Ive not been here for a bit,
Im sorry Ive not been by,
Im sorry I have missed you all,
but heres the reasons why,

Life has been crazy here,
Im not the only one,
Its one thing after another,
If its not my dad, its my mum

If its not friends coming to stay,
Its the typical man flu,
If im not working away,
Im trying to decorate my loo,

Its one thing after another,
but this much is true,
despite this hectic life,
I enjoy sharing with all of you

So im sorry if ive neglected,
some fantastic written stuff,
and missed the chance to tell you all,
how its been smooth with the rough

We all have our problems,
and each seem so much worse
but atleast I have "The Corner"
to read and share my verse.

Mind entangled, ideas swirled
Past reflection, memories sought
Plans for future, just a thought

In your gaze, a million things
Behind blue eyes an idea springs
Pondering on your search for love
Wishing for the one dreamed of

What’s on that legal mind of yours?
Could it be some distant shores?
This picture that I have admired
Has truly got my heart inspired?

No fancy foot steps,
Angry neighbours banging on my door,
Volume to max blasting my heart's content!

You are dancing like a zombie!

DJ spin my hottest dance song!
Beating heartbeat insync with thumping drums!

Oh yeah ! Iron fists and rocking
Sway like a leaf ,to and fro ,
Move that body guys and feel the heat,

I cant keep it up! No stamina to follow the beat,

The music still playing ,
But i'm just not in it.
The next best thing to do,
Just step by step slow robo..
Not like some monkey on high!
Give a pause ,a nod ,and begin,
Dance ,move like fire on your pants!
Pick up some funky rhythm, Come on,here we go again ...

Your heart is dead ,mine is lead!
A boom ,a thud is nothing with a heart.
Cheapsake ,drop dead ,mary had it very late!
Come on,romance , let me take you for a date !!!
The heart break,our life takes,
Not dead but pain,
Intense? Come on let's dance...
A hug for you ,is mean for me .
A kiss from you ,and all is well :)
Love not least from the lunatic fool,
Dont waste your time ,just jump in my swimming pool!
Oh gosh ! I forgot ...it's not mine ,oh hell just swim and smile.
Last not least ...dont forget ...your heart is not DEAD !

So what are we all doing on this site?
Looking for our Mr. or Mrs. Right?
Not how you thought you’d spend Saturday night
Sending a message, not knowing what to write

Too fat, too thin, too short or too tall
Its morning by the time you’ve gone through them all
So up to bed you finally crawl
And into your dreams you quickly fall

And when you awake you hurry like hell
Back downstairs to switch on the Dell
Which seems to boot up at the pace of a snail
To check your inbox to see if there’s mail

You click on your mailbox and peek with one eye
To see if anyone bothered to at least say “Hi”
Someone has, you’re excited until you read their reply
“I’m sorry but you’re not my type……..goodbye”

And so you begin your search once more
You won’t give in because you know the score
You find someone you like but there’s one major flaw
They’re the same bloody people you E-mailed before


So many lonely hearts gathered in one place
Looking for someone to put a smile on their face
Have so many people fallen from grace?
Or just stepped aside from the human race?

So when you’re next searching, read the text they put in
Don’t look to see if they’re fat or thin
Or judge them by the shade of their skin
Because the person we seek may lay deep within

Come quell this tempest within me,

Replace it, with the wings of a dove,

Let me experience paradise,

And walk, on the clouds up above,

Let a sea of tranquility envelop me,

Shooting stars, light my way through the night,

The smell of sweet blossoms surround me,

As I wake, in the new mornings light,

Quench my thirst, with the water of life,

Let me hear, a chorus of angels sing,

Love me just the way I am,

And if you do, then I'll have everything...

The stillness of the night steals my thoughts away,

Darkness unleashes its storm,
Inside my mind,

Its gathering clouds spew forth,
Raindrops,

That burn my soul,

A cloudburst of memories soak,
into the very heart of me,

Silver threads of light,
Bind me,

As backwards i am pulled,
towards old fears,

Joy, mingled with pain,
unable to break free from,

The gossameer web that now,
Surrounds me,

Night time, my old enemy....

Can you hear this scream echoing inside my head,
Can you hear the pounding of my heart,
Can you hear the confusion of my thoughts,
Can you hear the stretching of my nerves,
Can you hear the cold hand of fear grasping my heart,
Can you hear the desolation sweeping over me,
Can you hear the lonliness as it envelops me,
Can you hear my silent plea for help ?

But i know you can see these things in my eyes
and in my movements,
So therefore you ARE listening to me,

Iam happy to see you here
till yesterday,you were a stranger to me
but today you are precious to me

I have been searching everywhere for love and friendship
mean while all this time,you have been so close to me
why should I worry about the dark stormy clouds
when you are like the rays of the sun to me

Come sit and drink something with me
I will share my story with you and you share yours with me
where are you from and what you do is not important
Iam just happy for the simple fact that you are here with me

Life is not always easy,that much I know
you have also been through a lot,that much I know
but you dont have to be a lone traveller in the journey of life
thats why I say that Iam happy that you are with me

It does not matter what you wear
it also does not matter how rich or poor you are
if you are a cleaner or a professor
I accept you the way you are

some moments can be worth a lifetime
friendship and love is not a crime
so stop wandering aruond and come home
beacuse Iam always happy to have you next to me.
