Something, something that is bidding
Eyes opening in the darkness
Rushing, whooshing, charging
Firesparks flashing bright
Destiny bidden from nowhere
And imprinted, implanted, impressed
Deep within the human core
A heartbeat from the heart.

About this poem:
I wrote many of my poems during my black depression years as a young lady (mind you I was still a virgin up until my late 20s by my choice so maybe that's why I was depressed lol) I was very spiritual and into a lot of spiritual things like heaven, hell, destiny, Fate, tarot card readings, etc

Into the abyss
One ventures in time
From birth to
Heaven
One dwells in time
As we age
Changes we not notice
for we change
With a blink of an eye
from childs knowledge
We gain matter and thought
are knowledge expands we gain
Are mind active are
are bodies decay
Inside we dwell keeping the world outside
We protect are selfs
As we grow old
We look in mirrors at are souls
For death is near
The reppers bell tolls
As we age we grow old

The Smells of years
before
came
Slipping away
a new adventure
New silence
Yet crashing
storms
I know always be
aware
heaving
a
sigh
as
darkness
was
such a
current lie
turn will
your
escape
or
be prepared

I can feel myself fall into the eternal bliss,
All this worlds hurt will never be missed.
I loose a hold and slip into the void,
this dreaded misstep has long been foretold.
I reach up for a hold to keep me in this world,
but I know what has stricken me hopeless and cold.
My destiny looms before my very soul,
Hell is predestined to receive my immortal soul.
I scream for the very thing that I desperately need,
But eternal hurt is all that I feed.
My soul screams for a desperate release,
something dark denies my prayer for eternal bliss.
I know that hurt will encompass my lingering days,
till death takes its abysmal ways.
My last scream is for a single prayer,
it's all that I can hope will take me there.
I'm deceived, all that remains is remorse and doubt,
I know now there's only one way I'll ever get out.

About this poem:
Not a light read, but an insight into a time when I felt alone and abandoned. Not for my taste, but how I felt after a rather dark time in my life. I also write childrens stories, ironic isn't it. 180 degrees from my poem I posted yesterday. I have more let me know what you want. kindly---Penwick

Standing in the desert once again
Without my illusory den
You danced your devil’s dance
I oscillated in your beguiling black-swamp romance
Sweet chocolate-words dripped from your tongue-snake
I ate your poison cake
I wore my sentimental fool cloak
You wore your cheater’s toque
We danced with the butterflies and birds
All along you were girds
You gave me a reek swamp drink
You pushed me to the cliffhanger brink
Wild horses dragged me back to the memory-putrid
A flame red hatred is thundering deep inside me
Still feel the raptors menacing eyes
Their claws demonize
Asphyxiating my innocence
No helping hand
You have thrown me to the raptors again
Feel their sebaceous wen
We lost our twined
I am now only a string in the wind

About this poem:
I wrote this poem after my former husband cheated and then abandoned me

Her last breath a silent call for help
She bleeds she clings on to life
Her desperate fight lost
Now a horror scene
A dying mother she cannot scream
Her eyes close
Horror takes over the mind
Her last has memory will be held in time
Flowers footballs messages will create a shrine
An understanding is hard take
The papers create a profile so fake
Pictures of a loving Dad
All the pictures full of joy not one sad
The real story yet untold
Woman killed by man a story so old
We want to know
We want the reason why
The paper's and media tried to disguise
The woman's name is Clodagh
A hero to a fault
She died trying to save those close to her heart
As her husband practiced his killing art
We want the media to rip off the disguise
Print the news without the lies
Print the truth let us know
Why you turned this tortured mother into a sideshow

Fire of guns
Gray sky
On to the fields
So many die
The guns of death
bodies lie
The smell of death lingers
Shakes the bodies core
Senceless slaughter
Youth cut in thier prime
We remeber the somme
We remember them
They wont be back
But we remember them

Mirror never told me lie, eyes are crying
Sitting and looking at soaked eyes, new story is raising
An old feel of inside is lashing my mind, grief is coming
This feeling is burning everything, horizon is fading
Speak to me far from your heart, madness is laughing
I want to break my picture, light is vanishing
I can’t hear anything from that side, the lips are moving
Broken face is blind to see my feeling, tears are vanishing
I can’t see anything on my face, darkness is piercing
Each piece of my face has departed, loneliness is coming
I can’t see my friend here anymore, he is going
Looking at dark side of him, nothing is changing
I am still here with soaked eyes, no one is looking

It torturous feeling like you're doomed
long ago any faith was fully consumed
Hopelessness the state I'm drowning in
ponder if punishment for previous sin
When alone life can seem void of movement
this despicable existence made me indignant
Not sharing everyday life pains me most
doubt and despair take turns playing host
For inducing laughter I have a knack
'never' give with assumption of payback
Inside me beats a heart as BIG as ANY
desire to do for others surpasses plenty
My exterior doesn't mirror my inner feeling
undesirable thoughts rarely cease reeling
How people feel most don't care to hear
in every troubled soul lives crippling fear
Acting on beliefs presumes one mentally ill
humans a mistake you can never repeal

About this poem:
If someone does something they feel is justified
because of their passion for right..
they are deemed a mental case.
That's not (always) a FACT... Period!

"It is sad"
It is unfortunate that these thoughts go through someone's head seeking attention.
It is unfortunate that these thoughts go through someone's head without realising they are not alone.
It is unfortunate that these thoughts go through someone's head without realising they can have assistance.
It is unfortunate that these thoughts go through someone's head without realising that someone has been through the this.
It is unfortunate that these people do not seek aid from those that have been there.
It is sad

About this poem:
AdamsAnt ended up with this being my comments relating to his poem. It specifically relates to the wastefulness of suicide when there is so much out there to look forward to experiencing.
30 years ago when my wonderful marriage was escaping me.
20 years ago when my children wanted nothing to do with me.
10 years ago when my children started back.
0 years ago when my grandchildren mean so much to all of us.
10 years to come and I so wish I will be there to share that day.
Looks like another poem.
