Forrest

Mother Nature is a Forrest wild beautiful deep

Fresh as the snow innocent as a doe

Nurturing the seed that entwined her

Laid bare is her soul

Echoes of love in her footprints

Timeless as the bird that sings

Is her cheek upon a wing of an angel

Dark is her knight

Light is her touch

Timeless beauty deep in the heart and soul.

heroes songs

Valhalla
though your gates are hung with the gold
of heroes songs
accommodation you offer
only bones in dirt
like every souls birthright

yet still they call
the sirens of a younger mans dreams

Moon Beams------- a wayra

With moon shining bright
casting long silvery shadows
that hide the lovers from sight
as they lay together
by the river in dappled shade

once upon a time....

beautiful bali
a victim of time
revered for its surf
waves absolutely sublime
many a footprint
did approach it then
but now its a gallop
of who where and when
no laws to abide by
no respect paid in full
just total abuse
and many hospital bill
alcohol and drugs
pervade the night
endless partying
amongst locals plight
they bring in the money
for there cheap good times
but damage the spirit
of an ancient kind
as i sit back and wonder
how development grows
the double edged sword
and the wounds that are sewed
once again man has managed
to overwhelm all
and damage a country
thus dividing all ........

THE BEAUTY OF GOD'S CREATION

ALL OF GOD'S CREATION
IS SO BEAUTIFUL TO ME,
EVERY RIVER, EVERY LAKE,
EVERY OCEAN, AND EVERY SEA;
THE SUNRISES AT DAWN
TO GIVE US THE MORNING LIGHT,
AND THE MOON AND THE STARS IN SPACE
ARE LIKE SPARKLING DIAMONDS IN THE SKY AT NIGHT
THE MOUNTAIN PEAKS
ARE COVERED WITH SNOW,
ABOVE A BEAUTIFUL GREEN MEADOW
IN THE VALLEY BELOW;
THE FLOWERS, THE TREES, THE BIRDS, THE BEES,
THEY ALL DISPLAY BEAUTY, IN THEIR OWN WAY,
IT WAS ALL CREATED BY THE HANDS OF GOD
FOR EACH OF US TO ENJOY EACH DAY;
SO EACH TIME WE SEE A FLOWER BLOOM
EACH TIME A BIRD FLIES BY,
EACH TIME WE LOOK UP TOWARD HEAVEN
AND SEE A RAINBOW IN THE SKY...
...WE MUST REMEMBER...
THAT IT IS GOD WHO DESERVES THE PRAISE!!!

A DAY AT THE PARK

THE WEATHER WAS SO HUMID
SO STICKY AND SO HOT,
THE SUN WAS BEAMING DOWN SO BRIGHT
I HAD TO FIND A COOL SPOT;

I WALKED OVER TO THE PARK
TRYING TO FIND A BREEZE,
I WALKED DOWN BY THE WATER
AND SAT BENEATH THE TREES;

I WATCHED THE LITTLE CHILDREN
AS THEY WERE PLAYING ON THE RIDES,
SOME WERE ON THE SEESAWS
AND SOME WERE ON THE SLIDES;

I NOTICED A FLOCK OF BIRDS
AS THEY WERE PASSING BY,
THEY FORMED A GREAT FORMATION
AS THEY FLEW ACROSS THE SKY;

IT FELT SO GOOD TO GET AWAY
FROM THE NOISY STREETS AT HOME,
AND JUST SIT HERE IN THE PARK ALL DAY
AND MEDITATE ALONE!

MAY MOON

May 17, 2014

I search the sky along the horizon,
slowly, carefully, for clear signs of you.
May Moon, tonight you’ll ascend, full and high,
and I’ll be watching as I always do.

Like a playful mistress, you wink and glow;
just a hint of presence, yon eastern hill.
You steal my breath with your birth rise dance.
Your magic leaves me stunned and perfectly still.

Mysterious Luna, I raise my arms,
your scared energy kisses my face.
Fill me with wisdom as shadows grow tall.
The secrets of time, you guard so with grace.

A wisp of clouds becomes a dance of veils;
an intrigue to catch a glimpse of pure light.
The clouds grow denser, filling in spaces,
till you become a dot, swallowed by night.

I watch, I wait, anxious for your return.
Sister Moon, I crave your calm company.
The scent of rain heightens, the breeze, cooler;
the chill licks my flesh to the bones of me.

All my life, I have shared my dreams with you.
We have cycled and phased in prefect sync.
As I turn to go, the rain starts falling.
I look up in time for a final wink.

About this poem:
I have been intrigued by Moon energy all my life and there is definitely some crazy energy with the moon. I have always felt we were like sisters somehow. I've never related to The MAN in the moon. Ever! She's always been this lovely, ethereal being that I could talk to and share with. Yeah, I know, but I still do feel that way. She's like Stevie nicks somehow. LOL. ANd sometimes in life we just don't get what we want. Sigh. Make sense to anyone?

Into the Night

As the cold winter air touches my nose
The white snowflakes comes down in a rush
When they hit the ground – all turn into slush
My face and my nose are like a red rose
A deer runs by and stops quick in a pose
I round up the dogs and tell them to mush
A bellowing wind blows in like a gush
It howls like a wolf – that’s how it goes

Along the way I hear a shrill call
All the birds of the forest take flight
In the distance I spot a large tree fall
Suddenly I pause and then turn to the right
The woods look like a forbidding dark wall
As my journey proceeds into the night

sunshine

On. The beach the maidens lay
Soaking in the suns rays
Rubbing oil so they won't burn
Boobs out oh what joy to watch

Blistering in the mid day sun
Hour on the front
Hour on the back
Soaking up that hot sun

To desire that all over tan
There they lay
All tanned and hot
All day getting hot basting in the sun

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
