; spiders can co exist with everyone
if they are allowed to be left alone.

A special person

She was born in the east
But the east people says
She is just like western person
Because she is crazy about western culture

When she tried in the fantasy of the west
The western people says
she is just an eastern devil

what on hell is she?
Where should she live?

she has to linger on
the crevice between
the east and west

linger on and on....

SUN..

GRACIOUSLY LUMINOUS RAYS OF CREATION AND CROWN OF THE SOLAR PLEXUS
THE ENERGY OF ALL ECOSYSTEMS,
REPEALLING THE DARKNESS THAT SHADOWS THE SUCCOUR OF MY EXISTENCE.
SUN, THE UNIQUE SHAPE OF PRIMORDIAL GOD,
FAITHFULLY RISING EACH DAY AND PATIENTLY AWAITING
MY SUPPLICATIONS TO ABSORB;
SHINE AND MELT AWAY, THE ICY FLOSS THAT WANDS HUMANITY ON THE ALTER OF MEDIOCRITY AND CONSTANT DECLINE,
SHINE YOUR RAYS OF DISCERNMENT,
THAT MAN MAY KNOW THE ESSENCE OF LIVING,
SHINE YOUR RAYS OF GOOD TIDINGS,
THAT EARTH MAY KNOW PERFECT PEACE!

Summer Bliss

Your beauty astounds me
breathing new life into the
very essence of my soul.

Capturing the awe and
greatness as my eyes gaze
into the captivating wonders
which surround my very
world.

Clouds swiftly pass by as the
summer sun dawns it's beams
Upon me.

And the mountaintops are
glazed by the shadows with
which you cast forth.

The trees dance in the wind
as leaves rustle through the
summer air.

A breeze faintly breathes
through the skies above

I smell the lush of fragrant flowers
which bring forth a
fragrant paradise looming
intense wonders which
awakens my senses.

A masterpiece shining forth
many colours
petals as soft as velvet, each
one as soft as the wings of a
bird which sings the sweet
melodies to the heavens
above.

silver dawn

a silver dawn dresses the eastern sky
a beauty of which I can not deny
a blanket of grey as far as I can see
discolours the sun and hides it's identity
a whispering breeze kisses my skin
as distant birds begin to sing
I feel a stillness so profound
and ponder on this silent ground
rare is the day that calms the soul
that peaceful way to make me whole
I wish this magic on distant shores
bless the people who can open their doors
never to worry about their day ahead
only to appreciate nature instead........

death for a thousand times

bright sunny day
excited nibbling
ominous ripples

hooked
pinched
released

a death for a thousand times

I'm glad
I have no gills

Time Running Away

Time is aways running away
Never finding its steady place
Keeper needing constant minding
Wearing away the numbers on its face
Gears getting weaker with every winding
Everything starts going out of pace
We getting older ever more reminding
How slowing down never wins any race
Fast or slow the mighty sea still grinding
Each grain of sand falling into its place
Everyday the sun maketh a moon shining
No matter what we believe is the case
Caught up in the act of falling or rising
Always coming from the same place
Steady as when a compass is aligning
Light oh sun!!! ….fill up in our space

Longing

Lost in between yesterday and today,
the memory all to strong...
the smell... the taste... the longing...
Closing ones eyes can even make the noises come alive.
touch...tasting the salty...the sweetness...
Forever never knowing why...
the hurt ...the tears... and retreats...
only looking for more...
wants...desires and needs.

THE FOREST

THE FOREST:
"NATURE'S GIFT"
PEOPLED WITH TREES
LIKE DANCING TONGUES OF FLAMES TO WARM THE HEART.
SHELTER LURES ME,
FIRST STEP, A BIT OF A NIGHTMARE TRIP.
THEN EVERY STEP KEEPS FEAR AT BAY!
GREETED BY AN ARMY OFTREE SOLDIERS AND A PLEASANT SCENE OF FLOWERS WAVING THEIR GROOVY HEADS.
TREES RUSTLE LIKE GLIDING SKY CROWS CARESSING THE AIR WITH EACH STROKE
THE SONG OF THE TREES LAY BARE THE BEAUTIFUL WILDLIFE OF THE WOODS: INSECTS, BIRDS AND ANIMALS
AMID THE THICK FOLIAGE I TRAVERSED THE BRIDLE WOODY PATHS
THE PLEASURE I FIND HEALS MY ITCHY MOODS!
I COULD PERCIEVE A FRAGRANCE AS OLD AS THE WORLD,
THE AROMA OF EDEN.
HERE, I AM QUITE ALONE WITH THE HEAVENS, THE BEAUTY OF NATURE AND GOD.
