Boom! a tower on fire! Boom boom, plane hits another! Looking in shock and disbelief, anger sadness anguish grief. Loss of so many souls, thousands the death toll. But who caused such pain? Egos enflamed for political gains. Religious and political ideology, middle/east rhetoric western democracy. Wars with unknown directions, propaganda fed to nations. Talk of missiles of mass/distruction. America with it's burning bush, bin laden fighting from ancient cush. But does this really matter; to the man in the street? Issues of bread and butter, hungry souls, no food to eat. We are now so weiry, we need a long break. God lend us a hand, no more, we can't take!

I have cut across border,
I have traveled a lot,
And with ten humble poems
I have passed Rubicon.
Tucked nicely in corner
Of the Poets' Abode,
I have placed them for comments,
Always lavish and prone.
In remarks you would make
And in comments austere,
You are driving to point
In a style most sincere.
I am placed at your mercy
Awaiting my lot.
Here's to my fellow poets,
Here's to our great goal!

Look, go to france! Yes, go to france boy. Often mother's last stance, when she was annoyed. We all know mothers, one thing they fret! Avoiding words with 4 letters, words they would regret. Cussing the kids politely, using obscenity with tact. Telling us kids kindly: get the monkey off my back. Rain rain go to spain, and never come again. These children seem pained, looking helpless at the rain. This their unanimous cry, wishing the rain away. Anything they will try, on their mind is play. Kids don't need diplomacy, they don't need tact. What they mean simply: get the monkey off my back! You filed for bankruptcy; protection from the courts. You know you owe money, but creditors you must thwart. Mail after mail coming, not to mention your phone. Your bills just not going; lord, you are debt prone. You don't have money, that is the fact. Wall street: this not funny. Get your monkeys off my back!

Who taking care of my garden? You know that's my personal eden! And for my sweet little fluff? That pretty dog has had enough! My poor husband i know he tries. I pray his meals aren't french fries. It's said: your grandchildren are bright! Still, hope they being raised right. They better make payments to our loan; i couldn't afford to lose my home. As for my position in church; they were warned: start your search. Now, let me take my final rest. I do, wish you all the best!

LOVE LETS ME
Ride on the wings of a butterfly
Float on the breath of a breeze
Follow the path of a rainbow
Sing to the humming of bees
Sway to the rhythm of raindrops
Dance in the warmth of the sun
Reach out to touch a moonbeam
See beauty in everyone
Bask in the glory of starlight
Walk on an ocean so blue
Wake everyday with a song in my heart
Thanking god for the wonder of you........

She dreams of romance, him that special find. He sees her breastplate, but only his mind. Great tales of wonder, both so often tell. Just finding the other, and all will be well. Is it by chance or design they meet? A party or dance, a frolic or feast? A casual evening walk or is it at noon? A long distance talk or trip to the moon? Others i can't know, mine i will define. Byfaith i will go, to find love divine. Though we may dwell, a great distance apart. Destiny has it's sequels, for joining of hearts. The seas gathers waters, from the whole earth. Two souls comes together, being ordained from birth!

He can be arrogant and selfish
He can drive me to despair
He can anger, hurt and sadden me
Without a thought or care.
He can make me feel so helpless
He can make me scream and shout
He can make me feel so many things
But I know without a doubt,
That always I will love him
Until my dying day.
I always will protect him
No matter come what may
I always will defend him
Be he wrong or right,
Strive to keep him safe from harm
With all my power and might.
My life I'd gladly give for him
If ever need may be
For I love him more than life itself
I'm his Mum, he's my Son, you see....

I MET A GREAT GUY ON LINE
AND HAD THE MOST FABULOUS TIME 'CHATTING' AWAY
TO THIS MAN EVERY DAY
AND FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIS MIND
WE GOT ON SO WELL
IT WAS EASY TO TELL
WE MATCHED! WE WERE TWO OF A KIND
WE TALKED AND WE JOKED 'ON THE SCREEN'
COULD THIS BE THE MAN OF MY DREAMS?
HE CALLED! AND SUGGESTED WE MEET
OH! LORD I WAS GETTING COLD FEET!
BUT HE SOUNDED SO GREAT
I AGREED TO A DATE!
NEXT DAY HE ASKED FOR A DATE
HE SOUNDED SO NICE, I DIDN'T THINK TWICE
SAID ¨YES: I'LL MEET YOU AT EIGHT¨.
AND THOUGHT ¨WOW¨! I CAN'T WAIT!¨
HE SAID ¨DINNER AND WINE¨?
SHALL I BOOK IT FOR NINE¨?
I SAID, ÖH ! YES THAT'S FINE¨
WAS SO NERVOUS I COULDN'T GET DRESSED
TOTALLY WOUND UP AND STRESSED!
¨WHICH DRESS? ¨I CAN'T CHOOSE
AND ¨HEAVENS! WHAT SHOES¨?
COULD THIS REALLY BE MR RIGHT?
THAT I'M MEETING AT EIGHT TONIGHT
SO 'WHY THEN AM I UPTIGHT'
BUT I HAD A GREAT TIME
AND SOON I SIGNED OUT!-OFF LINE.
i FOUND THIS FAB MAN ON THE NET
I KNEW AS SOON AS WE MET
HE WAS FUN, HE WAS KIND
HE 'GOT INTO' MY MIND
IN A WAY THAT I'LL NEVER FORGET!

goin' down into the data mine
pickin' 'n clickin' on your dime
iconic, picturesque, do we click?
or is it just some network shtick.
facing your book or viewin' my space
do we fit each others digital place
baby wanna be your friend, your friend
wanna download love and not pretend
I got an app that we can pull up now
don't unfriend me, I'm not one to disavow
I'm cool, I'm cool, not just some geek
I'm way too jazzed a digital freak
we can rap and dance and party all night
go back to your place 'n run some delight
see baby I wanna jus' wanna be your friend
how can I get next to you to comprehend
I'm so hard to find a digital mate
only cameras and screens can we relate
digital dating got my fingers crossed
to find lusty love and not love lost
baby baby you know you stream me
I'll IM you and you can claim me
we'll be like we were meant to be
live happily ever after a guarantee
this is our digital dating rap
you'll fall in love I'll fall in your lap
